'There cannot be a peaceful coexistence': Rush Limbaugh says the US is 'trending towards SECESSION'

Rush Limbaugh has warned that the US is 'trending towards secession' because 'there cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life' in one nation.

The conservative radio host, 69, predicted that some states may soon break away from the rest of the US and declare independence, sparking the same set of circumstances that led to the American Civil War.

His comments come as 18 states have joined Texas in launching Supreme Court legal action to toss out millions of votes in four battleground states in support of Donald Trump.

Works for me. They don’t want to live under our rules, and we certainly don’t want to live under theirs.

Agreed. If nothing changes, there's no other course, and it doesn't look like anything will change. You could have another 4 years of Trump and then Pence, and still the cancerous left would just fester there - thriving all the more on its unhappiness and resentment which are the sources of its energy.

It’s a coast v interior, urban v non-urban divide.

It may go county by county. Half of Michigan wants to secede from the other half.

Moving to Lucas Co., Ohio would NOT be getting away from Leftists.

Identity politics started with Saul Alinsky, he told his follwers never to compromise and fight until your enemy fully submitted. They want us all to give in and be obedient, SCREW THAT! Still our biggest enemy is not the alinskyites but our own conservatives who still believe in compromise!

Assuming this is even possible, it would be interesting for a state like Texas and large, left-leaning urban areas like Houston, Dallas, and Austin.

It is the bi-coast(East Coast and West Coast) vs the rest.
The latter has gulf coast and its eastern side has access to the Atlantic. It is not land-locked.

The problems are with the CIA, FBI, DOJ, and the separate rules and laws for CONgress, along with lobbyists and campaign donations from foreign governments. A revolution and obeying the Constitution would be better than secession.

Do not expect the Republic of Texas to have lax immigration policies. Instead, plan on Texas having immigration polices that are far more strict than any other country. The Republic of Texas will be for Native Texans.

Texas may even have to build a wall from Brownsville, all the way to New Mexico, up to and across the Oklahoma border, over to Arkansas, and down the along Louisiana all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.

The city-state solution is the only way - large urban areas need to be granted statehood. The Senate would be a wash, as less populated areas could be further subdivided to keep the number of new Senators roughly equal.

I thought Texas could make a go of it before 2008 when the housing bubble burst, Texas still had jobs so all the Yankees from the Northeast and Illinois and the Commiefornians moved down here. Now, I don’t believe Texas could pass a vote to secede. Too many socialists now that want to live off the government teat.
