VIDEO"Sanjay, you're a prince. I don't know where you get your patience"...for tolerating a deplorable like Joe Rogan. Of course, we won't at all mention that Rogan got you to admit that CNN LIED about him using "horse dewormer" to treat his Covid. Instead we will dwell on the "nuances" rather than the real substance of the interview which revealed CNN as a very deceptive network. Oh, and can anybody out there do a count on the number of times Gupta used the word "nuance" during his Rogan interview as well as during his appearance on the CNN damage control?

Dear Gov. Cooper, We write to you today as citizens of the state of North Carolina, many of whom voted for you, who care deeply about social justice issues, and who own firearms. We are writing to you about H.B. 398, which has passed the North Carolina House and Senate on party-line votes and now sits at your desk. We ask you, despite the partisan nature of previous votes, to sign this bill, as we consider the current law does nothing to promote firearms safety or social justice, and instead is a tax and legal burden on working class...

SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle’s police department is sending detectives and non-patrol officers to respond to emergency calls because of a shortage of patrol officers that union leaders fear will become worse because of COVID-19 vaccine mandates. The department on Wednesday moved to the emergency officer dispatching scenario because of the staffing crunch. KOMO reports the department has lost more than 300 officers over the past year. Nearly 300 more could face termination if they do not comply with an Oct. 18 deadline to be vaccinated against the coronavirus. “We can’t afford to lose one, that’s how desperate we are to...

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California Gov. Gavin Newsom spent the summer campaigning to keep his job and, with a landslide victory in hand, he’s continued pushing progressive California further left. In the four weeks after beating back a recall attempt, the Democrat signed laws that require gender-neutral displays of children’s toys and toothbrushes in large department stores, made it illegal to remove a condom without consent during intercourse and cleared the way for a nation’s first ban on the sale of new gas-powered leaf blowers and lawn mowers. He also made it illegal to film someone near an abortion clinic...

Compared with just one month ago, consumers are paying slightly more for most goods and services. Compared with a year ago, however, they’re paying significantly more, according to Labor Department data released this week. The Labor Department reported that the consumer price index, a key inflation gauge that measures how much Americans pay for goods and services, rose about 0.4 percent in September. The year-over-year prices increased 5.4 percent, which some noted is the largest yearly increase since January 1991. The agency’s report (pdf), released Wednesday, breaks down how much prices have increased for certain key services and goods, including...

From the Psaki tweet: "Planning a cookout this year? Ketchup on the news," the White House tweeted Thursday. "According to the Farm Bureau, the cost of a 4th of July BBQ is down from last year. It’s a fact you must-hear(d) – Hot dog, the Biden economic plan is working. And that’s something we can all relish." "Sixteen cents?" Doocy asked after noting the tweet.

Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden resigned earlier this week after The New York Times publicized emails from the coach containing offensive remarks. The emails sent by the Super Bowl-winning coach between 2011-2018 have been called “racist, misogynistic, and homophobic.”

On this episode of the Resistance Library Podcast, Sam and Dave discuss Charlton Heston. Charlton Heston is a singular figure in American history and consciousness. During the early period of his acting career, he was known for historical and Biblical epics. After his career waned throughout the 1960s, he was reborn as a science fiction actor, thanks to his starring role in Planet of the Apes. While often viewed as a bit of camp today, this film and the series that spawned it was the biggest popular science fiction movie franchise in the pre-Star Wars era. For our purposes, however,...

Rabbi Slomo Koves was preparing to speak about Jewish life at a high school in a small, industrial town in Hungary when suddenly the headmaster had concerns. “The head of the school told me that he wanted me to be careful because most of the kids are first-time voters — and most of them will vote for the extreme-right Jobbik party,” Koves said. Koves, from Budapest, insisted that he would be okay and the first question he asked the students was: “What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘Jew’?” Their answer, he says, “was a curse word.” […]...

Mollie Hemingway’s new book, 'Rigged,' explains how the 2020 election was corrupted by the concerted efforts of America’s most powerful institutions.Hillary Clinton said Monday in an appearance on “The View” that we’re “in the midst of a concerted, well-funded effort to undermine American democracy.”She’s half-right. There is indeed a concerted, well-funded effort to undermine American democracy, but it doesn’t come from Donald Trump, whom Clinton claims is responsible for the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and ongoing efforts to question the legitimacy of the 2020 election. (Clinton would know all about questioning the legitimacy of elections; as recently...

CNN)The committee investigating the January 6 Capitol Hill riot announced Thursday it is moving forward to hold Trump ally Steve Bannon in criminal contempt for refusing to comply with a subpoena, as his game of chicken with the House panel now enters a new and critical phase. "Mr. Bannon has declined to cooperate with the Select Committee and is instead hiding behind the former President's insufficient, blanket, and vague statements regarding privileges he has purported to invoke," Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson, who chairs the committee, said in a statement on Thursday. Bannon was scheduled for a deposition in front of...

The son managed to escape and reach the car while Walsh could not outrun the elephant which trampled him to death.

ESPN “First Take” host Stephen A. Smith got into a heated discussion with colleague Jay Williams on Wednesday regarding Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving’s refusal to get vaccinated. Irving reportedly isn’t getting vaccinated because he opposes mandates forcing him to take vaccines. That move could cost the star his entire season due to not being able to play home games because of New York’s vaccine policies. Williams, who played in the NBA, voiced his opposition to the vaccinated, labeling the unvaccinated “stupid” or “selfish” by the likes of Smith. “I’m just telling you how it feels to some people, Stephen...

Arda was the last to get out of the tunnel - and the first to get caught. Here are some excerpts from his police investigations:... No, GOP swampers, Donald Trump is not going away. Much to the shock and dismay of establishment Republicans in Washington, President Trump has no plans whatsoever of going quietly into that good night. Or retirement. Or surrender. Or whatever. Did you see his rally in Iowa this weekend? Or the one in Georgia before that? No. Your long, national nightmare is nowhere near over. And the fact that so many of them think that Mr. Trump might just walk away reminds us of just how fantastically out of touch from their own voters the Republican Party has been for decades....

The last election was unacceptable. And before the next one, more Republican leaders must wake up to the mess that was created in 2020 and refuse to accept another sloppy round.MADISON, Wis. — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reaffirmed his state’s commitment to election integrity on Tuesday, especially keeping tech giants and their partisan CEOs from corrupting local elections. Given what we know now about how Mark Zuckerberg and other left-wing actors commandeered election operations in blue hubs of swing states in 2020, other states would do well to follow DeSantis’s lead — and Wisconsin is a good case study in...

Mayor Bill de Blasio, seemingly unsatisfied with the disapproval that comes with imposing vastly unpopular and unnecessary mask and vaccine mandates, has found another way to anger New Yorkers. With just three months remaining on his term, de Blasio has called for the removal of a 187-year-old Thomas Jefferson statue from City Hall’s council chambers. Yes, de Blasio is attempting to cancel a former president who died nearly 200 years ago.
