Elizabeth Holmes’ attorneys are worried that evidence of the disgraced Theranos founder’s luxe lifestyle could inflame “class prejudice” against her at her upcoming fraud trial. The feds want to detail for a jury how Holmes rubbed elbows with celebrities, drove a high-end SUV, rented a pricey home and took advantage of other perks as the CEO of the failed blood-testing startup. But Holmes’ legal team says the “highly misleading” evidence could unfairly tilt jurors against her simply because she earned a big paycheck like other Silicon Valley executives.

The Polish government wants to start producing nuclear energy in 2033 and has agreed to deals with the US and France. But Germany is increasingly alarmed by its neighbor’s energy plans. […] The EU member has to find new sources of energy in order to meet the bloc’s climate, energy and environmental targets. Poland currently depends on coal for 70% of its energy and is thus one of the most polluting EU states. But Poland’s energy transition is not driven by external pressure alone. Brown coal mining in central Poland, which currently supplies 20% of the country’s energy, is set...

Tim Tebow has now retired from two different professional sports. The 2010 first-round pick of the Broncos has announced that his second career in baseball is over. “It has been a pleasure to have Tim in our organization as he’s been a consummate professional during his four years with the Mets,” Mets president Sandy Alderson said. “By reaching the Triple-A level in 2019, he far exceeded expectations when he first entered the system in 2016 and he should be very proud of his accomplishments.”

Professor Marc Lamont Hill is an influential and high-profile leader of two movements: The Black Lives Matter movement and the anti-Israel movement. The “intersectional” hijacking and crossover of domestic movements in the anti-Israel cause is something we have covered for years. Lamont Hill just admitted what we all knew, but some people deny, one of the goals of the Black Lives Matter movement is the destruction of Israel. In a Zoom panel event on February 6, 2021, organized by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)’s “BDS and Palestine Solidarity National Working Group, National Political Education Committee, DSA Muslim Caucus, and...

The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement lambasting the United States government under Joe Biden for the “ongoing persecution campaign” taking place “against anybody at all who does not agree with the results of the latest presidential election.” In the statement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova delivered a scathing assessment of the human rights situation in the United States under President Joe Biden. Zakharova described the ongoing crackdown against Trump loyalists in the United States: “The FBI has reportedly opened more than 400 criminal cases and applied for more than 500 search warrants and subpoenas for suspects; it...

President Joe Biden called out the Proud Boys as one of the greatest threats to America during his town hall in Milwaukee. University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee professor Joel Berkowitz got to ask Biden about white supremacists and other hate groups during that town hall Tuesday night. "While I appreciate efforts being made to bring them to justice, I worry about ongoing threats to our country from Americans who embrace white supremacy and conspiracies that align with it. What can your administration do to address this complex and wide-ranging problem?" Berkowitz asked the president. "I got involved in politics to begin with...

President Joe Biden really covered himself in glory during his Tuesday night chat with CNN’s Anderson Cooper during the outlet’s town hall in Milwaukee. Not really. Knowing what could go wrong, I was somewhat surprised Biden’s handlers allowed him to participate in the town hall event at all. The president offered Cooper a warm greeting and said, “And you know you enjoy being at home with your baby more.” This was a reference to Cooper’s nearly 10-month-old baby. Still smiling, Biden said, “Everybody knows I like kids better than people.” TRENDING: Court Docs: CNN and NBC Each Paid $35K to...

Exerpt-"RUSH: You know, this idiot Michael Moore does all these ludicrous movies....And he says that, like many people, he thought electric cars were a good idea, quote, "but I didn't really think about where the electricity was coming from." I read something like this, can this guy really be this dumb? And then I have to conclude, yes. I think leftists are this... maybe "dumb" is not the right word. Ignorant? How many of you right now, if you spend your time on Twitter, how many of you are in arguments with people you are convinced are brain-dead about anything...

It is hard to say something about Rush Limbaugh that hasn’t already been said, but I’ll try. I was there on the day of his debut. I was working at WPBR, an ocean-front radio station in Palm Beach, Florida. It was August of 1988 and I was doing one of a number of commercial radio gigs while in college. At WPBR, I did news on the hour but also ran the board. This particular day, a new and different show was debuting at noon – a talk show with a point of view. he news of this new show was...

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSPA) — Nearly all of the Democratic members of the South Carolina House have walked out of the chamber to protest a bill that would ban nearly all abortions in the state. A few Democrats stayed behind Wednesday to deliver speeches opposing the bill before it was to go to a vote. Republican members are expected to pass the measure easily and it will head soon to Republican Gov. Henry McMaster for his signature. McMaster has promised numerous times in news conferences and formal speeches to sign it as soon as possible.
