"Smollett testifying in his own defense is one of two things, or maybe both: a narcissistic criminal defendant who is doubling down on his charged lies to law enforcement or defense attorneys who know they are way behind and are throwing a low probability Hail Mary to try to get their client off," former U.S. attorney Neama Rahmani, who is not involved with Smollett's case, told Fox News Digital. Rahmani added: "Either way, Smollett’s story was a bizarre attempt at forcing a square peg into a round hole by offering every possible explanation for the state’s digital evidence except the...

Comments: garymichael 12/08/21 - 12:07AM If a woman wants/needs to abort a pregnancy she should be able to do it safely and quickly and without nosy neighbors trying to collect a bounty. If the Supreme Court allows an atrocity like the Texas Law then they will diminish the reputation and authority of the Supreme Court because people will ignore the Texans and just go to another state and have an abortion if it's needed. Or as this article points out, they will take an abortion pill. Doing that those same people will be thumbing their noses at the law and...

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Luke 1:26-38 Friends, today’s Gospel shows how Mary became the mother of all the members of the Body of Christ. From the cross, Jesus pronounced this word to St. John: “Behold, your mother.” He was giving Mary not only to John, but through John to the whole Church. Mary would be the mother of all the beloved disciples of Jesus up and down the centuries. Then we recall that, at the Annunciation, the angel declared to the maiden of Nazareth: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power...

Former NBC Sports personality Bob Costas said Tuesday on CNN that “outspoken” former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and NBA star LeBron James were “conspicuously mum” on China’s record of human rights abuse. Illinois State head coach allegedly blamed offensive coordinator Kurt Beathard's performance, meaning jury would have to consider the football team's offensive capabilities. AFirst Amendment lawsuit by a college football team's ex-offensive coordinator may hinge on the performance of his players. Kurt Beathard claims he was dumped because he removed an Illinois State University (ISU) athletics department Black Lives Matter poster from his office door. He replaced it with a handwritten poster reading "All Lives Matter to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ." Student athletes boycotted practice in part because of his action, and the next day head football coach Brock...

After police in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, took her car, Malinda Harris did not get a chance to contest the seizure for five and a half years. After the Phoenix-based Goldwater Institute threatened to file a lawsuit on her behalf last March, the county agreed within a week to return the car, which she finally got back this summer. The contrast between those two timelines shows how easy it is for the government to seize innocent people's property under civil forfeiture laws, which allow law enforcement agencies to supplement their budgets by confiscating assets they claim are connected to criminal activity. Harris'...

Lawmakers voted for the key legislation which included the new UFO office in an amendment tabled by Democrat senator Kirsten Gillibrand. It was passed without issue amid the other political wranglings over the mammoth $770billion NDAA bill that sets out US defense policy and puts aside cash for the Pentagon. Gillibrand put forward the proposal, which was backed by US presidential hopeful Republican senator Marco Rubio and Democrat congressman Ruben Gallego. UFOs have become a hot topic in Washington - stepping from being dismissed as a fringe conspiracy theory to a serious national security debate. *snip* The move is seen...

Leftists, denied some of their wish list items by Congress so far, on Tuesday turned their rage onto commuters and visitors in Washington, D.C., blockading streets and halting traffic. WTOP posted a series of images showing the blocked roads and warned "activists" were demanding action from Congress of "climate, health care, immigration and voting rights." Those include several of the major points of the Biden administration, which so far has failed to make the changes it promised supporters during the 2020 election. The report explained a contingent also "began marching on Capitol Hill" to demand satisfaction. One of the team,...

Donald Trump is calling on President Joe Biden to leave office over the rising number of COVID-19 deaths, a point of criticism Biden had leveled against the former president during his term. Biden campaigned heavily on being the candidate that could properly tackle the pandemic and blamed Trump's response for hundreds of thousands of deaths. It's likely that the death toll under Biden will surpass those reported while Trump was in office. Meanwhile, Americans' weakening confidence in Biden's response to the pandemic is taking a toll on the president's overall approval rating. On Monday, Trump said the virus has beaten...

The Washington Post has published an opinion piece from Janet Yellen and Samantha Power that says that to save democracy the U.S must fight global corruption. It had to be a satire because they work for a man who has been knowingly corrupt for a long time and they obviously don’t care. To uphold democracy, the U.S. must fight global corruption Opinion ● Opinion by Janet L. Yellen and Samantha Power Around the world, in countries as varied as Russia, Venezuela and China, the wealthy and the well-connected launder their assets through complex networks of shell companies or transactions involving...

VIDEOYouTube constantly lectures us about spreading supposed misinformation. However, isn't the manipulation of video transcripts a YUUUUUUUUUGE example of spreading misinformation? This video presents evidence that YouTube, in the case of Marcus Arbery saying the "taboo" words "all lives matter," has used its transcripts (reflected in its closed captions) to hide that inconvenient phrase. And if YouTube has been manipulating its video transcripts in this case how often has it manipulated the transcripts of other videos in the past? Inquiring minds at the Senate Commerce Committee would like to know especially next year when it changes leadership.

And the Washington Post doesn't raise an eyebrow. With a deadpan face, the Washington Post informs us: Biden calls for sweeping new push to expose and punish financial corruption The administration said it would work with Congress to bring more scrutiny to trust companies, lawyers and other financial gatekeepers, seek to identify owners “hiding behind opaque” corporations and target those involved in real estate transactions used to hide or launder money. Notice how Biden says absolutely nothing about corruption among government officials? Or their families. And the WaPo raises not an eyebrow. The purported newspaper of record in the seat...

Please pray I find peace in my life. The last six weeks have been filled with so much sadness. End of October my husband was hospitalized with complications of diabetes. He is getting better but it takes time. And many trips to wound care. Then my oldest child with multiple health issues got covid. He seems better but it seems to be lingering. Then mid November my mother was hospitalized with sepsis. I made the ride everyday to go see her. She was moved to hospice and passed away on Thanksgiving. I am grateful I was by her side. Three...

VIDEO: Four years ago, we explained what Hamas, the terrorist organization that has controlled Gaza since 2006, had been up to since their rise to power. Now, we're revisiting the subject... and not much has changed. Hamas uses its power to benefit the people of Gaza, right? Wrong. Instead of using its power to benefit the people of Gaza, Hamas spends the majority of its resources on terrorist activities. During Operation Guardian of the Walls (May 10–21, 2021), Hamas fired over 4,300 rockets at Israel. Hamas' rocket launch sites, 'Metro' terror tunnel network, and other terror infrastructure cost millions of...

Nancy Pelosi is still keeping several dozens (hundreds ?) of her political prisoners behind bars, most in isolation for 23 hours per day, none allowed basic sanitation, barbers or cleaning, clean clothes and representation. Are they allowed mail? Christmas cards? If mailed Christmas cards, how are the cards or letters addressed, and how do we know if those cards are even delivered?

K-12 public schools throughout the U.S. are facing staff shortages so severe that school days are being canceled. Seattle, Boulder, and Portland, Oregon are just a few examples of districts without adequate staff to maintain daily operations following Veteran’s Day. Claiming exhaustion, hundreds of teachers in these cities opted to take the day off in order to have a four-day weekend. Denver Public Schools’ situation is even more dire. The district moved to remote learning for three days in mid-November, canceled school on November 19 as a mental health day, and took a full week off for Thanksgiving. The school...
