It’s unclear to me that he was being chased AT THE TIME he plowed into the parade. I haven’t read that there were police cars seen in pursuit of him. No witnesses have said so that I’m aware of. A cop did say over scanner that he tried and lost him. So what was happening AT THE TIME he hit the parade? Did he see it as an opportunity presented while evading LE? Had he planned it and a (rumored) knife fight inconveniently slowed his plan? Was he just trying to escape and (upcoming media take) “accidentally, in a panic, hit some people”...

Holy cow, am I the only one watching on the Real America’s Voice app? They CONSTANTLY run the most annoying ad for the Phoenix, AZ America Fest event. The caustic, pulsating noise of this ad drives everyone out of the room..Hard to believe it’s not actually driving people away from the event
Thanks- got that. My question is what started it? Was there actually LE in vehicle pursuing him? OR, did he just drive to parade and start hitting people?
I expect they will answer this at news conf today.
