Many were surprised to see that the House Armed Services Committee included a provision in this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (see §1652) requiring the Secretary of Defense to create a staff position to orchestrate UAP data collection and analysis. Is this a good idea? Should the Senate agree to this proposal and include it in the annual Defense Authorization bill submitted to the President? At the outset it is important to applaud this initiative on the part of Rep. Ruben Gallego of Arizona. After all, aerospace vehicles of unknown origin and capability are violating restricted U.S. military airspace on...

There Is No Such Thing As A Future The Antichrist. By JAG October 5, 2021 (1) Intelligent extraterrestrials have visited Earth. (2) There will be a future The Antichrist. (1) and (2) are in the same category. Both are bald assertions without a shred of credible evidence in support. Its impossible to produce even one (1) Bible verse that says there will be a future The Antichrist. There were/are antichrists (little a, plural) in the world, but there is no such thing as an evil political world ruler, in our future, to be known as The Antichrist ~ try to...

Merrick Garland answered the National School Board Association's plea for broad federal intervention, which only stands to keep parents out of meetings while escalating political warfare. From Day One, public schooling has been a political and social battleground. From conflicts over whose religion would be taught in Horace Mann’s “common schools,” to the 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial, to critical race theory, public schooling has forced Americans to fight one another. It is inevitable in a system that requires all, diverse people to fund politically controlled schools.Last week, the National School Boards Association (NSBA) escalated the combat to the highest level, calling...

OWEN SOUND, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) – Dr. Rochagné Kilian recently resigned as an emergency room and family practice physician due to her concerns that the Ontario health system and Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS) crossed ethical lines throughout the pandemic. In a virtual meeting that included GBHS CEO Gary Sims and other staff members, Dr. Kilian asked Sims a series of questions about what she believes is unethical behaviour on behalf of the Ontario health system at all levels. Sims appeared to be unprepared for difficult questions pertaining to the ongoing rollout of vaccination mandates and vaccine segregation restrictions the Ontario...

Researchers from the University of Toledo have discovered a prospective new treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. The vaccine-based treatment strategy proved successful in preliminary animal studies and the researchers are looking to conduct more clinical trials in the future. The research hinges around a protein called 14-3-3 zeta. Ritu Chakravarti, lead author on the new study, has been studying 14-3-3 zeta for several years due to its suspected role in a number of autoimmune conditions. The initial hypothesis was this protein played a significant role in the onset of rheumatoid arthritis. If it was triggering the disease then knocking out the...

A 100-year-old concentration camp guard refused to make a statement as he became the oldest man to go on trial for Nazi-era crimes today. The centenarian, identified only as Josef S, also hid his face from cameras as he appeared in court in Germany charged with complicity in 3,518 murders at the Sachsenhausen death camp between 1942 and 1954. Charges against Josef, who was an SS paramilitary and a camp watchman, include aiding and abetting the 'execution by firing squad of Soviet prisoners of war in 1942' and the murder of prisoners 'using the poisonous gas Zyklon B'. Josef's refusal...

More than a dozen NBA veterans — including former Coney Island high-school star and ex-Los Angeles Clipper Sebastian Telfair — have been charged with defrauding the sports association’s health plan out of millions of dollars, Manhattan federal prosecutors announced Thursday. The indictment accuses 18 former ballers of ripping off $4 million from the NBA’s Health and Welfare Benefit Plan, which provides additional coverage to eligible active and retired players. The defendants allegedly submitted “false and fraudulent claims for reimbursement of expenses for medical and dental services that were not actually rendered,” according to court papers.

More than a dozen former NBA players have been charged in New York federal court in an alleged multi-million-dollar health insurance fraud scheme to rip off the league's benefit plan, according to an indictment unsealed in the Southern District on Thursday. The 18 former players named in the indictment include alleged scheme ringleader Terrence Williams, selected 11th overall in the 2009 NBA draft by the then-New Jersey Nets, six-time NBA All-Defensive Team member Tony Allen, former Lakers Guard Shannon Brown and Ronald Glen Davis, who played for the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers over the course of...

As negotiations over the staggering $3.4 trillion “Build Back Better” plan price tag continue to raise concern, the health policy agenda put forth in the plan is equally alarming. At first glance, some might argue the Build Back Better plan takes a more modest approach on health care by avoiding the inclusion of a full-blown, government-run, single-payer proposal. Yet, the various health care provisions in the proposal taken collectively expose an agenda to use a public option to pave the way to single-payer health care. Instead of “Medicare for All,” a congressional proposal to outlaw private insurance and put everyone...

Many sincere Christians have confused, conflicting, and convoluted notions about what became the War for Independence or, as some call it, the Revolutionary War. However, it was not a revolution but a war of self-defense, and that fact is seldom discussed in America’s classrooms. When the pertinent facts are known, Americans will have no embarrassment over our “rebel” past. The Stamp Act of 1765 was a power grab by King George III whereby various publications and legal forms in America would require a stamp (tax) before they could be issued. The colonialists resented the act as being taxation without representation....

After appearing to level off somewhat, Pennsylvania’s COVID-19 hospitalizations are rising again. Across the state, 3,001 patients are being treated for the coronavirus in hospitals, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported Thursday. That represents an increase of 110 over the previous day. The department says 680 patients are being treated in intensive care units. This is the first day Pennsylvania has reported more than 3,000 hospitalizations since Feb. 5. New hospital cases had appeared to flatten, even dipping slightly within the last week before rising in the last few days. The number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals remains well below...

Republican Senator Rand Paul has blasted Attorney General Merrick Garland for his plans for the FBI to crackdown on parents who stand up for woke school boards, warning that Americans should 'be afraid of your government'. Paul said moms at school boards are now being told 'they are criminals' as he slammed the Justice Department's plans to draft in the FBI to prosecute parents for protesting against the likes of critical race theory (CRT) and transgender ideology being taught to their children in schools across America. The Kentucky senator told Fox News Primetime: 'Moms at school boards are being told...

Companies where more than 10 percent of turnover is derived from fossil fuel extraction will be excluded from investments made by the Representative Church Body (RCB). The fact that 24-year-old Jonathan Isaac can speak more cogently about COVID and freedom of conscience than the entire corporate press is an astonishing development. One of the most remarkable twists in the pandemic is that a handful of NBA players have emerged as the most cogent and principled defenders of liberty, common sense, and basic civic decency in America. It’s a bit unexpected. In recent years, the NBA has most often landed in the political news cycle thanks to LeBron James’ disgusting habit of bowing and scraping before the Chinese Communist Party, or Steve Kerr’s refusal to breathe a word about...

...1.8 million women in the United States left the workforce during COVID-19. Economists actually pointed out how the number is closer to 2.3 million if you take into account the growth rate of the pre-pandemic labor force Why Did Women Leave the Workforce? Maintaining a work-life balance was the main reason women left the workforce during the pandemic. About 25% of corporate women recently said they’re thinking about downshifting or leaving the workforce all together. What else could help alleviate the "She-cession?" U.S. President Joe Biden has tagged $650 billion for childcare programs, universal pre-K, and to establish a paid...

Cruise lines are expecting to welcome back more families with vaccinations for younger kits set to be approved. Several major cruise lines have indicated that they will be welcoming young kids back on board sooner rather than later. While it is technically possible for children under the age of 12 to sail right now with the most cruise lines, there is a whole list of testing requirements that need to be fulfilled—something which is putting families off cruising right now. Whether or not it does happen depends on the FDA approving Pfizer’s research into vaccinating children, something expected to happen...

University of South Florida Health-led team discovers that the compound fenchol has the same beneficial effect as gut-derived metabolites in reducing neurotoxic amyloid-beta in the brain. Fenchol, a natural compound abundant in some plants including basil, can help protect the brain against Alzheimer’s disease pathology, a preclinical study led by University of South Florida Health (USF Health) researchers suggests. The new study published on October 5, 2021, in the Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience, discovered a sensing mechanism associated with the gut microbiome that explains how fenchol reduces neurotoxicity in the Alzheimer’s brain. Emerging evidence indicates that short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs)–...

Cybersecurity experts who held lucrative Pentagon and homeland security contracts and high-level security clearances are under investigation for potentially abusing their government privileges to aid a 2016 Clinton campaign plot to falsely link Donald Trump to Russia and trigger an FBI investigation of him and his campaign, according to several sources familiar with the work of Special Counsel John Durham. Durham is investigating whether they were involved in a scheme to misuse sensitive, nonpublic Internet data, which they had access to through their government contracts, to dredge up derogatory information on Trump on behalf of the Clinton campaign in 2016...

Chris Hayes called out Tucker Carlson during Wednesday's All In With Chris Hayes. Hayes pointed out that Carlson has been a vocal opponent to vaccine mandates, both in the private and public sectors, while also adhering to his own company’s policies. Carlson has bashed mandates as “tyrannical” and referred to President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate as “a form of sadomasochism,” which Hayes found ironic. “The Fox News vaccine requirement is stricter than the one proposed by President Joe Biden and described as ‘tyranny’ and ‘creeping communism,’” Hayes said. Over the past several months, Carlson and other Fox News personalities have...
