Tim Tebow has now retired from two different professional sports.
The 2010 first-round pick of the Broncos has announced that his second career in baseball is over.
“It has been a pleasure to have Tim in our organization as he’s been a consummate professional during his four years with the Mets,” Mets president Sandy Alderson said. “By reaching the Triple-A level in 2019, he far exceeded expectations when he first entered the system in 2016 and he should be very proud of his accomplishments.”
Which state?
Tim has had a remarkable career. Not exactly as he wanted it, but he has still made a name for himself. A good name.
Since he is now a trained public speaker, he should have no problem rakin’ in the dough for a long time.
Has his wife had a child yet, or are they still in the Puppy stage?
You’d think Colorado would be a no-brainer, but there are a lot of Tebow haters there— mostly ex-Californians.
Virgin until his wedding day. Could be shooting blanks.
Florida I’d guess. Tebow is a great guy and an awesome person.
He does a lot to help others. Has tremendous respect with many.
Clearly the NY Mets were fine with his time in the organization too.

Let’s see: Age 33. Married 1 year. If my math is right he waited 31/32 years to do it the first time. That’s like a kid who doesn’t like candy. Is there such a thing?

I never forget how he was treated by Elway and the rest of the NFL.
At the end of the season they went to the state playoffs. The week before the big game, my oldest son told me that their opponent from South Florida had "some great quarterback named Tebow".
The following Friday night there was "no joy in Mudville".

One of my best male friends, also a devout Christian, waited until his wedding night. He was 40. Also quite an attractive man. His choice to honor God in all ways. I have tremendous respect for their choices.
