The U.S. Senate voted 52 to 48 Wednesday to confirm Pennsylvania Health Secretary Richard “Rachel” Levine, a man “identifying” as a woman, to be assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for the Biden administration. Every Democrat voted in favor of Levine, joined by liberal, pro-abortion Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine. Conservative critics have argued that, as a so-called “trans woman” who endorses and promotes the notion that individuals can change their “gender identity” at will, Levine lacks the medical credibility and objectivity to be entrusted with hot-button transgender...

No.” That was the definitive answer that Aaron Kindsvatter, a professor of counseling at the University of Vermont, has given to those on campus who are demanding he leave it. The professor made the statement in response to a petition titled “Demand the Immediate Resignation of UVM Asst Prof Aaron Kindsvatter.” The activists are upset that Kindsvatter recently made a video that argues antiracism efforts on campus in effect...

In a March 24 blog, Gallup CEO and Chairman Jim Clifton reported that 42 million adults in Latin America and the Caribbean said they would like to immigrate to the United States. "There are 33 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Roughly 450 million adults live in the region. Gallup asked them if they would like to move to another country permanently if they could," wrote Clifton. Twenty-seven percent of those adults said "yes." That equals roughly 120 million who want to migrate somewhere. From that group, Gallup asked them "where they would like to move." "Of those who...

Curiously described as ‘multicultural’ You may have heard of college graduation ceremonies reserved for blacks, Latinos or gays in these increasingly segregated times. But how about six graduation ceremonies segregated by race, sexuality and income level – at one university? Columbia University is offering virtual ceremonies for Native American, “LGBTQIA+,” Asian, “Latinx,” black, and “First-generation and/or low income” students over the last week of April, described as “Multicultural Graduation Ceremonies.” They cover graduates of Columbia College, Columbia Engineering, General Studies and Barnard College, its sibling women’s college. The majority of an 11-judge en banc Ninth Circuit panel concluded that the Second Amendment does not guarantee the right to carry firearms outside the home. SAN FRANCISCO (CN) — Americans have no right to carry guns in public, a divided en banc Ninth Circuit panel ruled Wednesday, reversing a prior Ninth Circuit decision that struck down a Hawaii firearm restriction as unconstitutional. “There is no right to carry arms openly in public; nor is any such right within the scope of the Second Amendment,” U.S. Circuit Judge Jay Bybee, a George W. Bush appointee, wrote for the majority of...

Chinese health authorities have recently said that an additional third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine may be needed to boost its effectiveness. The announcement was released soon after a doctor in China’s Xi’an city was reportedly infected with the CCP virus after receiving two doses of a Chinese-made COVID-19 vaccine. A virologist who spoke with The Epoch Times believes that the poor quality of the Chinese-made vaccines and the increasing threat posed by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus mutations are causing infections. The Chinese doctor surnamed Liu from Xi’an city, the capital of Shaanxi Province, tested positive for the...

President Joe Biden announced on March 24 that Vice President Kamala Harris will be tapped to lead the administration’s efforts in stemming the influx of illegal immigrants at the U.S.–Mexico border. Biden told reporters that Harris was the “most qualified” person to handle the task. It comes as the administration faces growing pressure over how it’s handling a surge at the border that started after Biden was sworn into office. “This increase has been consequential, but the vice president has agreed … to lead our diplomatic effort and to work with those nations to accept the returnees and enhance migration...

Vice President Harris is being slammed over her decision to appear with former President Clinton for a Clinton Foundation event focused on empowering women amid the Covid-19 pandemic, given Clinton’s alleged history of sexual abuse. The Clinton Global Initiative event will take place on Friday and will be hosted by Howard University, of which Harris is an alumni. A press release promotes it as “a one-on-one conversation” between Harris and Clinton “on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women, and empowering women and girls in the U.S. and around the world.”

There are some things that are so predictable. Arguably first among them are the instant knee jerk responses of the left seeking to score cheap political points following a tragedy, facts be damned. On several occasions I have written here that it's better to be right than be first, especially when being first makes one out to be an ass. Boy have they made asses of themselves this time. The Boulder shooter has been identified as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, Syrian born Muslim. He is said to be a loner, anti-social and paranoid. Alissa's Facebook page, the authenticity of which...

Almost daily Trump uses his near-perfect track record of successful endorsements to back a new challenger to an incumbent in the 2022 elections. On Monday Trump endorsed the primary challenge by Rep. If this is accepted for review by the Supreme Court -- and the Supreme Court has shown itself to be extraordinarily cowardly in ducking ruling on big-ticket items -- we will find out if we really have a "conservative" court, or if the lawyers recommended by the Professional Class Karens of the Federalist Society are just from the Corporate Wing of the Uniparty. I suspect the latter. --- The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a Hawaii gun regulation, ruling Wednesday that states can restrict the right to openly carry a firearm in public. The 7-4 decision said restrictions on...

In 1928, HG Wells penned a book entitled, The Open Conspiracy: Blue Print for World Revolution. The similarities between what we find contained in Wells's book which was written almost 100 years ago, to what has transpired since, and to that which we can observe unfolding before us today, are uncanny. The conclusion of his ideas is the call for the overthrow of the present world order, and the creation of a world-state, which, we can observe playing out in our world today. Not only so, but Wells laid out a very specific plan to bring about the destruction of...
