Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked on Monday vowed to take action against Ben & Jerry's following the company's decision Israeli towns in Judea and Samaria.

"It is not the Ben & Jerry's Israeli franchisee who should be punished. On the contrary, he should be rewarded for his determination and proud and true Zionism." Shaked wrote in a post on Facebook.

Ben and Jerry's wants to boycott the parts of Israel called the "occupied territories". The earliest they can carry it out would be 2023 because of the current franchise agreement.

Ben and Jerry’s is owned by Unilever...a multinational, based in London. They are expanding into muslim countries. Look up their website to see how many brands they own.
Ben and Jerry(the guys) sold out in 2000 or thereabouts.

Yup - this decision was made by Unilever. Make Unilever aware that you don't agree with their decision, and your buying decisions will be influenced by their decision. Let them know they'll lose money. Unilever's other ice cream companies include Breyer's and Klondike, and here's a full list of all their brands.

Interesting. If they're complying with the Arab boycott, Ben and Jerrys will lose. These actions are dealt with frequently, not just with Israel but most commonly. Joe will just sanction the boycott, then it'll be OK.
