An emotional video of a mother shaving her head in solidarity with her daughter battling cancer has gone viral online. The video is being widely circulated on various social media platforms, and it will truly leave you in tears.
WHAT IS THE VIRAL VIDEO ABOUT?
The video was shared on Facebook by Luciana Rebello, who is battling cancer and can be seen getting her head shaved in the clip. It also captures her emotional reaction on seeing her mom shaving her head.
The clip begins with a woman chopping off Luciana's hair, as she gets emotional. In the video, two kids also join the woman to shave her head. It is in the middle of the video, that the mother joins her daughter and starts shaving her head in solidarity. Shocked by her mother's gesture, the woman breaks down. The moment will bring tears to your eyes too.
Written in Portuguese, Rebello's Facebook caption loosely translates to "The love of a mother. Alba Gomes, love you to pieces (sic)."
The video was shared on several other platforms too. American basketball players, Rex Chapman, also posted the clip with the caption, "This mother surprises her daughter - who is fighting cancer. Love. Break out the tissues...(sic)."

Daughter: Mom, why you do this? (she repeats this many times)
Mother: It's me and God
Who cares. Plenty of Americans do this as well in solidarity with those going through cancer.
I don’t dare watch that video right now. It would bring me way, WAY down. Nice intentions, but, not now for me.
Anyone who’s not a narcissist.
I'd be fine trading two American citizens that are white, woke, urban, affluent, pod-eating, Antifa-loving pieces of garbage for this mother and daughter combo.
Just getting tired of the constant Indian human interest stories on Free Republic.
Well, you can always skip over them.
You got that right. One of my dearest friends died this very day. She struggled so hard these past two days. They don’t want to know about my sympathy for f’n foreigners right now. I once lived in an area overrun with illegals. Somewhere around 14 percent in the county jail being held for ICE and I was a 99’er then. Her husband died several years back. His famous quote...Blow me like you know me. Seems appropriate.
