Stephen K. Bannon called on former President Donald Trump to begin putting together “a more formal body… what the British call a ‘shadow government’,” … to counter “this illegitimate regime from destroying the country as they spin out of control,” on Saturday’s edition of War Room.
Here is a transcript of his comments from the Tennesee Star:

There is no such thing, in Constitutional terms as “shadow government”.
No.
But i am probably in the minority
Elected officials own this debacle..as does The Cabinet
Definitely! The US is a crumbling, chaotic MESS!
True..but we have a shadow govt right now. We just dont know who it is.
How does that work? Who that works in D.C. is going to follow a private citizen’s orders?
That, exactly that. Many of us think Susan Rice, Obama, and ValJar, and who knows behind them. But it needs to be revealed to the American people.
Xi?
No, and Bannon is an idiot for even suggesting it.
Trump never conceded. So there’s that.
Elected officials own this debacle..as does The Cabinet

But what if they weren’t legitimately elected? What then?
Somebody supported this stupid son of a bitch Biden.
The entire idea is ludicrous. It’s a Democrat administration,
no Republican is going to order them around from the shadows.
It is a regime in the true sense of the word. Its a cabal of rulers who don’t abide by rules.
What a dumb premise. We might get Kamala but that’s the extent of it.
Is Bannon retarded?
The only thing I can think of is enlisting ex special forces and maybe some current special forces. Snipers.
And large rotating crowds in the tens of thousands of armed citizens?
no Republican is going to order them around from the shadows
***********
Even if they could, they wouldn’t. The GOP is weak and feckless. They don’t want to lead.
If enough patriots in our military who haven’t been purged would just stage a coup,......
A guy can dream, can’t he?
I agree with Bannon. I’ll go farther and say that I think that might be happening now behind the scenes.
There is no law that says Trump can’t have already decided upon who will be in his returning cabinet, if he has one. For Sec. State... Pompeo. Defense... ? AG... Guliani? Even start paying them to get read for a quick transition and a rough ride. But... what about the Constitution? Planning is unconstitutional?
