Some progressives are cheering on an Alabama doctor who said going forward he will refuse to treat patients who aren’t vaccinated against COVID-19. Dr. Jason Valentine, a physician at Mobile’s Diagnostic and Medical Clinic Infirmary Health, recently shared he will no longer see patients who aren’t vaccinated against the coronavirus beginning Oct. 1. Valentine said people have no excuse not to be vaccinated against the virus and he doesn’t want to watch people die from it, AL.com reported Tuesday. “If they asked why, I told them COVID is a miserable way to die and I can’t watch them die like...

I have been reading about the cluster-foxtrot that Biden has allowed in Afghanistan and that the government is considering requesting that commercial airliners be pressed into service to rescue trapped US citizens and I thought to myself, what would be a better way to show how to lead than for Trump to send his personal jet to Kabul to rescue a planeload of Americans? He could have the crew shuttle them to a safe airport and go back after a couple of loads. What do Freepers think of this idea?

BE KIND TO STRANGERS Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood — being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. — Hebrews 13:2 A clique is an exclusive group, one to which not everyone is welcome. Being "in" makes us feel important, but being "out" can be very painful. I find that even the church is full of cliques. As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, you and I are instructed in the...

Less than three months ago, the Centers for Disease Control published a mostly-ignored, large-scale study of Covid-19 transmission in US schools which concluded that while masking then-unvaccinated teachers and improving ventilation was associated with lower levels of virus transmission in schools – social distancing, classroom barriers, HEPA filters, and forcing students to wear masks did not result in a statistically significant benefit. “That a masking requirement of students failed to show independent benefit is a finding of consequence and great interest,” according to Vinay Prasad, an associate professor in University of California, San Francisco’s Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. “It...

Stephen K. Bannon called on former President Donald Trump to begin putting together “a more formal body… what the British call a ‘shadow government’,” … to counter “this illegitimate regime from destroying the country as they spin out of control,” on Saturday’s edition of War Room. Here is a transcript of his comments from the Tennesee Star:

Phil was a great radio host. He originally expressed concern about the vaccines, but toward the end regretted that he was not more explicitly pro-vax. Unfortunately he tried a bunch of the stuff that doesn't work (Ivermectin, Vitamin D, etc.) which . . . didn't work. Phil Valentine was 61 years old.

The last Jewish resident of Afghanistan will be staying put, according to multiple people involved in an international effort to rescue him. Zebulon Simantov, 62, has lived in the country all his life and currently resides in the capital of Kabul where he lives in what remains of the country’s last synagogue. He originally hails from the western city of Herat and previously worked as a restaurant owner and carpet dealer, according to past media reports. SNIP Simantov became the country’s last Jew after the death of Yitzhak Levy in 2005. Though they both lived in the same run-down synagogue,...

I believe that Tucker Carlson is perhaps the most important news and culture commentator in America today, both because of his massive reach at Fox News (he’s one of the few reasons to tune in to the “new” Fox), and because of his incisive commentary. I caught last night’s interview with investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald, who is a man of the Left, who nevertheless comes across as an honest man. Prior to the interview, Tucker discussed how Biden’s officials and the media are turning on him in the face of the Afghanistan fiasco (I dealt with this subject in yesterday’s...

Numerous members of the British Parliament slammed President Joe Biden this week in response to the catastrophe the president created in Afghanistan with his disastrous pullout and handling of the situation. The remarks came on Wednesday from members in the House of Lords, which is one of the two chambers in the British Parliament. Members blamed Biden for the situation and shamed him for trying to cast blame on others, including the Afghan military. Many of the members said that America’s image was seriously damaged around the world and the West could suffer greatly in the years to come because...

IDF Spokesman: Fighter jets attacked four Hamas terrorist storage sites last night. The extensive attack was carried out in response to riots that took place in the northern Gaza Strip, during which shots were fired from the Gaza Strip, from which a border fighter was wounded. Hamas continues to lead the Gaza Strip into a policy of terrorism while exploiting the civilian population. The IDF will continue to respond strongly to terrorist attempts from the Gaza Strip and considers the Hamas terrorist organization to be responsible for everything that happens in the Gaza Strip. In accordance with the situation assessments,...

KABUL, Afghanistan — Scenes of chaos and calamity continue to unfold in and around Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, as thousands of embattled Afghans purport to push through Taliban barricades and escape the country before the Taliban takes full power. In the latest blow to those running up against the clock, Afghan-Americans on Thursday said that Taliban fighters are now attempting to take their U.S. passports and identification orders in an attempt to stop them from leaving the country. “I got to the gates and was about to show my passport, but the Taliban got it, and he said...

Col. Richard Kemp, CBE, joined Mark Levin on ‘Life, Liberty & Levin’ this week following fall of Afghanistan. Colonel Kemp in an earlier interview on GBNews said, “From the moment President Biden ‘made that decision to withdraw without any regard for the security situation in Afghanistan… this situation was absolutely inevitable.”... During his interview with Mark Levin Col. Kemp said the fall of Afghanistan has devastating effects on NATO. .... He’s the Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces who has just essentially surrendered to the Taliban. He shouldn’t be impeached. He should be court-martialed for betraying the United...

The Associated Press is urging Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to step in after it reported that his press secretary's conduct resulted in an AP reporter receiving threats and other abuse online, according to the AP. AP CEO Daisy Veerasingham wrote to DeSantis on Friday asking him to take action against aide Christina Pushaw's "harassing behavior," the news organization reported. Twitter recently suspended Pushaw's account for violating rules on "abusive behavior" due to her conduct toward reporter Brendan Farrington, the AP noted. "You will ban the press secretary of a democratically-elected official while allowing the Taliban to live tweet their...

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said people who are severely vulnerable or immunocompromised — including solid organ transplant patients, people with advanced HIV and certain cancer patients — should try to get a booster shot as soon as they can. But for people without severe immunocompromising conditions, getting a third dose soon after a second might actually be counterproductive, according to some public health experts. In an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell this week, Dr. Anthony Fauci said people would be wise to give their immune systems a chance to “mature” before rushing to get a booster....

Pups of the greater sac-winged bat develop their vocal skills by babbling in a similar way to human babies — a discovery that could help researchers to explore the underlying neuroscience of how mammals learn to communicate with one another. “Even though there are millions of years of different evolutionary pathways between bats and humans, it’s astonishing to see such a similar vocal practice behaviour leading to the same result — acquiring a large vocal repertoire,” says Ahana Fernandez, an animal behavioural ecologist at the Berlin Museum of Natural History and a co-author of the study, which was published on...

Alan West, Republican for Governor in Texas, shared a video last night where he is enraged that his wife was arrested for what he believes were false charges. Alan West shared a video from a Dallas police station last night where he claimed his wife was being housed after being arrested for driving while intoxicated. But West claims that observers did not see her drink alcohol and she did not fail an intoxication test when pulled over. Watch:
