I first shared this about 5 years ago on my blog, but I decided to share it again, just so a new audience can read about this interesting dog. All warm blooded animals were created by God to have five basic senses. However, when we lose our sight, or are born blind, we find it difficult to deal with a world made for those who see. Blind people cope in a world built for eyes by using trained guide dogs. It has been a partnership that both man and dog have learned to appreciate and love. Well, what I have...

Phil Murphy (D) urged residents on Monday to refrain from ringing in the new year with individuals outside of their household, pressing New Jerseyans to reduce celebrations and strictly adhere to coronavirus protocols, including masking up and practicing social distancing. “IMPORTANT: This New Year’s Eve, we urge you to keep to a small gathering of only your immediate household,” Murphy began, stating that the new year should begin with residents “staying vigilant” regarding the Chinese coronavirus by practicing social distancing, masking up, and handwashing:

Anthony Quinn Warner was responsible for the Christmas morning explosion that rocked downtown Nashville, officials said Sunday, and he died in the blast. Investigators matched human remains found at the scene with Warner’s DNA, confirming suspicions that he blew himself up in a recreational vehicle, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch told reporters. Law enforcers said they were investigating a motive. Authorities had assembled Saturday at Warner’s home in Antioch, Tenn., about 10 miles southeast of the explosion site. Several neighbors described seeing an RV similar to the one that blew up Friday morning, in the backyard of the...

Adam and Eve said, 'Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us every day. Now we do not see you anymore. We are lonesome here, and it is difficult for us to remember how much you love us.' And God said, I will create a companion for you that will be with you and who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new companion will accept you as you are and...

So months back I asked for prayers for my nephew Bill's wife Jessica. She had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that was called incurable. Bill and Jessica have two little boys 2 and 6 and the future for all of them looked very scary. The prayers from all of you joined with those of our family, have worked a miracle. After completing a course of chemo treatments Jessica got her new diagnosis. She is 100% free of cancer! Thanks be to the Lord and all of you who prayed with us for this young mother! Thank you,...

The American Revolution was sparked in part by unjust taxation. After all, the colonists in Boston rebelled against Britain for imposing “taxation without representation,” and summarily tossed English tea into the harbor in protest in 1773. Nowadays Americans collectively spend more than 6 billion hours each year filling out tax forms, keeping records, and learning new tax rules according to the Office of Management and Budget. Complying with the byzantine U.S. tax code is estimated to cost the American economy hundreds of billions of dollars annually – time and money that could otherwise be used for more productive activities like...

Conservative rocker Ted Nugent said Sunday on Sinclair’s “America This Week” that those kneeling during the national anthem or protesting with the Black Lives Matter movement are “soulless” and “stupid.” Host Eric Bolling said, “I love hearing the Star-Spangled Banner. Let’s talk a little bit about what’s going on in the country … You see them kneeling when as the song is being played, you see them disrespecting the flag that is on my chest and probably on your arm. What does that do to Ted Nugent?” Referencing the Black Lives Matter “hands up, don’t shoot” slogan, which began in...

New study of voting patterns throws Democrats for a loop. President Trump said throughout the campaign that the Democratic Party took African-Americans, Hispanics and Asians for granted, and the message apparently got through to the increasingly powerful voting blocs. Detailed voter analysis by The New York Times released last week shows a massive influx of votes for Trump from the blocs. While Democrat Joe Biden still got the majority of votes from the groups, in cities like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami and Philadelphia huge swaths of the groups voted Republican.

Part I: The Mystery Things first began to feel off in March. While this sentiment applies to everything in the known and unknown universe, I mean it specifically in regard to America’s supply of dry, store-bought bucatini. At first, the evidence was purely anecdotal. My boyfriend and I would bravely venture to both our local Italian grocer and our local chain groceries, masked beyond recognition, searching in vain for the bucatini that, in my opinion, not to be dramatic, is the only noodle worth eating; all other dry pastas might as well be firewood. But where there had once been...

"... It isn’t new to have U.S. politicians who are disconnected from the facts on the ground in Afghanistan. In 2013, two years after President Obama announced that American troops would soon come home, we discovered that the military was still expanding its footprint in Afghanistan. Our team assumed control of a series of bases that had been enlarged in a costly engineering operation only months before. Five months later, when word finally came to withdraw, we tore down many of these newly remodeled outposts. The rest we refashioned into smaller versions of themselves, at significant additional cost, so that...

References to Jesus as "Palestinian" were also made on the December 13th edition of BBC Radio Scotland’s ‘Sunday Morning,’ without any explicit mention of Jesus' Jewish identity. The BBC World Service radio program Heart and Soul aired a program titled "Black Jesus" on December 18, in which presenter Robert Beckford claimed that Jesus was a "Palestinian," despite the term only coming into use some 100 years after the crucifixion. Throughout the program, Beckford noted accurately that artistic depictions of Jesus as blonde and European are historically inaccurate. But when discussing his national identity, the presenter referred to Jesus numerous times...
