  • Is Abortion the Issue that Determines Everything Else?

I will confess. I have never been a huge pro-life activist. I have never donated to pro-life causes. I have never been to a pro-life march. Yes, I have always been pro-life but never understood not only the importance of the issue in and of itself, but how the position one takes – or society takes – will determine your position on almost everything else. That has changed, and while I am late to the movement, it is better late than never.

As the global public health crisis continues, it is useful to reflect that its cause is the actions and policies of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Their conduct has been reprehensible. They have suppressed whistleblowers and information, destroyed lab samples and prevented the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) from gaining access when it might have blunted a global outbreak. Let’s examine the timeline of the origins of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Last December, China knew the virus was transmitted human to human. Between Dec. 27, 2019, and Jan. 5, 2020, five firms and...

    League of the South ^ | January 29, 2021 | Michael Hill
The League of the South, the premier Southern nationalist organization (1994-present), stands with the Southern people (and other good Americans) against the incipient communist regime that is now in power in Washington, DC. This regime has unequivocally determined that “we, the people”–the White middle- and working-class–is the enemy, declaring us to be nothing less than “domestic terrorists.” More evidence of this split between the ruling class and the people surfaces everyday. Only nine days into the Biden-Harris regime, we now see plainly that the media, the markets, and the electoral process itself are rigged in favor of the elites and...

Why is there a standing army tens of thousands strong in the capitol? For what purpose? Where is the press with screaming questions about this? You know they would be on 24/7 screaming about a military takeover by republicans. The emocrats would be on tv using literal war rhetoric, melting down on tv. The democrats do so and nothing. Explain how nanzi pelosi has any legal delegatd power to do anything with the us military? She has zero. Yet it appears she is calling the shots on how long they stay around. There are many medical reports from all over the world that ivermectin, a special drug for parasitic diseases discovered by Satoshi Omura, a special honorary professor at Kitasato University, is effective in treating and preventing the new coronavirus. There is even a view that it may be the trump card to end the corona pandemic. Japan, the "country of discovery" of ivermectin, should be more actively involved in determining the efficacy of this drug, determine the prescription (how to use the drug) ahead of the rest of the world, and promote the use of ivermectin as a corona treatment /...

The Catholic News Agency reports that, at a recent panel discussion hosted by the National Catholic Reporter, Sister Simone Campbell offered to explain President Biden’s position on abortion for us. Campbell is executive director of the “Network Lobby for Catholic Social Justice,” about which more below. What she claims about Biden’s abortion position, based on a conversation with him, is that “he has a very developed approach to it. . .for him, it hinges on religious liberty, and that he will not force his religious belief on the whole nation.” Far from being “very developed” this seems a parroting of...

The veteran New York Times reporter who tendered his resignation after allegations he used the N-word during a 2019 trip with high-schoolers also argued that “racism is over” and that black people “can get out of the ghetto if they want to” during the trip, according to a student who attended. Donald McNeil — the Grey Lady’s public health reporter during the coronavirus pandemic — allegedly made the remarks during a July 2019 trip to Peru as part of the broadsheet’s “Times Journeys” program, a student on the trip told the paper. Sophie Shepherd recalled that one of her first...

Zinc and Vitamin C fell short in a clinical trial after researchers found they made no significant difference in easing the duration of coronavirus symptoms. Findings from the Cleveland Clinic were published in JAMA Network on Friday, drawing on results from April 27 to Oct. 14, when 214 coronavirus patients in Ohio and Florida outpatient care sites were given either 50 milligrams of high-dose zinc to be taken at night, 8,000 milligrams of Vitamin C to be taken several times throughout the day with meals, a combination of the two or standard care over a 10-day period. These patients, averaging...

Samalut (Agenzia Fides) - The social distancing measures also planned in Egypt to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic did not prevent celebrating, even if in a sober and limited way, the 6th anniversary of the massacre of 20 Copts in Libya in the company of their Ghanaian workmates from jihadist terrorists linked to the so-called "Islamic State" in February 2015. On the evening of Sunday 14 February, in the village of al-Awarm in Minya province, a vigil took place in the shrine dedicated to the Martyrs of the Faith and of the Fatherland, where their mortal remains are kept. Jesus Christ went to cross to pay the price to pay for all sin, including that of homosexuality, but the problem starts with people who think that homosexuality is not a sin. The very idea of Christian LGBTQ+ people is an idea that opposes itself from start to finish. TRAVERSE CITY — Jan Renollet Chapman grew up in the Catholic faith and is a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in downtown Traverse City. Chapman, 73, no longer goes to Mass every Sunday and calls herself a lapsed Catholic. She was not at the Thursday morning Mass celebrated Jan. 26 by the Rev. Mitchel Roman, but watched it online. She listened as Roman in his sermon criticized Pres. Joe Biden, who is Catholic, abortion and today’s cancel culture. But Chapman said she was enraged when Roman took aim at the LGBTQ community, suggesting that a person cannot...

CNA Staff, Feb 15, 2021 / 03:52 pm MT (CNA).- The Catholic bishops of Scotland, along with several other Christian groups, are speaking out against a proposed “hate crimes” law in the country that they say could interfere with the free exercise of religion. “As Christians, we do not always agree with one another and know that many do not necessarily share or even understand our beliefs, but we are utterly committed to the free and open exchange of ideas in society,” the coalition wrote a Feb. 12 letter to Justice Secretary Humza Yousaf. “We believe that people should be...

"Xenophobia" has been a constant Biden theme... Within moments [of President Trump's "travel ban" last January] ... Biden went on the attack. "This is no time for Donald Trump's record of hysterical xenophobia and fear mongering to lead the way instead of science," he said. There was nothing "xenophobic" about Trump's travel ban. It was imposed on arrivals from the country where the disease first appeared. The ban, therefore, saved lives, and it would have saved even more if it had been stricter, announced sooner, and had been more rigorously enforced.... [If Biden] had been president then, the disease would...
  • China Adopts Trial In Absentia, in a Move Analysts Say Will Target Overseas Dissidents

The Chinese regime’s highest court issued a detailed interpretation of a criminal procedure law on Feb. 4, stipulating that trial in absentia can be applied to defendants who “seriously endanger national security” and are based outside China, according to Chinese media reports. “Trial in absentia” refers to criminal proceedings in which a defendant is not physically present to attend said proceedings. China observers worry that the move is aimed at intimidating Chinese dissidents who live abroad. In 2018, China’s rubber-stamp legislature, the National People’s Congress, enacted amendments to its criminal procedure law to allow more courts to try people in...

It hasn’t been a very good week for the New York Times. Predictably, they “updated” a story regarding the death of the United States Capitol Police Officer, which stated that he was murdered by Trump supporters with a fire extinguisher. Of course, this change came after the left had unsuccessfully tried to use the story as part of the Impeachment Trial against Donald Trump. The New York Times has retracted or changed numerous stories that were built on lies and misinformation during the course of the Trump Administration, yet somehow people still trust the flow of propaganda that comes from...
