So just how much of a magnetic field would be needed to protect Mars and the humans that might someday live on it? Surprisingly, the team writes that the force needed to deflect say, solar wind, is about the same as a regular fridge magnet. But they’d need to generate it over the entire planet, a substantial challenge. The scientists suggested a few ways to pull it off. These include restarting and circulating Mars’ iron core, creating a continuous solid loop or loop of solid-state magnets, or using a chain of coupled sources with a controlled beam or a plasma...

Who is Ray Epps and why hasn't he been charged in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol? There are multiple videos that show the Arizona man apparently planning the march and advocating for protesters to breach the Capitol, yet there's no evidence that he ever entered the Capitol building. Last week, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky) questioned Attorney General Merrick Garland about Epps' role in the Capitol riot during a House oversight hearing. Massie played a video that appears to show Epps provoking protesters to go into the Capitol building and asked if there were "federal agents or assets...

WASHINGTON — Joe Biden turned 79 last week. He’s beginning to look his age. The president walks a little more stiffly now. His diction, once clear, sometimes sounds a little blurry. His syntax has always been ragged; that hasn’t changed. Like most of us, he gets tired at the end of a long day. At the U.N. climate summit in Scotland, he took his seat in the conference hall to hear the opening speeches and promptly appeared to doze off. None of this appears to be clearly affecting his job. Last week he signed a $1-trillion infrastructure bill, a feat...

SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) — Two onetime outsiders hailing from opposite extremes of the political spectrum received the most votes Sunday in Chile’s presidential election but failed to garner enough support for an outright win, setting up a polarizing runoff in the region’s most advanced economy.

President Joe Biden plans to blame businesses for raising prices and higher inflation this week, as his poll numbers continue to plunge. The president has scheduled a speech on the economy and “lowering prices for the American people” at the White House on Tuesday, before he leaves for his Thanksgiving vacation in Nantucket, Massachusetts.

ALEC BALDWIN is in the crosshairs over the fatal shooting of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins — and The National ENQUIRER can reveal the actor failed a lie detector test and may be covering up what he really knows about the tragedy! Baldwin, 63, fled New Mexico after firing a live bullet while rehearsing a scene for the low-budget Western, killing Halyna and injuring director Joel Souza. But anyone involved in the shooting, including Baldwin, the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, and assistant director Dave Halls, could face charges, according to investigators. Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza noted: “I wouldn’t call...

Picture Antarctica today and what comes to mind? Large ice floes bobbing in the Southern Ocean? Maybe a remote outpost populated with scientists from around the world? Or perhaps colonies of penguins puttering amid vast open tracts of snow? Fossils from Seymour Island, just off the Antarctic Peninsula, are painting a very different picture of what Antarctica looked like 40 to 50 million years ago – a time when the ecosystem was lusher and more diverse. Fossils of frogs and plants such as ferns and conifers indicate Seymour Island was much warmer and less icy, while fossil remains from marsupials...

Even as local authorities are telling people to shelter in place, this jagoff was busy making disgusting comments about the horrific scene where a red SUV drove through a Christmas Parade leaving at least 20 injured in Waukesha, WI. Information is all over the place as they are trying to piece together what happened, and he thought this was the right time to make a joke about Wisconsin law, Conservatives, and make a dig at Kyle Rittenhouse. What the Hell is wrong with these people? It's okay. The driver in Waukesha was afraid for his life and defending himself from...

An Illinois Democrat has been blasted for describing the deadly Christmas parade rampage in Wisconsin as “Karma” for the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse. Mary Lemanski, who is listed as the social media director for the Democratic Party in DuPage County, began her heartless online tirade by snarkily dismissing the tragedy as “just self-defense.”

A joyous scene of marching bands and children dancing in Santa hats and waving pompoms turned deadly in an instant, as an SUV sped through barricades and into a Christmas parade in suburban Milwaukee, killing at least five people and injuring more than 40 others. Investigators are examining whether the SUV’s driver may have been fleeing from a crime when he crashed into the paradegoers, a law enforcement official briefed on the matter told The Associated Press.

In May, the UNC School of Medicine revised its Guidelines for Appointment, Reappointment, and Promotion. Now, faculty seeking promotion must tout their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. One sample DEI statement, posted on the School of Medicine website, shows what that requirement might entail, concluding with a nod to the concept of intersectionality. "As I move forward in my career, I intend to continue to include issues of equity and inclusion in my bedside teaching. I commit to annually attending a seminar offered by the University Office of Diversity and Inclusion to learn more about the intersectionality of race,...

To be clear, though, from the outset, this article is not about me. It is about the question of what it means to be a conservative. I simply use myself as an example. My question for consideration is this. If you have voted exclusively Republican for decades (including voting for Trump in 2016 and 2020), you are a staunch, Bible-based moral conservative on marriage and family issues, and you have consistently spoken out against the leftwing, Democratic agenda, how do you then become a “closet liberal”? According to one commenter (with reference to me): “This writer is a closet liberal....

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is leading former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) by 6 points in the Lone Star State’s gubernatorial race, according to a new poll, days after O’Rourke officially launched his bid for office in his home state. The poll, conducted by the Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler, found that in a head-to-head matchup between the two candidates, 45 percent of registered voters said they support Abbott, while 39 percent said they are backing O’Rourke. Sixteen percent of respondents said they would vote for a different candidate for governor.

"It’s indisputable fact that mRNA-injected individuals transmit spike proteins via shedding to any and everyone around them, particularly the non-vaxxed. Pfizer admitted the shedding phenomenon in its own documents. Dr. Luigi Warren, one of the pioneers of injectable mRNA technology, also admitted that shedding is a real phenomenon. We also know that self-disseminating vaccine technology exists that spreads from one human or animal to another just by being in close proximity to a “vaccinated” human or animal. Fewer people are familiar with the connections between COVID-19, “vaccines” and 5G technology. Mainstream media dismiss all such connections as “conspiracy theory.” But...

Saturday, MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross and her guest Elie Mystal did not pull any punches when expressing their frustrations with Friday’s acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse by a Kenosha, WI jury. Mystal criticized the verdict as a “miscarriage of justice” and a product of the “white justice system.” However, later in the segment, Cross took aim at Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) for suggestions Rittenhouse could be a congressional intern. The MSNBC “Cross Connection” host referred to Rittenhouse as a “little murderous white supremacist” in her critique.

Massive looting in San Francisco’s central Union Square on Friday evening led local police to limit car access to the plaza, which is the centerpiece of the downtown area and one of the most popular tourist destinations on the cable car route. The San Francisco Chronicle reported Saturday that gangs of looters emptied out high-end stores the night before, including Louis Vuitton. ...San Francisco has been at the forefront of left-wing cities in “criminal justice reform” and police reform. Earlier this year, the mayor announced that the city would redistribute over $100 million from law enforcement to projects aimed at...

" . . . .Pfizer, Moderna, et al. and your genes Yes, this article contains a lot of scientific and legal mumbo-jumbo. But in a nutshell, biotechnology companies can own living things if said things are genetically-modified and not naturally-occurring. No mouse is born in nature like the OncoMouse. It is thus patentable. Oil-eating bacteria come from genetic manipulation, thus patentable. Notice how all these so-called doctors and scientists avoid pointing fingers at Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson et al. when someone dies within hours, days or weeks of receiving their shots. It’s almost as if said doctors and scientists...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemDaniel 1Daniel’s Training in Babylon 1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia[a] and put in the treasure house of his god. 3 Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring into the king’s service some of the Israelites from the...

Inflation versus Rising PricesInflation is an increase in the overall general price level of an economy. It should not be confused with an increase in the price of a good or service over a short period due to increased demand, relative to supply in the case of the introduction of a new version of a product like an Xbox, nor reduced supply, relative to demand due to supply chain problems, such as the case of computer chips for automobiles. Nobel Prize-winning economist Milton Friedman noted, “Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon in the sense that it is and...
