The National Weather Service on Tuesday night upgraded its winter storm watch to a winter storm warning for North and Central Texas. The warning is in effect from 3 p.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday for most of the region, according to the weather service’s Dallas-Fort Worth office. US competitive swimming's governing body has updated its policy on the eligibility of transgender athletes. A three-person medical panel will now determine whether "prior physical development of the athlete as a male" gives transgender swimmers an unfair advantage, USA Swimming says.
