Luke 15 records three Parables of Redemption which Jesus told. We looked at The Lost Sheep and The Lost Coin, and now this is our third of four days on The Lost Son—The Prodigal. We saw him claim his inheritance and then squander it all on old-fashioned debauchery; then, he became desperate while caring for swine. PARABLE OF THE PRODIGAL SON — AND HIS BROTHER . What he's saying: Hannity said earlier this year he was "beginning to have doubts" about whether he would take a vaccine. But on Monday night, he told "Hannity" viewers, "I believe in science, I believe in the science of vaccination." "I can't say it enough. Enough people have died. We don't need any more deaths," Hannity said. Of note: Fox New hosts Steve Doocy and Bill Hemmer also urged people on Monday to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, the Hill notes.

Sen. Lindsey Graham accused Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Monday of trying to thwart ongoing negotiations over a bipartisan infrastructure bill by scheduling an initial test vote before the measure’s text has been finalized. “We’re not going to proceed to a bill that’s not written, because that makes no sense,” Graham (R-SC) told Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.” Earlier Monday, Schumer (D-NY) filed cloture on a motion to proceed to debate on the $1.2 trillion package, the details of which are still being hammered out by a group of senators from both parties. One of the lead negotiators, Sen....

Joe Biden’s Misery Index Rises Highlights in this week of continuing political disappointment. This column is becoming a weekly checklist on the descent of American public policy and attitudes further into the depths of frivolity, chaos, and national self-dislike. I was honored to make a small contribution last week to the edition of this website celebrating its fifth anniversary. In the editors’ statement on that anniversary, they renewed their hostility to the ineptitude and moral decrepitude of the bipartisan ruling class, their “opposition to the unaccountable administrative state,” their dislike of an American oligarchy, particularly the “Big Tech monopoly to...

On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “AC360,” Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy stated that, even if you’re vaccinated, if you live in an area with high infection numbers and have children too young to be vaccinated, “wearing a mask, especially in indoor settings when you go out, is the right thing to do” even though the risk of transmission is small. And that localities with rising cases “should strongly consider” reinstituting masks. Murthy said, “I know that, if you’re fully vaccinated, like you and I are, our risk of both getting sick and transmitting it to our children is low. But...

White House/Silicon Valley – -(AmmoLand.com)- In the course of White House press briefings, Second Amendment supporters got good news, but they also found themselves facing a much greater short-term danger. The good news is that Jen Psaki probably handed enough evidence to prove that Silicon Valley has been acting as a proxy for the federal government to pretty much ensure former President Trump will win his court case. The bad news is that Surgeon General Vivek Murthy has upped the ante over the short term by claiming that “misinformation” about COVID-19 is “an imminent and insidious threat to our nation’s health.”...

Climate alarmists have a problem presenting a consistent narrative on the dangers supposed human-caused climate change poses. Instead, they follow Lewis Carroll’s irrepressible and violent Red Queen down the climate change rabbit hole, as when in response to Alice’s statement that “one can't believe impossible things,” she proudly proclaimed, “I daresay you haven't had much practice. When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” Replace the word “impossible” with “contradictory” and you’ll get my point. Over the past two decades, the mainstream...

Biden Regime Jails a ‘Domestic Terrorist’ It’s clear the Biden regime, in cooperation with federal judges, will stop at nothing to destroy the lives of people who protested the 2020 presidential election.“Paul Hodgkins is not my enemy.”Fighting back tears, Patrick Leduc, an attorney representing a man charged in connection with the January 6 protest at the Capitol, made that statement in a dramatic court hearing Monday morning. Leduc, by the way, is no snowflake. On Tuesday, the 33-year-old U.S. Army reservist will be deployed to the Middle East for his third tour.Leduc cited his military oath—to protect the country from...

Geologist Dr. Roger Higgs (DPhil, Oxford, Geology, of geoclastica.com) has just released a new takedown of the anthropogenic global warming scam. Below is a summation of his findings–which you can find in full over at ResearchGate (Technical Note 2021-5).In what Dr Higgs calls yet another manipulation of the data, in early 2021, NASA discreetly lowered the 2016 global average temperature –previously the highest on record– to make the year 2020 seem like the hottest.NASA play these ‘games of adjustment’ all the time, and each and every time, without fail, their tweaks support the man-made global warming narrative.Below are copies of...

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem Psalm 119ל Lamedh 89 Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. 90 Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. 91 Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. 92 If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. 93 I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life. 94 Save me, for I am yours; I have sought out your precepts. 95 The wicked are waiting to destroy me, but...

In the aftermath of George Floyd's death in 2020, Black Lives Matter, antifa and other Marxist organizations demanded law enforcement agencies be defunded. In an astonishing display of progressive Democrat solidarity, scores of mayors, city councils and county boards of supervisors in cities and counties across our country capitulated to the far left's demands and sided with rioters, looters, anarchists and arsonists in destroying American cities. The places most affected by the "defund the police" movement include Chicago, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, New York and Minneapolis. As law enforcement budgets in these cities were being cut and experienced...

The Lord drove back the sea with a strong easterly wind all night, and he made dry land of the sea. The waters parted and the sons of Israel went on dry ground right into the sea, walls of water to right and to left of them. The Egyptians gave chase: after them they went, right into the sea, all Pharaoh’s horses, his...

Amazon Web Services delivers almost all filmed media in the United States to your screen of choice. How are they leveraging that power? When Amazon announced that it would buy mini-major movie studio MGM in an $8.45 billion deal, I surmised that the real goal here was to raise the cost of acquiring filmed entertainment for its competitors, making Amazon’s bundled Prime Video option look more attractive. I also nodded to the fact that Amazon is a competitor in streaming video and theatrical movie production, while also being a distribution network for streamers. Amazon also sells other streaming services through...

Saturday, 7-17-2021, at 9 a.m., thieves stole a 1 ton truck from my friend's oilfield service business east of Austin, TX. My friend was home and did not notice the brazen theft right under his nose. He noticed Monday morning when his crews needed the truck for work. The GPS unit hidden in the truck allowed him to find it in Austin where it had been stripped of all equipment/tools on the bed and left near a homeless encampment. The police were not eager to enter that area according to my friend. He was only able to recover what was...

Starbucks cups, bottled water, leases, rental units: All these things are disposable, and that’s the new capitalist way. It’s the new consumerist way: own nothing and conserve nothing. Norwalk, Connecticut is a small, seaside city 30 miles northeast of New York. It’s a fun town for young people, the home to the No. 1 TikTok star, Charli D’Amelio, and the home of the Blue Cactus Grill, a popular little spot that’s been flipping burgers and hawking cheesesteaks for over a decade. A few years ago, owner Vic Amereno turned its success into an expansion, emptying his savings to open a...

MADISON - Republican lawmakers are introducing new legislation that would decrease restrictions on firearms in Wisconsin by lowering the age to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon to 18 and allowing permit holders to have guns in vehicles on school grounds. Both bills being circulated by Republican lawmakers for sponsorship in the state Legislature in recent weeks have been proposed before and likely will face hurdles under Gov. Tony Evers, who has said he supports the law as it's currently written. Rep. Shae Sortwell, R-Two Rivers, said in an interview the bill to lower the age to obtain...

Millions of unused Covid-19 vaccines are set to go to waste as demand dwindles across the United States and doses likely expire this summer, according to public health officials. Several state health departments told STAT they have repeatedly asked the federal government to redistribute their supply to other countries, many of which are facing a third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Officials in Washington have rejected those requests, citing legal and logistical challenges. “We’re drowning in this stuff,” said Robert Ator, a retired colonel in the Arkansas Air National Guard who is leading that state’s Covid-19 vaccine distribution drive. “It’s...

Article IV of the Constitution addresses the obligations of the federal government to the state governments that were being asked to surrender aspects of their sovereignty to form our new Union. "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government," reads Article IV, "and shall protect each of them against Invasion." Late in the War of 1812, U.S. forces held Fort McHenry in Baltimore Harbor through a nightlong attack but failed to stop an invading British army at Bladensburg, which marched on to Washington and burned the Capitol and White House. To repel...
