The investigation is in response to a complaint filed by US Representative Bill Pascrell, who represents New Jersey, on Election night. Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said in a statement that "The war room needed to be in close proximity to the President and there is no expense whatsoever to American taxpayers"

There is a strange dichotomy in the language of the contemporary church. Much is said and written about the important function of discipling new Christians, while at the same time the function of church discipline has almost vanished. Today, discipline is a word used to refer to the instruction and nurture of the believer. It does not usually carry the connotation of ecclesiastical censure or punishment. In one sense, this modern version of discipling is linked to the New Testament model. The term disciple in the New Testament means “learner.” The disciples of Jesus were students who enrolled in Jesus’...

Street fighting is different from just showing up. There is the movie cliché about never bringing a knife to a gunfight; nothing quite makes the case more than never bringing a Republican to a street fight. We have one party in America that openly wants to fundamentally change our entire form of government into a one-party totalitarian state. They plan to add several states to gain permanent control of the Senate. They pitched adding enough justices to the Supreme Court to change it into a leftist legislative body of last resort. They said the filibuster was toast. If this is...

In September, U.S. intelligence officials warned that because of the pandemic, it might take a few days for the results of the presidential election to emerge - and that foreign adversaries might exploit the delay to spread false information intended to undermine confidence in the vote. But instead of doing that, American officials and private experts say, the Russians and other foreign influencers have appeared content to report on the claims - made with no evidence - by President Trump and his allies that the election is being “stolen” from them. “Nothing that Russia or Iran or China could say...

A rumor circulated widely that more people voted in Wisconsin than were registered. Although not true, it strikes me as an honest mistake. The originator of the rumor was looking at the registration numbers for 2018. More people did vote in Wisconsin in 2020 than were registered in 2018. The real numbers are almost as incredible. In 2020, an astounding 88 percent of those registered to vote seem to have voted. In Ohio, another battleground state, the turnout was a much more typical 68 percent. The highest voter turnout in recent years nationwide was 61.6 percent in 2008. In 2012,...

Facebook has officially shut down “Stop the Steal,” a pro-Trump group which had amassed over 364,000 members in less than 48 hours, for promoting election misinformation regarding ongoing vote counts. With protests over the ongoing tally of votes sweeping through a number of U.S. cities, Facebook tells TIME that it removed the group on Thursday over “worrying calls for violence.” “In line with the exceptional measures that we are taking during this period of heightened tension, we have removed the group ‘Stop the Steal,’ which was creating real-world events,” a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement. “The group was organized...

Neither Trump nor Biden have reached enough electoral votes to be elected president. Several states — Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Georgia — have not been called. In Pennsylvania, Trump’s lead had been trimmed down to less than 20,000 votes as Philadelphia continued to count their tallies. The president said, “we can’t allow anyone to silence our voters and manufacture results.” He insisted during a White House speech that “if you count the legal votes, I easily win.” Several US news networks stopped broadcasting the president’s address after he shared the claims of fraud in states where Mr. Biden is eating...

Twitter banned an account used by former top Trump adviser Steve Bannon after he called for the beheading of Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray on his podcast Thursday. A Twitter spokesperson confirmed to CBS News that, "The @WarRoomPandemic account has been permanently suspended for violating the Twitter Rules, specifically our policy on the glorification of violence." A Twitter source added, "We have policies in place that address clear threats of violence, abuse and harassment, and hateful conduct. If we identify any accounts or content that violate these rules, we'll take enforcement action." As of Thursday evening, Bannon's...

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) said about 1,700 ballots had been identified in Pennsylvania at processing facilities during two sweeps Thursday and were being delivered to election officials. In a court filing early Friday, USPS said 1,076 ballots, had been found at the USPS Philadelphia Processing and Distribution Center. About 300 were found at the Pittsburgh processing center, 266 at a Lehigh Valley facility and others found at other Pennsylvania processing centers. Ballots must be received by Friday evening in Pennsylvania in order to be counted. The vote for the U.S. president remains extremely close and Pennsylvania is...

Throughout this election, there were signs of the birth of a coalition of normal people unhappy with the radical turns our country has been taking. Regardless of how the presidential race turns out, the potential political realignment is unmistakable. Hispanic and blue-collar workers are shifting noticeably away from the overtures of the left-wing, "defund the police" crowd. I'm not sure who thought violence and looting in the streets of so many of our cities would have no political repercussions, but it did, and it brought regular Americans together in a way that bodes well for the future. Our election year...

---SNIP--- But in this universe, where the laws of physics do still apply, giant waves aren’t created by pundits and pollsters like some story told to children. They’re created by people who go to the polls. And people did go to the polls. There was a repudiation. But not the one the left counted on. Whether Trump’s presidency survives the discovery of bushels of late mail-in votes in swing states, and the court challenges to come, the liberal project has been stopped by voters who came out for the president. Without the blue wave, the liberal agenda is on hold,...

Since its founding in the 1930s, Hewlett-Packard has been synonymous with innovation, and many's the engineer who had cause to praise its workhorse oscillators, minicomputers, servers, and PCs. But since the turn of this century, the company's changed its name to HP and its focus to sleazy ways to part unhappy printer owners from their money. Printer companies have long excelled at this dishonorable practice, but HP is truly an innovator, the industry-leading Darth Vader of sleaze, always ready to strong-arm you into a "deal" and then alter it later to tilt things even further to its advantage. The company's...

America stayed up to see if lighting struck to give the race to a landslide for Biden or Trump. It was not to be. In fact, waking up the next morning did not provide any more clarity to the election outcome. The reality is what we are all beginning to understand—America is clearly divided and will remain so for the foreseeable future. It could be said that we are settling into the worst possible situation. No matter who wins, nearly half of America will be sure that the result is tainted, and they will be angry. If Biden wins, Trump...

Racial consideration for college admissions hearkens back to Grutter v. Bollinger, the landmark decision by the Supreme Court in 2003. It held that affirmative action programs can pass muster as long as they are “narrowly tailored” in order to achieve the “compelling interest” of promoting diversity on college campuses. Colleges across the country have since repeatedly cited the ruling as the basis for their use of “holistic” admissions. But the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division isn’t buying that claim from Yale, saying they let skin color play an inordinate role in admissions. It charges that Yale, Harvard, and others are...

Joe Biden is not my President nor will he ever be. Kamala Harris is not my Vice President nor will she ever be. Joe is racist against Christianity and God. Kamala is worse in that regard. All of their talking points are belong to us now.
