MADISON, Wis. — The state is recording an average of more than 4,200 cases a day and the average daily death toll has hit a record high. State leaders are urging Wisconsinites to take the basic steps to stop the spread of COVID-19: wear a mask, physically distance and stay home. “Frankly I’m surprised and disappointed that we’ve had as low success, or we’ve failed as much as we have to slow it,” said Dr. Ryan Westergaard, Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ chief medical officer. Westergaard said data shows 1 in 10 Wisconsinites have been infected, which means many are...

Joe Biden has stumbled into handing President Donald Trump an inadvertent gift. If he plays things right, Trump can splinter the unnaturally broad coalition against him and turn state and local Democrats against their own party’s national machine. Biden has backed himself into a lose-lose situation that’s ripe for autumn picking. Far past his prime, Biden is now a Trojan Horse for extremists backed by a virtual Manchurian Candidate running mate. His handlers have built a tactical alliance so extreme that, with a little push from the president, it will collapse and the broad center of the electorate will be...

Even if Trump loses, he'll remain the most popular Republican in the country—and the leading candidate for the 2024 GOP nomination. Yesterday, President Trump held five rallies in five different states, barnstorming through Michigan, Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. On Saturday, he did four rallies in Pennsylvania alone, including one that drew 57,000 people to the small town of Butler about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh. All Trump rallies are celebratory affairs, but these seemed even more so. Trump himself was in a jaunty mood, doing a little dance to “Y.M.C.A.” on a freezing stage in Michigan, laughing along...

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D) warned that if the Senate confirmed Amy Coney Barrett's appointment to the US Supreme Court "generations yet unborn will suffer. Judge Barrett is inflexibly pro-life in her beliefs. I can't help fearing that somewhere down the road she will find some way to restrict a woman's God-given right to terminate the existence of her unborn child's life. Without access to the merciful option of preventing the live birth of her unwanted child, too many mothers will be forced into a life of servitude to a person who should never have existed. It doesn't take...

Police said participants in Saturday’s rally were arrested and pepper-sprayed because they were blocking the roadway without authorization. Graham Police said Saturday they issued several warnings to the crowd at Alamance County’s courthouse to move from the roadway before releasing pepper spraying and later arresting eight people. A press release from the department said the march organized by Drumwright didn’t have permission to block traffic. Drumwright initially asked police and the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office if authorities could block the roadway for the rally members, but that request was never completed because Drumwright “missed the deadline,” Graham Police said. Police...

If all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose. That’s why he’s working overtime to subtract as many votes as possible from this process. For the record, he’s 0-6 against us in court. We’ve protected voting rights. Now, ignore the noise—vote!

The Democratic Party’s leading members have repeatedly and unapologetically supported sustained sieges of courthouses and police precincts for months on end by their anarcho-marxist shock troops. Their donors and backers have contributed millions to a movement led by “trained Marxists” at whose instruction the most damaging riots in American history have been perpetrated. The Left cannot reject their foot soldiers. Even if they desired to do so, which they do not, it is exactly these forces who will fill the streets in their proposed “Color Revolution” to unseat the president, should Trump indeed appear to be the election winner in...

Since 2001, 2.8 million U.S. based manufacturing jobs have been stolen by Communist China. To put this number into perspective, that’s the entire population of Puerto Rico and enough people to fill Dallas Cowboy’s Football Stadium… 35 times. If these jobs had stayed in the United States, they would have added $133 billion dollars to the U.S. economy each year. These staggering losses were no accident, but rather part of a comprehensive and calculated plan by the Chinese Communist Party to destroy American manufacturing for their own omnipotent gain. Thank God, America is waking up and fighting back. A great...

Larry Schweikart has been tracking the early vote totals. He’s been signaling a Trump win for a bit now... Schweikart's recent (Oct 27, 1:51 PM) thread on Twitter didn’t have to do with the early vote totals. It delved into the real 2020 Democratic playbook, and how they knew two years ago that they probably didn’t have a chance in hell of beating Trump due to the booming economy and frankly a real depth chart issue... So, what does Schweikart think was the Democrats' plan before COVID? He feels that with the Democrats knowing they would be beaten, they wanted...

Schematic depiction of the asymmetric supercapacitor with the porous COF as the negative electrode shown on the left. Credit: KAUST, Osama Shekhah ========================================================================= Carefully designed covalent organic frameworks could make supercapacitor electrodes that have a greater ability to store electric charge. A porous organic material created at KAUST could significantly improve energy storage and delivery by supercapacitors, which are devices that are able to deliver quick and powerful bursts of energy. Supercapacitors use technology that is significantly different from the reversible chemical reactions used in rechargeable batteries. They store electrical energy by building up a separation of positive and electric...

October 30, 2020 Dear Madam Speaker: (Dear Mr. President:) Section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)) provides for the automatic termination of a national emergency unless, within 90 days before the anniversary date of its declaration, the President publishes in the Federal Register and transmits to the Congress a notice stating that the emergency is to continue in effect beyond the anniversary date. In accordance with this provision, I have sent to the Federal Register for publication the enclosed notice stating that the national emergency with respect to Sudan declared in Executive Order 13067 of November 3,...

Just as the fantasy that President Trump “stole” the 2016 election by colluding with Russia was manufactured even before he took office, the Left used the ramp up to November 3rd, 2020 to publish countless articles about how President Donald Trump was going to “steal” the election. Further, the narrative breathlessly informed us, President Trump might unlawfully refuse to leave office—and the military might need to remove him. What’s happening here is obvious: the Democrats used the Wuhan virus as an excuse to change voting rules by means of hundreds of lawsuits before the election. They are set to spring...

On November 3, 1997, by Executive Order 13067, the President declared a national emergency with respect to Sudan pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701-1706) and took related steps to deal with the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States posed by the actions and policies of the Government of Sudan. On April 26, 2006, by Executive Order 13400, the President determined that the conflict in Sudan’s Darfur region posed an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States, expanded the...

Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf is telling voters in his state it may take 'even a few days' to count their votes in a new public service-style ad – as the looming legal battle over the count there takes on a new PR dimension. 'These are unprecedented times. Because of the coronavirus, there were millions of votes cast by mail so it may take longer than usual to count every vote,' he says in a new ad for the nonpartisan group, The Voter Project.

(Courtesy of Bill Combs Jr.) ============================================================================== It’s a scientific fact. Just like some people who lack the means to get from place to place on their own, relying on others for rides, hitchhikers exist in the animal kingdom too. There’s the ray-finned remora fish—also called the “sucker fish” because of its suction cup dorsal fin—specifically adapted to latch onto sharks, to ride and feed in a symbiotic relationship. Less well documented is the small Egyptian plover bird, or crocodile bird, which is rumored to perilously clean the reptile’s teeth by feeding on decaying scraps of meat inside its mouth. A...

For decades, Donald J. Trump was one of the few prominent Americans to recognize the true nature of the Chinese Communist Party and its threat to America’s economic and political way of life. Now, under President Trump’s leadership, the United States is taking action to protect our nation and its partners from an increasingly assertive China. We are no longer turning a blind eye to the People’s Republic of China’s conduct nor are we hiding our criticism of its Communist Party behind closed doors. The speeches included in this book, starting with Vice President Mike Pence’s groundbreaking remarks on October...
