Former presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi, the runner-up in last month’s presidential poll, yesterday asked the Supreme Court to annul the election victory of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party. Mr Kyagulanyi, who is widely known by the stage name Bobi Wine, also wants the judges to declare that the Electoral Commission (EC) failed to conduct the January 14 General Election in accordance with the law and, as such, Mr Museveni was not validly elected. In a petition filed at the Supreme Court in Kololo, a Kampala suburb, the National Unity Platform (NUP) leader asked court...

Thomas Moseley, 29, had previously been arrested and released for cases that involved damaging a police precinct in August as well as rioting in December, according to the Hennepin County’s Attorney Office. Due to an incident that transpired after his most recent release, Moseley is now under investigation for allegedly attempting to purchase semi-automatic weapons from a gun store on...

Amid a surge in high-profile assassinations and violent attacks, the Biden administration is indicating it will keep U.S. troops in Afghanistan past a May withdrawal deadline laid out in the U.S. deal with the Taliban. President Joe Biden has talked about keeping U.S. forces for counter terrorism or to defend the U.S.-backed Afghan government against a rise in Taliban attacks, but it's unclear under what conditions, to what end and for how long after America's nearly 20 years of war.

House Republicans are gearing up for a referendum on Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney’s role in leadership this week after she supported Democrats’ rushed second impeachment of former President Donald Trump. Cheney ignited backlash from her own party three weeks ago when she announced her support for Democrats’ plan to remove the outgoing president days before the end of his term. The three-term Wyoming congresswoman claimed her choice to indict the president whose restrained foreign policy approach she frequently opposed was a “vote of conscience.” The timing of her move on the eve of the vote hurt members of the caucus...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—In recounting her terrifying experience in the Capitol when America's sacred and holy democracy was assaulted by Lin Wood's Twitter followers, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revealed that the attack was much more horrible and terrifying than anyone originally thought. "At one point, two scary men in MAGA hats, like, literally threw copies of Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell, literally right at me," said AOC. "They said: 'Read this! One of the most positive developments from last year's political strife was a stronger focus on police abuses and no-knock raids. Some states and cities have imposed new restrictions, others are working toward greater transparency when it comes to police shootings. Unfortunately, Maryland, a state that has wrestled with some of the most egregious SWAT and no-knock cases in the country, remains mired in controversy. The state has a long record of SWAT debacles. After police wrongfully raided a mayor’s house and killed his dogs in 2008, Maryland required police to report every SWAT raid. Between 2010 and 2014, police...

It is my opinion that the Democrat bill, For the People Act 2021 H.R. 1 - 117th Congress (2021-2022), a laughable title, is the fatal blow to free and fair elections, and the end of the United States of America as we know it. In case you think I am exaggerating, consider this checklist: ● The coronavirus "pandemic" was an economic bioweapon designed to collapse Trump's roaring U.S. economy, terrify Americans into submission, and justify mail-in ballots. The pandemic is and always was political medicine disguised as public health ✔︎ ● The mail-in ballots augmented the digital interference via Dominion...

This photo was taken today at Saint Ann's Catholic Church located at Tenley Circle, NW, in DC. The US ensign when thus flown upside down is a distress signal. Someone might do well to check on Monsignor Watkins to see if he's okay. Or perhaps he is signaling distress over the deteriorating condition of the Church or the U.S.? Either could be the case as we can all attest. Let us know if you find out what's up. Or down, as the case may be.

The United States must be ready for a nuclear war with China or Russia and seek new ways to deter both countries’ use of newly acquired advanced strategic weapons, the commander of the U.S. Strategic Command is warning in a major new review of the global balance of nuclear forces. Adm. Charles Richard, writing in the current issue of the U.S. Naval Institute journal Proceedings, offered a blunt and detailed assessment that the luxury of living in a post-Cold War era when direct armed conflict with a rival nuclear power was not possible is over. “There is a real possibility...
