In his opening monologue on "Hannity" Friday, Fox News host Sean Hannity blasted the Biden administration for it's apparent mixed messaging on masks, asking why the President and First Lady continue wearing masks outside even though they both have received the COVID-19 vaccine. HANNITY: Why is Mr. "Follow the Science" still wearing a mask? And what kind of message is he sending here? Does he want Americans to think the vaccines maybe have suspicious--they’re not as effective as they’ve been telling us? Does he want mask mandates, social distancing in perpetuity? Forever? How is any of this getting us back...

Should all clinicians be trained in how to talk to patients about HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and just sex in general in a community-specific way? Yes, according to a group of HIV clinicians, sexual health experts and advocates. The Center for HIV Law and Policy convened the experts, ... who came together specifically to urge the passage of New York State Bill A3864. The bill would require health care providers to receive sexual health training in order to keep their licenses current. The hope is that it will help providers address patients’ distrust of the medical system. [emphasis added]

Forecasters expect the stream to hit Earth on Sunday, May 2, and it could affect Earth's satellite technology. It has been categorised as a G1 class storm which can lead to “weak power grid fluctuations” and can have a “minor impact on satellite operations”. Astronomer Tony Phillips wrote on his Space Weather site: "Minor G1-class geomagnetic storms are possible on May 2nd when a stream of solar wind is expected to hit Earth's magnetic field. While this solar storm is largely is insignificant...the Sun can also release solar flares so powerful that they can cripple Earth's technology. "The probability of...

Venus is an enigma. It’s the planet next door and yet reveals little about itself. An opaque blanket of clouds smothers a harsh landscape pelted by acid rain and baked at temperatures that can liquify lead. Now, new observations from the safety of Earth are lifting the veil on some of Venus’ most basic properties. By repeatedly bouncing radar off the planet’s surface over the last 15 years, a UCLA-led team has pinned down the precise length of a day on Venus, the tilt of its axis and the size of its core. The findings are published today in the...

Elliot Page, the actor formerly known as Ellen Page but who now identifies as a man, “collapsed” after being asked to wear a dress at the 2010 premiere of Christopher Nolan’s hit movie “Inception,” according to an interview Page gave to Oprah Winfrey. During Page’s sit-down interview for Oprah, Page claimed to have suffered a panic attack during the international press tour for “Inception” out of pressure to conform with Hollywood gender demands. “There was so much press and so many premieres all around the world and I was wearing dresses and heels to pretty much every single event,” Page...

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — With little notice, California on Saturday is increasing early release credits for 76,000 inmates, including violent and repeat felons, as it further trims the population of what once was the nation’s largest state correctional system. More than 63,000 inmates convicted of violent crimes will be eligible for good behavior credits that shorten their sentences by one-third instead of the one-fifth that had been in place since 2017. That includes nearly 20,000 inmates who are serving life sentences with the possibility of parole. More than 10,000 inmates convicted of a second serious but nonviolent offense under the...

The Vatican’s Transparency Provisions: Yet Another Façade OperationVatican executives, including Cardinals who are heads of dicasteries and administrators, will be required to sign a declaration stating that they have no convictions or investigations against them for terrorism, money laundering, or tax evasion. Furthermore, they may not hold assets in tax havens or invest in companies that operate contrary to the doctrine of the Church. These stipulations are laid down in the Pope’s newly-issued Motu Proprio which contains provisions on transparency in the management of public finances. The declaration must be signed upon taking up any office or position and must...

Ian Patrick Williams, a 25-year-old college senior studying computer science, was charged Wednesday by King County prosecutors with second-degree murder and held on a $2 million bail for stabbing a man only seconds after encountering him outside a Bothell apartment complex, according to court documents. Bothell police said Williams — who has no criminal record — is seen on video surveillance suddenly lunging and stabbing 29-year-old John Huynh 45 seconds after Williams allegedly made an obscene gesture at Huynh, who had never met Williams before, according to witnesses. According to police documents, Huynh was leaving a Bothell apartment along with...

James Madison, hailed as the father of our Constitution, is probably turning over in his grave given the shredding of our God-given constitutional values and principles upon which we were founded. Madison recognized that since concentrating power leads to tyranny, dividing government power was essential for the preservation of liberty. He will never be accused of being short-sighted about the threats government would pose to the people. Madison and others set out deliberately to design a form of government that would limit abuses and withstand the test of time. America now faces that test, and the central question that has...

AbstractBackground: After COVID-19 emerged on U.S shores, providers began reviewing the emerging basic science, translational, and clinical data to identify potentially effective treatment options. In addition, a multitude of both novel and repurposed therapeutic agents were used empirically and studied within clinical trials. Areas of Uncertainty: The majority of trialed agents have failed to provide reproducible, definitive proof of efficacy in reducing the mortality of COVID-19 with the exception of corticosteroids in moderate to severe disease. Recently, evidence has emerged that the oral antiparasitic agent ivermectin exhibits numerous antiviral and anti-inflammatory mechanisms with trial results reporting significant outcome benefits. Given...

Three Colorado cops involved in the brutal arrest of a 73-year-old woman with dementia — and later seen laughing and joking about the incident — have resigned, police said Friday. Loveland Officers Austin Hopp and Daria Jalali and Community Services Officer Tyler Blackett stepped down over the June 2020 arrest of Karen Garner, Police Chief Robert Ticer said during a news conference. Austin Hopp, Daria Jalali and Tyler Blackett all stepped down because of the 2020 incident. “Our goal at the Loveland Police Department has always been to make our community proud. We failed and we are very sorry for...

With a majority of adult Americans now at least partially vaccinated against coronavirus, roughly a quarter of adults say they will not try to get the shot, according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS. That vaccine-hesitant 26% is much more willing to return to regular activity, far less confident in the government health officials overseeing vaccine rollouts, and opposed to vaccine requirements for everyday activities. Overall, the poll seems to point to a country on the road to normalcy, with about 7 in 10 having gotten a vaccine or planning to do so and two-thirds comfortable returning to...

Things are escalating in Maricopa County Arizona as the first week of the ballot audit comes to a close. After democrats lost several court challenges; and after a state judge affirms the right of the Arizona Senate to conduct an audit; CNN has dispatched their hit-team to document the workers and frame an extremist narrative. [SEE HERE] The CNN camera crews worked earnestly to get election audit volunteers on camera; the objective appears to be the familiar threats and intimidation tactics carried out by the news and narrative company in the past. A previous ground report from a local volunteer...
