Real vaccines that are safe and work effectively are very difficult to create—and it takes many years to test them for all types of individuals with all types of medical conditions...and then to check and double check and triple check with independent evaluations...and to follow up to make sure there are no long-term negative effects...
Real science is a whole different ball game than the “fake science” being pushed these days.
The little I know about that goal to create an HIV vaccine, is that the virus is constantly mutating.
Some variations have formed as reactions to certain medications.
It has become a game of Whack A Mole.
Some kids are born with this wicked virus, result of Mom being a druggie.
If this is known early, the child can usually be helped with medication, but they will never be fully rid of the virus, based on capabilities of today.
WuhanFlu vax is based on mRNA, totally new approach. Which is precisely why it is not a vaccine.
They should have gone for mRNA, this is a perfect application.
Because HIV is an unorthodox infection. It infects the immune system, more specifically, helper T cells the very part of the immune system needed to sound the alarm, and trigger the response, with an infection that takes out the immune system, you have better luck taking suppressing drugs and hope the virus hasn’t adapted to the drugs.
Yep, it mutates MUCH more readily than other viruses. It's a slippery eel. And the sodomites insist on creating a Petri-dish culture, encouraging the virus to mutate more than it otherwise would.
I suspect they don’t really know what the HIV virus is, which is why it is so hard to figure out how tomstop it with a vaccine.
Apparently, the HIV vaccine that failed in this trial used traditional vaccine technology. Moderna recently announced a new trial with an mRNA-type vaccine:

HIV has been resistant to all previous vaccines because it integrates itself into the genome too quickly for an adequate antibody response to occur. I have no idea if the mRNA-type vaccine will be more successful against HIV.
