Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) on Wednesday shot down calls from within his own party to try to impeach President Biden, pointing to next year's midterm election as a potential check on the administration. "Well, look, the president is not going to be removed from office. There's a Democratic House, a narrowly Democratic Senate. That's not going to happen," McConnell said at an event in Kentucky, asked if Biden's handling of the drawdown in Afghanistan merits impeachment and if he would support it. "There isn't going to be an impeachment," he added. McConnell's comments come as some Republicans in...

The only thing consistent about the Biden-Harris regime is that there is no consistency in any of their policies, communications, or actions. What is said to be true yesterday may not be true today but may be true again tomorrow. Case-in-Point: Dueling narratives about the use of the word “stranded” to categorize the Americans who have been abandoned by the Biden-Harris regime to await their fate at the hands of the Taliban. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed it was irresponsible to label the stranded Americans as “stranded.” But yesterday, Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby said Americans are stranded in...

The German startup Rocket Factory Augsburg, or RFA, has concluded another test of their RFA One rocket. In the test, the company performed a destructive cryogenic pressure test of their first stage prototype. The company has shown a video in which the prototype stage broke apart after it was fueled with cryogenic nitrogen to test the quality of the welds and determine the pressure at which the structure fails. The company previously switched from the gas generator cycle to a staged combustion design for their engine. The RFA One is a three-stage rocket currently in development. The current design calls...

Chase Bank on Tuesday told TheBlaze it has apologized for the credit card cancellation letter that retired Gen. Michael Flynn — former national security adviser under former President Donald Trump — posted on his Telegram social media page Sunday. Chase's Aug. 20 letter reads, in part, "we decided to close your credit cards on September 18, 2021 because continuing the relationship creates possible reputational risk to our company." Chase Bank also told TheBlaze that "we made an error" in reference to the cancellation letter. What's the background? Flynn on Sunday posted on Telegram the above image of the Chase letter...

[Catholic Caucus] Francis, in interview: Actually, the Traditional Mass was not abolished, I just wanted a “constructive reordering” of Summorum Pontificum… From an interview granted by Francis to Spanish Catholic radio COPE:[Q.] I don’t know if Pope Francis is a man who likes to bang his fist on the table. Would it be possible that the last blow on the table has been the pontifical document limiting the celebration of the ‘Tridentine Masses’? And I also ask you to explain to my audience what the ‘Tridentine Mass’ is, what is it about the Tridentine Mass that is not mandatory....

A lot of good things are happening in Texas lately, and while the focus has been on the passage of an election integrity bill, the biggest victory for decency and good has come via a new abortion law. The law in question essentially bans abortion after six weeks and provides mechanisms for violations to be reported. That has the ACLU losing its mind, and you just hate to see it. The law doesn’t just allow these lawsuits — it actively encourages private individuals to act as bounty hunters by awarding them at least $10,000 if they are successful. — ACLU...

Pro-life Americans are celebrating the state of Texas today, which becomes the first state in the nation to have an abortion ban go into effect after the Supreme Court declined to block it. As LifeNews.com reported, Texas just became the first state in nearly 50 years to be allowed to protect unborn babies by banning almost all abortions. On Wednesday, the state heartbeat law went into effect, prohibiting abortions once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, about six weeks of pregnancy. The legislation has the potential to save tens of thousands of babies’ lives in Texas, including about 100 every...

Joe Biden immediately came out and attacked Texas for its “heartbeat” abortion law. The “heartbeat” law will effectively outlaw abortions in the state after 6 weeks and also gives any citizen – including those outside Texas – the right to take legal action against anyone who ‘aids and abets’ the termination of a pregnancy after the cut off point. The Supreme Court did not respond to the ACLU’s lawsuit by the Tuesday night deadline. The Marxists at the ACLU flipped out Tuesday night when the Supreme Court ignored their emergency request to block the 6-week abortion ban. BREAKING: The Supreme...

A North Carolina high school has been placed on lockdown after at least one person was reportedly shot on campus Wednesday, authorities said. Authorities received a call just after 12 p.m. from a school resource officer about someone shot at Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, news station WXII reported. “There has been a shooting on school property,” the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook. “We and the [Winston-Salem Police Department] have secured the campus and are doing everything possible to keep students safe.” The sheriff’s office said it had begun transporting all students to the Robinhood Family YMCA.

Dear friends; if you watch or listen to any of the news of our hour; you will have to come to the horrific conclusion that the demonic powers that be have the full advantage of our day in absolute lawlessness and godlessness - Eph. 2:1-3; 6:10-12! The demonic spin of the American Left totally dominates because millions upon millions of Americans love it to be so - John 3:19-20! They love darkness and are eating it up like contestants at a hot dog eating contest! Dear friends; be not deceived! The Day of the Lord is at hand and none...

“Tradition Devoured by the Magisterium” This essay appeared at the Spanish site Caminante Wanderer on August 14, under the title “La Tradición devorada por el Magisterio.” This translation has been prepared for Rorate Caeli.—PAKTradition Devoured by the Magisterium(from the Spanish blog Caminante Wanderer)I would like to propose a thesis: in the course of the centuries, and especially after the Council of Trent, there has been a shift from an objective notion of Tradition as a revealed deposit to a subjective notion, which insists above all on the organ that proposes the truth—that is, the Magisterium. In scholastic terms, there...

Taliban fighters are feeling angry and betrayed Wednesday after discovering that Afghan National Army helicopters abandoned at Kabul’s airport have been rendered inoperable by departing U.S. troops, according to a report. An Al Jazeera reporter who toured a hanger on the military side of the airport said in a video that the terrorist group "expected the Americans to leave helicopters like this in one piece for their use." "When I said to them, ‘why do you think that the Americans would have left everything operational for you’? They said because we believe it is a national asset and we are...

Republicans are tearing into President Biden's July 23 phone call with Ashraf Ghani, where he implored the Afghan leader to 'change the perception' and try and show the world they were beating the Taliban 'whether it is true or not.' 'I'm disgusted that President Biden lied to the world to try to make everyone think the Taliban wasn't taking over, when he knew they were rapidly gaining power. His lies cost us 13 American lives and Biden abandoned our allies when they needed us most,' Rep. Lisa McClain, R-Mich., told DailyMail.com. At least 170 people and 13 US troops were...

China's armed forces can "paralyse" Taiwan's defences and are able to fully monitor its deployments, the island's defence ministry said, offering a stark assessment of the rising threat posed by its giant neighbour. Beijing is stepping up military activities around the island, which it views as Chinese territory. It has never renounced the use of force to bring democratic Taiwan under its control. In its annual report to parliament on China's military, a copy of which was reviewed by Reuters, Taiwan's Defence Ministry presented a far graver view than it did last year, when the report said China still lacked...

A majority of voters believe President Biden should resign over his administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Wednesday found. The survey asked respondents, “Should President Joe Biden resign because of the way the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was handled?” Overall, a majority, or 52 percent, said “yes,” Biden should resign, while 39 percent said he should not. Opinions over Biden resigning are sharply divided along party lines, as three-quarters of Republicans say he should — a sentiment held by nearly one-third of Democrats, 32 percent, and a plurality of independents, 48 percent

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Secret Service is investigating what they’ve deemed a credible threat against President Joe Biden’s life. Yesterday, while Biden was out getting ice cream, a figure in a black cloak holding a scythe appeared and pointed a finger at Biden while saying, “Your time is near.” “We’ve identified the individual as the Grim Reaper,” said Mitchell Armstrong, a spokesman for the Secret Service. “He’s apparently motivated by the fact that the president is super-duper old and feeble.” Handling the threat won’t be easy, as apparently, the Grim Reaper is supernatural, and normal walls won’t stop him. “We’re in the...

A US Marine Corps veteran who was relieved of his command for chastising his bosses over the botched Afghan withdrawal has decided to call it quits. Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, who came under fire after the bombastic Facebook post last week, said on YouTube Sunday that he's sticking by his guns and resigning his commission -- walking away from a $2 million pension after 17 years of military service. "I could stay in the Marine Corps for another three years, but I don't think that's the path I'm on," Scheller said. "I'm resigning my commission as a United States Marine...

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is asking those not vaccinated against COVID-19 to refrain from traveling during Labor Day weekend. “First and foremost, if you are unvaccinated, we would recommend not traveling,” CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said during the White House COVID-19 Response Team Briefing on Tuesday. Data from Johns Hopkins University found that the U.S. is surpassing an average of 160,000 new cases a day, CNN reported. Walensky also warned that all people need to consider the risks before traveling. Many people are still expected to travel for the long weekend. “As summer comes to...

As night began to fall on 31 August, 1939, a small, hand-picked team of SS troops crept into the then German city of Gleiwitz. Disguised as Polish saboteurs, their mission was to launch an attack on the city's main radio station to give Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler a justification for invading Poland. It was part of what was codenamed Operation Himmler - the false flag attacks carried out by the Fuhrer's military intelligence service the Abwehr, along with the feared SS and the Gestapo to give the impression of Polish aggression towards Germany. Entering through the back door, they locked...
