The Trump administration has asked the military how quickly it would be able to pull nuclear weapons out of storage and load them onto bombers and submarines should an arms control treaty with Russian be allowed to expire, a report suggests. Made to the US strategic Command in Nebraska, the request is said to be part of a strategy to pressure Moscow into renegotiating the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) before the US presidential election, three sources told Politico. The Trump administration reportedly believes that making the request outlines how serious they are about letting the agreement lapse should...

The first cruise ship to sail in Greece post-coronavirus lockdown was forced to dock Tuesday after 12 crew tested positive for the contagion, local officials said. The Maltese-flagged Mein Schiff 6 set sail from Heraklion in Crete Sunday evening but its journey was halted following the “unclear positive COVID-19 tests” from 12 of the 666 crew on board, according to Agence France-Presse. The positive cases, however, were later “identified as negative” in two rounds of follow-up tests after local health authorities boarded the docked cruiser, TUI Cruises said.

The main problem with either wind or solar is that they generate electricity erratically, depending on the wind or sunshine. In contrast, a fossil-fuel plant can generate electricity predictably upon request. Blackouts are very expensive for society, so grid operators and designers go to a lot of trouble to make sure that blackouts are rare. The electrical grid should have spare capacity sufficient to meet the largest demand peaks even when some plants are out of commission. Plants in spinning reserve status stand by ready to take over if a plant trips (breaks down). Injecting erratic electricity into the grid...

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, Sept. 28, 2020 -- CATRACHO, the COVID-19 treatment method Honduras is using to save lives, was one of the 150 formulas chosen from 30,000 ones presented at the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) Conference on Coronavirus, with the co-participation of the American Infectious Diseases Association, in Basel, Switzerland. The research presented by Honduran doctors Óscar Díaz, Fernando Valerio and Miguel Sierra, creators of Catracho treatment, will be published as one of the great contributions in reducing deaths by Covid-19. Catracho – as Hondurans are colloquially called – is an acrostic made up of the...

Gun control activist David Hogg got into some hot water with his over 1 million Twitter following on Monday after he encouraged them to partake in non-violent protests. Some of his followers said he was speaking from a place of white privilege and should not be telling minorities what to do. Hogg began the thread by stating how "young people can stage a nonviolent political revolution over the coming decade but it will require all of us voting in consistently high [numbers] EVERY election."

Never in American history has a major political party nominated two candidates for president and vice-president who are so manifestly unfit for the elective offices they seek. Joe Biden, the corrupt, unaccomplished 47-year career politician, with a reputation of having been a proud segregationist, an unabashed plagiarist and liar, a resolute tale-teller, and a serial flip-flopper, is pretending to head up a radical social-democratic ticket for President of the United States that includes as his running mate the ambitious, disagreeable junior senator from California: Kamala Harris. Biden, Obama’s vice-presidential lackey for eight years (a period of unprecedented corruption and personal...

Joe Biden and his wife Jill have been caught funneling millions of dollars of their income through shady S-corporations to avoid paying hundreds of thousands in taxes, according to reports. The bombshell has emerged just days after Joe Biden, the Democrat presidential nominee, attacked President Donald Trump over his taxes. According to a report by the Wall Street Journal’s Chris Jacobs, former Vice President Biden used a series of tax code loopholes to avoid paying taxes on millions of dollars of his family's income over the years.

I believe the Democratic Party and the Biden campaign should be indicted and charged with elder abuse for what they're doing to Joe Biden. Look, I don't like rats or groundhogs, but I don't want to see them tortured endlessly for the exclusive benefit of the torturer. That's exactly how I feel about Biden. It's a fact and attested to by his closest friends on Capitol Hill: Biden is at or near the very end of the line when it comes to brains. Newt Gingrich, among others who have known Biden for many years, admits publicly that Biden is a...

The New York Times’s "blockbuster" expose on President Trump’s tax returns and financial health seems on one hand to be intent on condemning President Trump and the Trump Organization for not paying taxes while on the other hand attempting to demonstrate that he has chronic economic losses. It is a balancing act in which the authors fail miserably. The New York Times (NYT) offered up what they believe is a treasure trove of information regarding the Trump Organization’s taxes. The NYT indicated they have tax return data for both President Trump and hundreds of his companies from more than two...

This year, Brooklyn resident Kabeer Malhotra requested an absentee ballot for the first time, hoping to avoid the perils of a voting booth during the coronavirus pandemic. But when he tore open his ballot on Monday, he found an alarming error: A return envelope with someone else’s name printed on the front. Malhotra wasn’t alone. Numerous New Yorkers reported Monday that they had received mixed-up return envelopes, which could invalidate their votes if they tried to mail them in.

Biden campaign asking for two breaks during the 90 minute commercial free showdown................. CLEVELAND -- President Trump is asking for an additional ground rule ahead of Tuesday night’s first presidential debate between himself and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Fox News has learned that the president’s re-election campaign wants the Biden campaign to allow a third party to inspect the ears of each debater for electronic devices or transmitters. The president has consented to this kind of inspection, but Biden has not, so far, sources said. Over the last several weeks, the former vice president's campaign has also requested two...

Icouldn’t believe it when I saw it this morning, but it’s true: Though some might conclude the lesson here is, “If Uncle Chuckie be for me, who can be against me?”, in fact I think it has a lot to do with the power of Tucker Carlson, who had me on his show last night. I’ve cued the broadcast to the point where my fathead self appears:

No one in America should be privileged because of the color of their skin or ethnicity. Today, thanks to higher education’s transformation to an industry immersed in aversion to Americas, the words of Martin Luther King have been turned on their head. Skin color, or as Peter Wood from the National Association of Scholars labels it, “identitarian indignation” reigns supreme and character is irrelevant. Trying to ameliorate one human inequity by creating another is a fool’s errand birthed in the academy through a devotion to the Marxist postulates of postmodernism and critical race theory, painting America as a wretched nation....

The New York City Board of Elections is blaming a vendor for an egregious error on absentee ballots mailed to voters in Brooklyn that could cause their votes to be thrown out–even if they follow the rules to the letter. The reason is that the absentee ballots were sent out with return envelopes that were mismatched and bear the names and addresses of other voters so that if the person signs the envelope with their own name it won’t be counted as the signature would not match the name on the mistakenly sent return envelope.Incorrect return envelope image via...

The Portland Police Association, the union for front-line police officers, has been a frequent target of protests, as well as graffiti and attempts at more serious property damage, including fires. As about 150 protesters arrived at the union office, police announced via loudspeaker that nearby streets remained open to auto traffic and that the sidewalk in front of the union building was closed. People who stood there, police said, could be subject to force including impact munitions and pepper spray. Some demonstrators nonetheless stood in the street. A handful stood in front of the building and tagged the building with...

Police officers in a majority of states are now mandated to receive “implicit bias training,” where they are informed they are subconsciously racist and must admit to and deliberately overcome their racism. The trainings, which exploded in popularity following the Ferguson riots in 2014, directly respond to accusations that racist police officers are shooting unarmed African Americans. Following the death of George Floyd, multiple states, including Michigan, New Jersey, and Texas, joined the list of states mandating the training for all their officers. Harvard’s University’s Implicit Association Test, the foundation of the idea of implicit bias, shows that a majority...

Contrary to the false impression in the New York Times story, Donald Trump did not avoid taxes. He prepaid them. In 2016 and 2017, he requested and got an extension to file his returns. As required, he made an estimated tax payment of $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million in 2017. Then, it turned out that he did not owe that much in taxes, but rather than demand the money back, he let the IRS keep it and apply it to any future tax he owed.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem Lambs, Sheep, and Shepherds. Genesis 41 Pharaoh’s Dreams 41 When two full years had passed, Pharaoh had a dream: He was standing by the Nile, 2 when out of the river there came up seven cows, sleek and fat, and they grazed among the reeds. 3 After them, seven other cows, ugly and gaunt, came up out of the Nile and stood beside those on the riverbank. 4 And the cows that were ugly and gaunt ate up the seven sleek, fat cows. Then Pharaoh woke up. 5 He fell asleep again and had a second dream: Seven...
