NEW YORK (AP) — The Rev. Craig Duke has been a Methodist minister for three decades, building a reputation as a staunch advocate of LGBTQ inclusion. MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace said Friday on her show “Deadline” that the Republican National Committee’s censure of Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) put in writing that the Republican Party has become “the party of the insurrection.” Wallace said, “Steve, I can see the dogs in the background. If they’ll let us borrow you, I want to bring you in on this. It is not a split-screen. It is one screen. Mike Pence on Friday made his sharpest break yet with Donald Trump, saying the former president was “wrong” about Pence’s ability as vice president to overturn the 2020 election, calling the notion “un-American.” Trump slammed Pence ahead of the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021, for not having the “courage” to reject swing-state electors for then-President-elect Joe Biden, but Pence until now has more gently pushed back on Trump over it. “I heard this week that President Trump said I had the right to overturn the election. President Trump is wrong. I had no right to overturn the election,” Pence...

He's such a direct danger American democracy that there is no other effective remedy than immediate incarceration." The Professor explained "it's too risky for us to be concerned with his constitutional right to a fair trial.
