The Portland Police Association, the union for front-line police officers, has been a frequent target of protests, as well as graffiti and attempts at more serious property damage, including fires.
As about 150 protesters arrived at the union office, police announced via loudspeaker that nearby streets remained open to auto traffic and that the sidewalk in front of the union building was closed. People who stood there, police said, could be subject to force including impact munitions and pepper spray.
Some demonstrators nonetheless stood in the street. A handful stood in front of the building and tagged the building with graffiti.
Officers arrived shortly after, standing in the roadway between the largest group of protesters and the Portland Police Association building. Police made several arrests and surrounded the union building, preventing protesters from approaching.
The rioters also started a racist attack on black cops calling them cons and race traitors A rioter can be heard also saying “skin-folk ain’t yo kin-folk.”

A few moments later the crowd cheered after an officer was hit in the head with what looks to be a firework that was thrown by the rioters.

Portland PD gave an official statement about the attack.
"Objects were thrown at officers. At least two people have been arrested."
Well, now it’s not a question if All Lives Matter it’s a question if all Black Lives Matter, racism at it’s best!
I just have an awful feeling in my gut that the elections won’t solve our problems..though I WANT Trump to win very much!!
It makes our problems a lot easier to tackle with him in charge.

There was an amusing taunt of the police on a live-stream, last night. A loud-mouthed female yelled “Why did the police get to the protest early? “ “To beat the crowd.” Most of the rest was just ugly jibes meant to demoralize. I did enjoy the take-downs of a few protesters, though, and the repeated calls by one of them for the police to get away from her car. She seemed awfully concerned about property when it was hers. And a soi-boi repeatedly lamenting that he lost his $120 vape when the mob was run out of the 7-11 parking lot. Someone made off with his pack, and he kept coming back to search the trash cans and look under the propane exchange display.

I wonder how portland is going to protect polling places as peoples freedom to go to and from the polls on election day.
Good question. I imagine that most people will just not vote, or their votes have already been submitted by the Democrat party

I know. I think regardless of who wins, it’s going to be a sh— storm in the streets. But it’ll be way worse if Biden looses from what we’ve seen so far.
