New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker allegedly directed that members of the governor’s family and bigwigs with ties to his administration should get priority coronavirus testing, a report said Wednesday.
Relatives of Cuomo, including his brother, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, one of their sisters and their mom were tested several times during the early days of the pandemic, the Albany Times-Union reported.
The testing was done by high-level members of the state Health Department, often at private homes, the newspaper said, citing three sources with direct knowledge of the matter.

While other non elites could not get appointments or had to drive 50 to 100 miles to get a vaccination they were eligible for.

Exactly why is an imbecile who has a tv show on CNN getting special access to get home visits from NY health staffers who administered scarce covid-19 tests and rushed them to lab via state troopers. Also, I would love to go back and see what Chris said about testing in those early days (on his show). Criticizing the Trump Admin while getting special access. And mom. I thought Governor Cuomo said “old people die.” Add this to the list of scandals.

If, during the darkest days of the pandemic, Donald Trump had taken scarce COVID tests away from NIH and ordered the Secret Service to take them over to Ivanka’s house to get her and the family tested, CNN would have done five solid days of coverage demanding impeachment for abuse of office.
