Ohio has sent 100 members of its National Guard to Washington, D.C., after a direct request from Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, as the state felt it could spare that many to help meet the capital's request for extra troops, Gov. Mike DeWine said Wednesday. "We have National Guard now in Columbus, National Guard in Cleveland, and we were happy to do this," the Republican governor said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends." DeWine also stressed that the nature of the protests in those cities and in Cincinnati have been different from protests in cities such as New York. "We're...

Left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore called for the COVID-19 vaccine to be reserved for Texans who aren’t white in a tweet thread slamming Texas’ decision to rescind its mask mandate, at first stating that Texans didn’t deserve the coronavirus vaccine because of the state’s refusal to implement mask restrictions permanently. Trending: Deranged Democrat Demands Prosecution of 40,000 Trump Supporters Who Were OUTSIDE Capitol After some Democrats criticized Moore’s embrace of a medical embargo on Texas, the hateful filmmaker clarified his proposal. Moore said that the poor and members of non-white groups should be vaccinated, with most White Texans seemingly banned from...

When it comes to extreme weather, it's safe to say a "space hurricane" qualifies. Scientists said last week they observed a previously unknown phenomenon — a 620-mile-wide swirling mass of plasma that roiled for hours in Earth's upper atmosphere, raining electrons instead of water. The researchers labeled the disturbance a space hurricane because it resembled and behaved like the rotating storm systems that routinely batter coastlines around the world. But until now, they were not known to exist. ...Lyons said this type of discovery is one that could have been easily missed had the researchers not spotted clues in the...

California Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra disclosed Tuesday that his office is investigating whether the Catholic healthcare chain Providence Health has violated its legal commitments by applying religious restrictions on care at one of Orange County’s premier hospitals. Becerra’s office is requesting a heap of documentation from Providence about its dealings with Hoag Memorial Hospital, a Newport Beach medical center with which it has partnered since 2016 and is now in an acrimonious dispute. It comes as Becerra awaits Senate confirmation of his nomination as President Biden’s secretary of Health and Human Services. Becerra’s action follows a confidential complaint that several...

Governor Newsom Enraged After Hearing Churches Singing Down In Whoville

Top aides to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo were alarmed: A report written by state health officials had just landed, and it included a count of how many nursing home residents in New York had died in the pandemic. The number — more than 9,000 by that point in June — was not public, and the governor’s most senior aides wanted to keep it that way. They rewrote the report to take it out, according to interviews and documents reviewed by The New York Times.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said thousands of National Guard troops deployed at the U.S. Capitol may remain “as long as they are needed,” following a report that said the Capitol Police requested the Guard to stay in place for two more months.

In King v. New York, (ND NY, Feb. 26, 2021), a New York federal district court rejected a wife's contention that New York's no-fault divorce law violates the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses by infringing her Christian religious belief that marriage is permanent and cannot be dissolved by the state. The court said in part: ... [A] finding that H. King must remain married against his will because of L. King’s religious convictions would defy all logic and reason, and create a much larger Establishment Clause issue than the one L. King argues exists today....

In Rome lies the Santi Apostoli church, cared for by Franciscan brothers for more than 500 years. For more than 1500 years, this site has held the believed remains of two of the earliest Christians and Jesu apostles: St. Philip and St. James the Younger - relics of the Holy Catholic Church... The skeletons are today far from complete. Only fragments of a tibia, a femur and a mummified foot remain. The tibia and foot are attributed to St. Philip, the femur to St. James. It appears likely that this has been the case since the sixth century... The researchers...

Nancy Pelosi wants to turn America into a one-party nation. The House speaker has no qualms about trashing the Constitution to kneecap her Republican opponents. Her bill HR 1, which will be voted on this week, would rig the electoral system to favor Democrats. HR 1 is being sold as a reform to make voting easier. In truth, it makes cheating easier. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and imposes a set of national rules. For starters, it bans state voter-ID requirements. Anyone can show up on Election Day to vote, registered or not, and simply sign a statement claiming...

ALEXANDRIA, VA—After decades of progressive work for meaningful change, local man Chxd Bxrnx sat down in this new utopia to enjoy some carb-free pancakes with ethnically neutral maple syrup and generic, non-native American-related butter while watching the Washington football team play. Thanks to their efforts, there are no references to race, ethnicity, or gender in all of culture. "Man, (and womxn!), this is the life!" said Bxrnx before saying a quick prayer of lament to the Earth for robbing her of her bounty...

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden called off an air strike against a second target in Syria last week after a woman and children were spotted in the area, a senior administration official told NBC News. Because of the presence of civilians, only one target was bombed in last week's operation, which came in retaliation for recent rocket attacks on U.S. personnel that the Pentagon blamed on Iranian-backed Shiite militia in Iraq, the administration official and a Defense official said. The president made the decision to cancel the separate air strike after military reconnaissance revealed a woman and two children in...
