WHAT WAS CLAIMED The spike protein generated by a Covid-19 vaccine can leave the site of injection and enter the bloodstream, which could possibly be causing deaths and vaccine injuries. OUR VERDICT There is some evidence that the spike proteins generated by the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine leave the site of injection. There is also evidence that the spike protein on the actual virus can damage cells that line blood vessels. However, the two different spike proteins behave very differently in the body, and so the assumption that spike proteins generated by the vaccine could also harm cells in the bloodstream...

A prestigious global research institute based in France has published a preclinical study in EMBO Molecular Medicine revealing that ivermectin is associated with a reduction in COVID-19 symptoms. Yet even after dozens of studies showcasing such results in real-world scenarios, the World Health Organization (WHO) has yet to embrace the opportunity of the drug for low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). Institut Pasteur’s Jean-Pierre Changeux suggests the drug acts on the nicotinic receptor, leading to what undoubtedly will fuel an interesting debate on the topic. In a comprehensive preclinical study involving hamsters, the study team concluded that ivermectin represents a powerful immunomodulatory...

Researchers at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) have developed a novel method for producing new antibiotics to combat resistant bacteria. Through an approach that would target bacteria with an antibiotic that is masked by a prodrug, which the bacteria would themselves remove, the researchers identified a method that would allow for development of new, effective antibiotics that could overcome issues of resistance. The findings were published today in eLife. "We've created a sort of 'Trojan Horse' that would allow antibiotics to reach desired tissues undisturbed, until the bacteria itself activates the drug, effectively releasing an 'army' of antibiotics," said senior...

. Once CTU members are elected to leading positions on the new board, the CTU will plot his own political course and instead of navigating in a direction which is most advantageous for Chicago pupils, the CTU will pursue its long-sought wish list. Armed with its newfound power, with bullheaded determination the CTU will dismantle charter schools, poison students’ mind by blithely approving new, warped curriculum, disregard classrooms led by educators who distill politics with scholarship, teach apologetics, and are intolerant of alternative views. Worse, the CTU will abuse its position on an elected board to augment teacher pay and...

Bishops Weigh Next Steps on Traditional Latin Mass While Others Fear Further DivisionArchbishop Cordileone of San Francisco celebrates the ‘Mass of the Americas’ using the extraordinary form of the Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception Pope Francis’ motu proprio Traditionis Custodes has restricted celebration of the traditional Latin Mass in a way that some fear could cause more division, despite the Pope’s stated aim to achieve greater unity within the Church and curb what he calls “divisive tendencies” among those attached to the older form of the Mass. Concerns raised with Traditionis Custodes...

On a sweltering June morning, Novavax CEO and COVID vaccine maker Stanley Erck stood on a stage unmasked and did something that would have been unthinkable six months ago: He shook hands with Maryland’s governor. Erck was with Gov. Larry Hogan to announce Novavax’s global vaccine headquarters ― a Gaithersburg campus expected to house laboratories and more than 800 employees. Hogan called Novavax’s future “bright” and crowed that more than 71% of the state’s adults had received at least one shot. None of those was a Novavax vaccine, which remains unavailable for the American public due to delayed clinical trial...

The principle underlying dynamical ptychography One of the topics investigated in recent physics studies is strong-field quantum electrodynamics (SF-QED). So far, this area has rarely been explored before, mainly because the experimental observation of SF-QED processes would require extremely high light intensities (>1025W/cm2), over three orders of magnitude higher than those attained using the most intense PetaWatt (PW)-class lasers available today.A SF-QED process that has proved to be particularly difficult to observe is the Schwinger process. This is a process that occurs close to the so-called Schwinger limit (1029/cm2), which is associated with the optical breakdown of the quantum...

According to Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary, “Prototype” can have four similar meanings: an original model on which something is patterned : ARCHETYPEan individual that exhibits the essential features of a later typea standard or typical examplea first full-scale and usually functional form of a new type or design of a construction (such as an airplane) The word in science is normally used to refer to the first working variation of something that has been constructed. This is why it’s so interesting that Anthony Fauci invoked the word when referring to the original versions of Covid-19 that launched the pandemic. Listen closely during...

This is just incredible…. jaw dropping. Circuit Attorney Kimberly M Gardner is the same prosecutor filing charges against the McCloskeys for defending their home in Saint Louis. Incredibly her office was charging a previously convicted felon with first-degree murder, and the prosecutor assigned to the case took maternity leave leaving no-one to show up in court. After three missed court hearings by prosecutors, the judge was forced to drop a murder case because no-one other than the defense, a public defender, was showing up in court. This is a jaw-dropping example of a prosecutors office is a state of horrible...

On Monday’s “PBS NewsHour,” White House Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said that fully vaccinated people might want to wear a mask in areas with low vaccination “For a number of reasons, to protect yourself, but particularly, for example, if you have, at home, in your own home, vulnerable people, like the elderly or people who have underlying conditions, you might want to make sure you take that extra step of protection.” And “That’s what’s going on in Los Angeles. They want to go the extra mile to show that you can protect yourself more, even if you are...
