Most of them — but by no means all — have D’s after their names. December 10, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) — Last night I went on Laura Ingraham’s show to talk about the Chinese spy who helped her lover get elected to Congress. It’s a spy story right out of the pages of Red Sparrow, the novel, later made into a movie, about Soviet-era sexpionage. The operative in question went by the name of Fang Fang which — fittingly, given her occupation — translates into “Fragrant” Fang. Axios reported that Fragrant was sent by the Chinese Ministry of State Security to...

A southbound truck "entered into the group of bicyclists, some of them were traveling behind the safety vehicle, they were struck, the safety vehicle was also struck as well as some the bicyclists in front of the safety vehicle," Smaka said. A judge on Thursday disqualified the St. Louis prosecutor and her office from the case involving Mark McCloskey, who along with his wife pointed guns at racial injustice protesters marching on the private street near their home in June. Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II dismissed Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, citing two campaign fundraising emails around the time she filed felony gun charges against the couple in July. “In short, the Circuit Attorney’s conduct raises the appearance that she initiated a criminal prosecution for political purposes,” Clark wrote. The order applies only to Mark McCloskey and not his wife, Patricia, who...

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are Time’s 2020 Person of the Year, the magazine announced Thursday night. The President-elect and Vice President-elect beat out Donald Trump again, among other finalists. “Together, they offered restoration and renewal in a single ticket,” Charlotte Alter writes in Time’s piece about Biden and Harris. “And America bought what they were selling: after the highest turnout in a century, they racked up 81 million votes and counting, the most in presidential history, topping Trump by some 7 million votes and flipping five battleground states.”

TLM strength yet again recognized by New York Times It is always encouraging to see mainstream media observe the beauty and vibrancy of the traditional Latin Mass and its communities. The New York Times, which has previously cited the strength of the traditional Latin Mass in France, has done so again, this time within an observation that churches there are the only places to hear live music during coronavirus shutdowns:Every Sunday, St.-Roch, known as the “church of artists,” celebrates a Tridentine Mass, the traditional Latin Mass that was standard until the introduction of services in vernacular languages in the...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A federal judge Thursday cast doubt on President Donald Trump’s lawsuit that seeks to overturn Joe Biden’s win in Wisconsin, declaring it “incredible” that Trump didn’t raise the issues before the election and that siding with him would be “the most remarkable ruling in the history of this court or the federal judiciary.” Trump is pursuing extraordinary attempts to overturn Biden’s win with a pair of lawsuits in Wisconsin, in federal and state courts. In the state case, Trump wants to disqualify more than 221,000 ballots and in the federal case he wants to give the...

Rush Limbaugh has warned that the US is 'trending towards secession' because 'there cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life' in one nation. The conservative radio host, 69, predicted that some states may soon break away from the rest of the US and declare independence, sparking the same set of circumstances that led to the American Civil War. His comments come as 18 states have joined Texas in launching Supreme Court legal action to toss out millions of votes in four battleground states in support of Donald Trump.

It’s beginning to look a lot like members of Congress won’t be going home for the holidays. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested Thursday that lawmakers may have to stay on Capitol Hill over Christmas in order to hash out another coronavirus relief package and avert a looming government shutdown, as another round of marathon negotiations produced little progress. “People do want to get home for the holidays, such as that is, but what’s more important is that we get the job done for the American people,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) said at a press conference. “We’ve been here after Christmas, you know...

In a surprising move, the Pentagon has told the Central Intelligence Agency that it is weighing an end to the majority of the military support it provides to the agency's counterterrorism missions, according to a former senior administration intelligence official. It is unclear how the decision would impact the spy agency's worldwide counterterrorism missions that often rely on the U.S. military for logistical support and personnel. Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller sent a letter to CIA Director Gina Haspel outlining the decision, according to the former official, who characterized the action as both surprising and unprecedented.
