ALEC BALDWIN is in the crosshairs over the fatal shooting of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins — and The National ENQUIRER can reveal the actor failed a lie detector test and may be covering up what he really knows about the tragedy!

Baldwin, 63, fled New Mexico after firing a live bullet while rehearsing a scene for the low-budget Western, killing Halyna and injuring director Joel Souza.

But anyone involved in the shooting, including Baldwin, the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, and assistant director Dave Halls, could face charges, according to investigators.

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza noted: “I wouldn’t call it an accident at all. It’s a criminal investigation.”

Baldwin, who’s also the film’s producer, tried to clear himself in an impromptu press conference — but voice stress analyst Michael Sylvestre, who reviewed the shooter’s remarks at The ENQUIRER’s request, concluded he was lying!

They did a voice analysis of his comments to the press in Vermont. The sheriff says it is a criminal investigation and not at an accident at all. I know not most prestigious source.

There is a machine or program that does voice stress analysis and a human expert analyzes it. A real lie detector test works similarly, except test questions are asked and the equipment is set up better to measure responses.

At the core of this shooting suspect Baldwin was having an affair with the blonde armorer and at some point began to flirt with the blonde photographer he shot. Probably some drugs and alcohol in the mix as well.

There are many jobs were being able to lie without betraying the fact you are lying is an asset (actor, gambler, lawyer, used car sales man and so on) but the average person have problem lying (when they know it is a lie) and give off various “tells” that professionals (such as police) can use.

Now in Baldwins case I expect he would be able to lie without giving it away.

Having said that I would not want someone’s opinion about someone telling the truth be admitted in a court of law and if it is then you are correct, it is “garbage science”.
