Gov. Greg Abbott is ruling out another mask mandate, despite a rising number of COVID-19 cases in Texas and around the country.“There will be no mask mandate imposed, and the reasons for that are very clear,” Abbott said Tuesday in an interview with Houston’s KPRC 2 News. He noted that many Texans have immunity to the virus through vaccinations or their own recovery from the illness.“It would be inappropriate to require people who already have immunity to wear a mask,” he added. snipThe governor instituted a mask mandate in July 2020 as COVID cases skyrocketed in Texas. He rescinded the...

SNIPDuring their conversation this morning Senator Johnson also reported on the failings of the COVID vaccines.Senator Ron Johnson: The American people deserve the truth. Really, the people of the world deserve the truth on this and unfortunately because of the cabal between social media, mainstream media, and our federal health agencies and big government, we’re not getting the truth. The truth has been covered up for months whether we’re talking about gain-of-function research, whether we’re talking about the effectiveness of early treatment. I can’t explain all of this Maria, all I know is something has gone off the rails here....

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A mask recommendation has been issued in Philadelphia as COVID-19 Delta variant cases continue to rise. City health officials are strongly recommending that everyone, including fully vaccinated people, wear masks in all public indoor places to help stop the spread of the Delta variant. [cut] “We are seeing a small but disturbing increase in hospitalizations due to COVID-19 among children in Philadelphia, along with more than a doubling of cases in the city,” Acting Health Commissioner Dr. Cheryl Bettigole said. “It’s time for all of us to do what we need to do to protect our city’s...

In a situation reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s infamous private email server scandal, President Biden has been caught using a personal email account to send sensitive government information to his crack-addicted son Hunter Biden. Messages, sometimes signed “Dad,” from the email account robinware456@gmail.com were found on a Hunter Biden laptop seized by the FBI in December 2019. Worryingly, many of the messages from the then-vice president to his son clearly addressed business matters, with Joe forwarding information from senior officials in the White House, the State Department and other government agencies. For instance, in late November 2014 the U.S. embassy in...

Editor’s Commentary: One of the things that makes Dr. Joseph Mercola and independent journalist Whitney Webb so special is their willingness to speak the truth at great personal cost. But if there’s one complaint, it’s that they often “bury the lede” and leave the readers or viewers to connect the dots. Some of this is due to politeness, but it’s mostly due to concerns over censorship, cancel culture, and financial repercussions. ========================================================================================= Perhaps I’m just a glutton for censorship but I’ll come right out and say what most of you already know. Google is an evil company comprised of a...

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has stopped counting every infection among people fully immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine who later tested positive for the virus. So-called 'breakthrough cases' occur when people contract coronavirus at least 14 days after receiving their final dose of the vaccine. As of April 26, 9,245 Americans out of more than 95 million fell ill with COVID-19 after being vaccinated, about 0.009 percent. However, at the beginning of May, the CDC revealed it will no longer report all breakthroughs and instead only those that lead to hospitalization or death, as first reported by...

FEAST OF SAINT MARY MAGDALENE JOHN 20:1-2, 11-18 Friends, today we celebrate the Feast of St. Mary Magdalene, the first witness of Christ’s rising, who declared the Resurrection to the Apostles. In point of fact, the Easter declaration, properly understood, has always been and still is an explosion, an earthquake, a revolution. For the Easter faith is that Jesus of Nazareth, who had been brutally put to death by the Roman authorities, is alive again through the power of the Holy Spirit—and not in some metaphorical sense. That the Resurrection is a literary device or a symbol that Jesus’ cause...

Phil Murphy (D) announced Monday that vaccines in New Jersey were proving to be 99.9 percent effective in the Garden State, reporting 84 breakthrough hospitalizations and 31 deaths among the vaccinated. But this week, a state health official confirmed that 49 people who were fully vaccinated have died of the virus as of July 12. More than half of those had underlying health conditions, Donna Leusner, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Health, told NJ.com. It remains...

MOSCOW, July 22 (Reuters) - The Gamma variant of the novel coronavirus, first found in Brazil, has been detected in small quantities in Russia, the Interfax news agency cited the developer behind Russia's EpiVacCorona vaccine as saying on Thursday. Russia faces a surge in coronavirus cases that authorities have blamed on the Delta variant and the slow rate of vaccinations. On Thursday, Russia reported 24,471 new COVID-19 cases and 796 deaths related to coronavirus in the last 24 hours. EpiVacCorona, Russia's second of four vaccines to be registered, was developed by the Vector Institute in Siberia. Sputnik V is Russia's...

Silicon Valley runs on Asians. This is a well-known aspect of the tech world in general, but it’s especially apparent in elite sub-sectors. Even by 2010, Asian Americans already had become a majority (50.1 percent) of all tech workers in the Bay Area: software engineers, data engineers, programmers, systems analysts, admins, and developers. Census Bureau statistics from the same year put white tech workers at 40.1 percent. Other races made up, in total, slightly less than 10 percent. I interviewed a Facebook product manager fresh out of university. He interacts daily with teams of software engineers at Facebook, coordinating and...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Thursday said the Jan. 6 committee will continue to seek the truth about the cause of the deadly Capitol attack despite GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy pulling all his Republican members from serving on the panel. "It's my responsibility as Speaker of the House to make sure we get to the truth on this, and we will not let their antics stand in the way of that," Pelosi said Thursday during a news conference at the Capitol. Pelosi on Wednesday blocked two of McCarthy's five appointments from serving on the committee – Reps. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio,...

A number of press outlets have reported recently that the Pentagon is working with a private contractor to monitor the internet searches of Department of Defense personnel. Certain searches are apparently now considered signs of domestic violent extremism. (Insert here) AnTheFacts @AnTheFacts It all circles back to Obama!! Pentagon contractor investigating 'extremism' says BLM web search raises concerns about White supremacy.. MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, a staunch ally of former President Donald Trump and leading promoter of voter-fraud conspiracy theories, said he'd give $5 million to anyone who can disprove data that he claims shows election interference. But there's a catch. To be eligible, you have to attend his upcoming cyber symposium, which is taking place in South Dakota between August 10 and 12. And the event isn't open to the public,

An Ohio man federal prosecutors say is an "incel" was charged in federal court this week with attempting a hate crime for his plot to kill women. Tres Genco, 21, was arrested Wednesday and is also facing charges related to illegally possessing a machine gun, according to the Justice Department. Prosecutors say Genco identified as an incel or an "involuntary celibate," a community of mostly men who harbor anger toward women who they believe owe them sexual or romantic attention. Some incels seek to commit violence to support this belief. Genco's indictment includes startling detail of the months-long efforts prosecutors...

It’s not just you, it’s Steam, PlayStation, Disney, GoDaddy, Amazon, UPS, LastPass, and a whole bunch of other websites that are out-of-commission right this minute. One part of the problem appears to be an issue with the content distribution network (CDN) Akamai. Tracking for the service suggests that they’re experiencing an “emerging issue with the Edge DNS service.”
