An abortion activist is trying to demonstrate what an abortion by pill is really like. But her efforts are misleading – at best. To show women that abortion “doesn’t necessarily need to be a huge deal,” Amelia Bonow, the cofounder of Shout Your Abortion, recently swallowed abortion pills on camera. In a two-part video series, Bonow ordered the pills online and walked through the process of taking them – by taking them herself. But it was unrealistic for at least two reasons: Bonow wasn’t pregnant and she didn’t film what happened after she swallowed the pills. Bonow’s organization, Shout Your...

You can feel the cold terror of the Dems as Ron DoomSantis strides across the American political stage laying waste to the puny mortals nipping at his ankles, President Asterisk among them. The doddering old pervert might have thought he was cunning when asked by a reporter about the Lord Humungous of Florida by asking back “Governor Who?” Of course, the question became whether or not that mush-junkie Matlock superfan was trying to high-hat the competition or whether he really had no idea who the reporter was talking about when DeSantis riposted, “I’m not surprised that Biden doesn’t remember me...

Capitalism, with all its warts and pimples, is the way people organize themselves of their own volition. It is economic freedom. Socialism and its children – communism and fascism -- can only be foisted on a population through tyrannical coercion and brute force. Dean Koontz, in Icebound, summed up communism, writing, This was senseless, pointless lunacy…but nothing the communists had ever done made sense, not anywhere in the world.…Their ideology was nothing but a mad hunger for unrestrained power, politics as a cult religion divorced from morality and reason and their bloody rampages and bottomless cruelty could never be analyzed...

The Biden family's lucrative financial relationships with the Chinese are undeniable, but now it appears that the Renaissance man, Hunter Biden, toast of the art world, has even taken a leaf from the Deng Xioaping playbook on graft. In the 1980s, Deng Xiaoping was the chief foreign and domestic policy maker and paramount leader of the Chinese Communist Party. He held sway well into the 1990s. Deng's secret sauce was a ladleful of authoritarian communism with a dash of capitalism shaken in by privileged gang members. Deng's own family set the example, with his kids educated in the ritziest schools...

If you don’t think vaccines are one of the great achievements of Western Civilization, just take a walk through a 19th-century cemetery and witness the reality of the human condition before them. However, the COVID vaccine is not a traditional vaccine. It is, instead, a huge experiment that can have major negative consequences and that our institutions are nevertheless trying to make mandatory. In the pre-ethicist days of 1796, Edwin Jenner inoculated 8-year-old James Phipps with cowpox on his hunch that milkmaids seldom suffered the scourge of smallpox that had plagued man since antiquity. Later he inoculated the boy with...

Nearly two dozen Democratic lawmakers sued Gov. Greg Abbott and other state GOP leaders – claiming efforts to bring them back to Austin for a special session violated their rights. The 22 members of the Texas House, who’d skipped town to avoid a vote on a controversial election reform bill, claim the Saturday special session infringed on their constitutional rights to free speech. Abbott called for the arrest of more than 50 Democrats that flew to Washington, DC, to block the passage of a bill that they said would restrict access to the polls, according to The Texas Tribune.

Aug 6 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N) was suspended from advocacy group Climate Leadership Council (CLC) that looks to make policies to address climate change, the CLC said on Friday. Exxon was a founding member of the group .... The non-profit organization World Resources Institute (WRI), a CLC member, said Exxon was not aligned with the council's push to put a price on carbon as a key response to the climate crisis. "We welcome CLC's separation from Exxon," the institute's CEO, Ani Dasgupta, said in a note, while calling on companies to support a price on carbon in any...

Nancy Pelosi attended church on Sunday morning on Martha's Vineyard, telling those outside that she did not attend Barack Obama's 60th birthday celebrations the night before because she had other engagements. Pelosi was seen leaving St. Elizabeth's Church in Edgartown, where she had sat in the back row during the service. On leaving church well-wishers asked her for photographs, and the Speaker of the House smilingly obliged.

... Josephus Flavius was a former leader of the Jewish revolt...As an eyewitness to the destruction of Jerusalem, Josephus give us a startling window into a series of seven signs which God sent to the people of Jerusalem prior to their ultimate destruction in AD 70. The seven signs 1. A Sword in the Sky "So it was when a star resembling a sword, stood over the city of Jerusalem and a comet which continued for a year" this is linked to Matthew 24:30 Then there will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven... 2. A Bright...

Canadian marijuana manufacturers are sitting on 1.1 billion grams (2.4 million pounds) of the drug that they can't sell as the country's legalized weed industry runs out of puff. Last October, Canadian cannabis firms had around 1.1 billion grams of harvested or processed cannabis sitting in storage. Around 95 per cent of that weed is considered ‘largely unsaleable’ because it has been spoiled by time, and because there's just too much existing supply to try and sell it. The low quality of the products as well as the slow process by which the provinces allowed for licensed stores to sell...

Joe Rogan blasted so-called ‘vaccine passports’ saying that requiring Americans to show proof of vaccination in order to gain entry into restaurants, airplanes, bars, and sporting events moves the country ‘one step closer’ to dictatorship. Rogan, whose podcast The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most listened to on the internet, told his listeners on Friday that ‘the problem with applauding vaccine passports’ is that politicians ‘are not going to give that power up.’ His comments, which were broadcast on the Spotify streaming service, were praised by Donald Trump Jr, the former president’s eldest son, who tweeted: ‘Joe Rogan...

.. But we are living in a special and peculiar time, the "Day of Jehovah", in which matters culminate quickly; and it is written "A short work will the Lord make upon the earth" (See Vol 1. chap xv.) For the past eleven years these things have been preached and published substantially as set forth above; an in that brief time the development of influences and agencies for the undermining and overthrow of the strongest empires of earth has been wonderful. In that time Communism, Socialism and Nihilism sprang into vigorous existence, and already are causing great uneasiness among the...

President Biden has had little trouble getting even his most controversial nominees confirmed. Democrats, including Montana Senator Jon Tester, have all voted in unison. Only Neera Tanden, Biden’s pick to head his budget office, faced bipartisan opposition. But with David Chipman’s nomination to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) possibly being determined by a single vote, Senator Tester continues to refuse to say how he will vote. Chipman, like Biden’s judicial nominees, is a radical gun control supporter. Yet, Tester appears to not wanting to upset national Democrats and is waiting until his vote no longer...

Over 1,500 rabbis say ADL 'no longer competent' to identify, let alone combat, anti-Semitism. 'Only someone with no sense of Jewish history could claim BDS isn't anti-Semitic.' The Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV) took renewed aim at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Tuesday, after the ADL announced a partnership with Hillel International, the Jewish college organization, to document anti-Semitism on American campuses. While such an effort is noble and worthwhile, the ADL, CJV pointed out, demonstrated that it lacks the moral clarity to properly identify anti-Semitism, let alone combat it. An ADL spokesperson, describing the new initiative, wrongly claimed that,...

It took until the final few medal events of the Tokyo Olympics, but the United States pushed ahead of China to close the 2020 Games as the big winners. The U.S. took home more gold medals than any other country (39) as well as more total medals than any other country (113). USA and China were locked at 38 golds apiece with only a few final medals to be decided. It was the U.S. women's volleyball team that earned the Games' decisive gold with a clean, three-set sweep over Brazil. Team USA rounded out its haul with 41 silver medals...
