Pa. Gov. Tom Wolf and Health Department Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine announced a number of new coronavirus mitigation efforts on Thursday, but they won’t impact classroom learning. The restrictions that go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and last until 8 a.m. on Jan. 4 include, among many other things, a ban on indoor gatherings of 10 people or more. The order signed by Wolf, however, specifically addresses school settings. “Classroom instruction by school entities is not a “gathering” or “event” for purposes of this Order,” it reads. “Nor is a meeting of electors, including any preparation, to perform...

“Today California, tomorrow the world” is the theme of the woke statists up and down the chain, especially those, like Mayor Eric Garcetti and patronage potentate Xavier Becerra, who have been hand picked for national roles by Joe Biden’s operators. They are proudly part of what H.G. Wells once called the “open conspiracy” to reset the globalized West—now, in accordance with what has emerged as a new religion. Through an inescapable social credit system suffusing both public and private life, these officials plan to expropriate our country, our property, and our conscience itself into a vast established church. This is...

Hunter Biden acknowledged today that he has been notified of an active criminal investigation into his tax affairs by the U.S. Attorney for Delaware. Among the numerous prongs of the inquiry, CNN reports, investigators are examining “whether Hunter Biden and his associates violated tax and money laundering laws in business dealings in foreign countries, principally China.” Documents relating to Hunter Biden’s exploitation of his father’s name to enrich himself and other relatives through deals with China were among the cache published in the week before the election by The New York Post — revelations censored by Twitter and Facebook and...

When newly elected California representative Eric Swalwell arrived in Washington, DC, in January 2013, he brought three things with him: a reputation as someone to watch, having bumped off ossified 20-term Democrat incumbent Pete Stark in the primary; a crap ton of ambition; and a Chinese spy he was banging. According to media reports, the spy, Fang “Christine” Fang, latched onto Swalwell around 2011 when he was a new city councilor for Dublin, California. She became a bundler for his campaign in addition to other services performed. Swalwell let her place at least one intern in his congressional office; as...

The threat of a brief government shutdown is growing as the annual defense bill and a stopgap funding measure hit snags that could delay them into the weekend or next week. Senate leadership had hoped to pass both the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and a one-week continuing resolution on Thursday. Instead, multiple senators are delaying the bills, meaning the Senate might fail to pass the stopgap measure before Friday night's deadline, raising the prospect of a government shutdown. “It’s got to get done by tomorrow night at midnight ... or a temporary shutdown,” said Sen. John Thune (S.D.), the...

President Putin is correct not to congratulate Joe Biden on being elected. There are two reasons. The first is that the complex U.S. election process has not finished; therefore, as Trump has not conceded, there is no “President-elect”. The second reason is that the results may be overthrown by reason of fraud. In which case, Putin will, at the end of the story, look smarter than those who rushed to congratulate Biden before the process was complete. *** The evidence for fraud falls under four heads: eyewitness accounts, improbabilities, statistical analysis and the matter of voting machines and their software....

Conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh believes the political landscape in America makes it possible that the nation is âtrending toward secession.â âI actually think that weâre trending toward secession,â Limbaugh surmised. âI see more and more people asking what in the world do we have in common with the people who live in, say, New York?â âWhat is there that makes us believe that there is enough of us there to even have a chance at winning New York, especially if youâre talking about votes?â

Their youths were stolen by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis — and now some New York Holocaust survivors say they’ve had another precious year ripped away by the COVID-19 pandemic. Chanukah begins Thursday, and the light-filled holiday won’t be as bright as other years, when Holocaust survivors gathered close and sang with family and watched the young ones open presents. This year, some of New York’s thousands of Holocaust survivors will go it alone, lighting lonely menorahs nightly in their apartments. Others will get together with family, but maintain a safe distance, so as not to be killed by a...

Gov. Tom Wolf announced new steps Thursday to combat the surge in coronavirus cases, including measures to prohibit indoor dining in restaurants, the closure of casinos and theaters and a temporary halt to scholastic sports. In a news conference, Wolf said he is imposing other limits on all businesses serving the public, capping retailers, barber shops and salons and other businesses to 50% of indoor occupancy limits. Gyms and fitness centers can offer outdoor classes but cannot offer indoor operations. Indoor gatherings are limited to 10 people, the governor’s office said, but churches and other houses of worship are exempt...

These are the moments that make Twitter bearable. Ted Cruz decided to take a swing at Eric Swalwell and his alleged connection to a Chinese intelligence operative whom many have begun to refer to as #FangBang. Ok, so it’s just this editor who has done that but it rhymes and makes us laugh so why not? Ted’s was better, of course:

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul on Thursday blocked swift passage of a $740 billion defense bill over language intended to stop President Trump’s drawdown of troops in Afghanistan. Trump says he will veto the bill for not including repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which gives immunity to social media companies, but the bill passed the House on Tuesday in a veto-proof 335-78 vote. “This bill creates 535 commanders in chief,” Paul said on the Senate floor. The libertarian Republicans said “it’s hypocrisy” for hawkish lawmakers to support presidential power to initiate conflicts, but not to end them....

Earlier this year, Dr. Kory gave testimony on the use of steroids in COVID treatment that revolutionized the standard of care. This week’s testimony is even more game-changing, but Dems want to demonize him. Unlike some of the ‘experts’ who pull a professional opinion out of their ass, or build computer models that have no likeness to reality, this guy has been on the ground, leading treatment efforts within his field of specialty. He defied the ‘conventional wisdom’ of all the ‘official’ voices by showing studies and data that supported the implementation of steroids in the treatment of patients. His...
