...1.8 million women in the United States left the workforce during COVID-19. Economists actually pointed out how the number is closer to 2.3 million if you take into account the growth rate of the pre-pandemic labor force

Why Did Women Leave the Workforce?

Maintaining a work-life balance was the main reason women left the workforce during the pandemic.

About 25% of corporate women recently said they’re thinking about downshifting or leaving the workforce all together.

What else could help alleviate the "She-cession?"

U.S. President Joe Biden has tagged $650 billion for childcare programs, universal pre-K, and to establish a paid family and medical leave program.

The article is focused on what a tragedy it is that working mothers are leaving the workforce and what can be done to bring them back to the office.

But, if you read between the lines, you can see that many working mothers are leaving the workforce to spend time with their families.

Why put women back in the workplace? What’s wrong with women being wives and mothers if they want to?

Maybe there is one silver-lining to all this.

I wonder about this too. Originally, feminists talked about how women should have choices about how to live their lives. Then somehow that morphed into the idea that women are supposed to have careers in Corporate America. Then they were telling us that somehow it was domestic oppression of some sort, if women were primarily wives and mothers, and made the family the focus of their lives. The idea of women having choices disappeared.

It boils down to taxes. More women working means more income tax.

I know some women who are out of work because Deep State’s CoupFlu diktats bankrupted their women-owned, women-run businesses.

There is.

It’s interesting that when Obama was in office I observed a number of young women marrying older, financially secure men in order to start families and to embrace a traditional lifestyle.

Oddly, that seemed to all but stop while Trump was in office.

Now there’s three young ladies from my church who have married men who are 10-16 years their senior and all three are either working part time or not at all in order to start families.

I’ve anecdotally concluded that a bad economy leads young women to pursue financial security and the otherwise socially unacceptable traditional family lifestyle becomes a valid option for them in bad times.

No, I have no studies to support this. Just what I’ve seen in person is all.

Much could be improved with a Mom or a Dad at home, full time.

That said, can we Taxpayers afford to subsidize this through endless spending by Congress? You know darn well that the majority of the ‘moms’ that take advantage of these FREE MONEY ‘programs’ ARE going to be those that will continue to vote Democrat, Right? Conservative Moms are, for the most part, already raising their own kids.

“U.S. _resident Slow Joe has tagged $650 billion for childcare programs, universal pre-K, and to establish a paid family and medical leave program.”

Free money! Free stuff! Yay!

What do we do? I want intact families raising good citizens. Should it be subsidized? No one subsidized my Mom staying home with my sister and I and we did fine on one income, thanks to having a hard working Dad. Should hard-working Singles with no kids, be subsidizing other Moms to stay home?

What about single Moms? Do we just put even MORE of them on the dole so they don’t HAVE to work? How is that ‘working’ for society as a whole, so far? (Hint: Not well!)

None of this is sustainable. None of it. And it’s all by design.

They found out that staying home with the children was a far more rewarding job than the one they had. By the time you add childcare and wardrobe the economics aren’t that great either. The best thing that could happen to this country is for moms to get to be moms.

The state wants to raise the children. They want to indoctrinate the children to fit into the state’s preferred role. They want the revenue from the women’s labor to pay for it.

Remember the children belong to the state. That is a key feature of autocratic governments. Also, there is no place for God. The state is god until God steps in (again).

They just want to make sure women of child bearing age are sterilized with mandatory vaccines required for work. Otherwise, they are destroying the economy and women home with their children are not needed in the workforce.

Bingo...and the anti-Constitutional Income Tax needs to go. Our Founding Fathers knew that government would use it as a tool for tyranny.

I suspect a lot of these women are walking away from corporate jobs due to vaccine and mask mandates.

They're not opposed to vaccines and masks (you'll probably find that women overwhelmingly embrace this silly sh!t). They've just logically concluded that a workplace where vaccines and masks are required is clearly an unsafe workplace by any objective measure.

Because more women in the workforce suppresses wages and leaves their children to be raised in socialist/woke society.
It’s doubleplusgood.
