And the Dumb Guv spread covid into nursing homes and killed 15,000 grannies. That's right. 1 in 20 (5%) of the covid deaths last year were due to Andrew Cuomo's order that nursing homes take in covid patients. The press hailed him as a hero. But there's a new governor and in a couple of months Gotham will have a new mayor. But...

New data is out about traffic fatalities in 2020 and, despite the lockdowns from Covid, the numbers are shocking. Deaths on the road were higher during 2020 than any other year dating back to 2007 - during a year where less people were driving, Bloomberg reported this week. Even more alarming is the fact that 2021 could wind up being worse, as the government estimates that 20,160 have died from crashes in the first half of 2021 - a stunning 18.4% increase from 2020. Transportation Secretary "Mayor Pete" said in October, when the numbers were released: “This is a crisis....

Earlier on Saturday, the nations gathered for the COP26 climate summit reached a deal. This comes after live updated reporting from The New York Times included a headline that noted "Negotiations Stretch Into the Night," and went on to point out that there had been "[a]nxious energy." A separate piece, "Here’s What Happened on the Final Day of the COP26 Climate Talks," noted that while "a major agreement" was reached," it "also left crucial questions unresolved."The deal, as the later piece from the New York Times explained:GLASGOW — With the bang of a gavel, diplomats from nearly 200 countries on...

Twitter has a dirty little secret, something CEO Jack Dorsey and his hundreds of millions of users — some of whom might even be real — don’t want you to know. Nobody cares what happens on Twitter. When I say “nobody,” I don’t mean people like you, gentle reader, who were probably too smart to ever get involved on the pond-scum platform. I don’t even mean people like myself, who fell in love with Twitter in its early days, but who finally quit when the oppressive Woke nonsense got to be too much. When I say “nobody cares what happens...

What was the first thing you learned in that Econ 101 class that you were required to take in school? My guess is that the professor explained "supply and demand." My professor was a wonderful gentleman from Korea who explained it so beautifully: less candy, you pay more for candy. He said something similar the next week: less beer, you pay more for beer, and then the class couldn't stop laughing. Candy or beer, but we got it!Want to understand why you are paying more for gasoline? Let's check what Katie Pavlich wrote this week:According to the U.S. Energy Information...

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters at a Nov. 12 briefing that rising gasoline prices—which are up around 60 percent from a year ago—are a strong argument in favor of more government spending on green energy solutions, while dismissing suggestions that the Biden administration’s policies like halting new oil and gas drilling leases were causing pain at the pump. “The rise in gas prices over the long term makes it an even stronger case for doubling down our investment and our focus on clean energy options so that we are not relying on the fluctuations and OPEC and...

Alex Berenson, the former New York Times science writer who has been a voice of reason on the COVID epidemic, assembles evidence that the mandated COVID pseudo-vaccines have failed all over the world, in a Substack post titled "Worldwide vaccine failure."If the COVID jabs are so effective that constitutionally dubious vaccine mandates are being pushed by the Biden regime, then those locales with the highest vaccination rates must have brought the virus under better control than elsewhere, obviously. But that is not the case. The countries with the highest vaccination rates are seeing soaring cases and even deaths. Here is Singapore,...

Has anyone here - if their kids are still in public school - had any experience with their kids being exposed to the CRT agenda? I'd be curious to see any of the actual materials, etc. The reason I'm asking is I have an acquaintance who claims the whole argument is right-wing alarmism without any basis in fact.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says it has no record of people who are naturally immune transmitting the virus that causes COVID-19. The federal health agency was asked during the fall by a lawyer on behalf of the Informed Consent Action Network for documents “reflecting any documented case of an individual who: (1) never received a COVID-19 vaccine; (2) was infected with COVID-19 once, recovered, and then later became infected again; and (3) transmitted SARS-CoV-2 to another person when reinfected.” SARS-CoV-2 is another name for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19. Persons who recover from COVID-19...

Every week there’s a new chart from Digital Entertainment Group of the movies most watched at home, rented on DVD or digital. This week, “Free Guy” starring Ryan Reynolds, which I watched on a plane this weekend and was very enjoyable, was number 1. Number 3 was M. Night Shyamalan’s “Old.” Beats me why, I thought it was terrible. More importantly, number 2 was “Yellowstone, Season 4.” Number 11 is “Yellowstone Season 1.” Number 19 is Season 3. “Yellowstone” is a TV series, and it’s the only in the top 20. In three spots. “Yellowstone” is a rare phenom these...

At the same time, it has the 12th-highest rate of new COVID-19 cases over the last week, state data released Tuesday shows. Vermont has seen...
