Irked that Californians are starting to flout his demand that they stay at home, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced the release of seven prisoners into the Orange County area. Orange County District Attorney Toff Spitzer objected to the action saying “these kinds of high-risk sex offenders are the most dangerous kind of criminal and the most likely to re-offend.” “That’s precisely the reason why these inmates were selected for release,” Newsom said. “Look, fear of COVID has diminished to the point that thousands of people in Orange County have defied my ban on going to the beach. Let’s see if...

The coronavirus pandemic has altered the horse racing schedule in a big way. The Kentucky Derby has been postponed until Sept. 5, but horse racing does return for live action this weekend in the form of the Arkansas Derby at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Arkansas Derby is usually a prep race for the Kentucky Derby, but was moved to the first Saturday in May after the Run for the Roses was moved to Saturday, Sept. 5 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The race offers 170 total Kentucky Derby qualifying points for each division. The winner...

A little background first:The Deep State's Department of Defence and CIA (e.g., Clinton, Obama and more) backed the development of LifeLog, a social media site intended to surveille the public electronically by getting them to volunteer and share socially information that the weaponized intel would harvest.See if you can perceive the similarities between DARPA's LifeLog program and Facebook:LIFELOG captures, stores, and makes accessible the flow of one person's experience in and interactions with the world in order to support a broad spectrum of associates/assistants and other system capabilities. The objective of the LifeLog concept was "to be able to trace...

With many Americans eager to get back to work, state governors across the country are responding with their plans for giving everyone permission to be normal human beings again. One state governor is enjoying universal acclaim after unveiling his own innovative plan for getting his state reopened. The new plan is called 'Our Vision for Health, Safety, Virtue, and Eternal Peace' and is a 37-step, 10-year plan for slowly opening up sections of the state economy. It reads as follows: 1. Form an exploratory committee to consult various experts on reopening things 2. Set date to hear recommendations from the...

The press has been gushing about the performance of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for weeks. The media often compares Cuomo’s “decisive” response to the coronavirus pandemic to the president, and guess who always wins? Whether it’s good PR from the governor’s office or just the media worshipping a liberal who says mean things about Donald Trump, it hardly matters. What matters is results. And in that department, Andrew Cuomo has been a miserable failure — using several metrics. And it’s not just the numbers. The panicky, sometimes hysterical New York governor began whining about the federal government (specifically the...

Cardinal Robert Sarah In this exclusive interview with the Daily Compass, the Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments intervenes on the subject of “take away” Communion and on the “negotiations” underway to guarantee its taken with the correct precautions. No compromise, “the Eucharist is a gift we receive from God and we must receive it in a dignified way. We are not at the supermarket.” “No-one has the right to prevent a priest from hearing Confession and giving Communion.” “ There is a rule and this must be respected, the faithful are...

When I first saw this, I thought it must be a typo. But this is no mistake or joke: While more than half the states in the U.S. have now lifted stay-at-home orders, the people of Oregon will remain imprisoned within their homes for another two solid months, thanks to their stupid decision to elect Democrat Kate Brown as their governor. Gov. Brown announced on Friday that she was extending her order through Â… wait for it Â… July 6! Here is the text of the order: Office of the Governor State of Oregon EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 20-24 EXTENDING THE...

Over three weeks ago, hydroxychloroquine was all the rage in MAGA world, despite flawed and scattered evidence about whether the drug could help cure coronavirus. Now there is another drug, remdesivir, with positive early scientific data. Much of MAGA world wants little to do with it. At first, it may seem like a head-scratching response. President Donald Trump’s base has been quick to trumpet any potential solutions to the coronavirus pandemic - especially those Trump himself promotes - regardless of the red flags from medical experts. But with remdesivir, it’s the Trump-boosting pundits who are raising the red flags, even...

A leaked document from the "Five Eyes" intelligence alliance – made up of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand – shows China purposefully hid and/or destroyed evidence about the Wuhan coronavirus. Specifically, the alliance said the Chinese Communist Party's cover-up can be described as an "assault on international transparency." Australia's The Saturday Telegraph obtained a copy of the 15-page report which concluded China put other countries in grave danger by covering up different aspects of the coronavirus, including the fact that it can be transmitted from human-to-human, doctors magically "disappearing" when trying to talk about...

An update to my reporting on Brad Birkenfeld. He was imprisoned by the Justice Department, while rewarded beyond his wildest dreams by the IRS. Now he's going on the offense against what he says was the corrupt actions by the Justice Department in 2007.

I have a friend who reps a possible treatment for Covid-19, something that's been on the market for years and is inexpensive. Does anyone have a connection at the White House he could reach out to directly? He has already contacted the CDC but I'm suspecting it will find it's way into the circular file if Fauci has anything to do with it.

New York (CNN Business)Berkshire Hathaway, the massive conglomerate run by billionaire Warren Buffett, posted a nearly $50 billion net loss in the first quarter -- the biggest loss ever for the storied company. Berkshire, which owns companies including Geico auto insurer, Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad, Dairy Queen, Duracell and many other financial, industrial and consumer firms, has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. Just like the rest of the market and economy. The company said in a regulatory filing Saturday morning that before the coronavirus hit the United States in mid-March, many of Berkshire's businesses were posting revenue...

...I do not know what will happen over the summer or beyond. Nobody does. No honest person could ever claim to. But I fear more for my liberty than my life. Like Patrick Henry, I would rather die than live under the crushing weight of anybody's boot. This isn't courage. It is nothing more than sheer hard-bitten realism. A virus can only kill me — but Big Brother's prying eye and heavy fist can make my life a misery to the end of my days. History has no shortage of examples. Death is unavoidable. I must believe that totalitarianism, at...

Coronavirus NSW: Dossier lays out case against China bat virus program China deliberately suppressed or destroyed evidence of the coronavirus outbreak in an “assault on international transparency’’ that cost tens of thousands of lives, according to a dossier prepared by concerned Western governments on the COVID-19 contagion. The 15-page research document, obtained by The Saturday Telegraph, lays the foundation for the case of negligence being mounted against China. It states that to the “endangerment of other countries” the Chinese government covered-up news of the virus by silencing or “disappearing” doctors who spoke out, destroying evidence of it in can also...

The mosaics and sculptures from the House of the Faun in Pompeii. Think of these as the ultimate jigsaw puzzles for archeologists. A selection of still lifes, aquatic life mosaics, as well as a complex battle scene between Alexander the Great and Darius. The artistry is truly astonishing. If you enjoy humor as well as beauty, I'd also recommend "Journal of Alexander the Great" by Henry Livingston (1793), which describes what REALLY went on in that very battle.

A research dossier compiled by the so-called “Five Eyes” intelligence alliance, that reportedly concludes China intentionally hid or destroyed evidence of the coronavirus pandemic, is consistent with U.S. findings about the origins of the outbreak so far, senior U.S. officials told Fox News on Saturday. The 15-page document from the intelligence agencies of the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand, was obtained by Australia's Saturday Telegraph newspaper and finds that China's secrecy amounted to an “assault on international transparency." The dossier, which is likely to further increase pressure on the Chinese government to explain its actions and early...

...Because you’re wearing one, you’re mad at anyone else who isn’t. You can’t say with any real certainty or evidence that you know you’re right to wear one, or that the other person is wrong not to. But that’s what you were told, and you believed it. So you decided to get a mask and wear it and yes it’s a pain but you believe it’s part of a noble, collective effort to work together and do something big. And so when you see someone who isn’t wearing a mask, you take it personally. You’ve been told that that person...

A Texas park ranger cautioned a group about coronavirus social distancing - only to get pushed into a lake. A recording of the incident shows the Commons Ford Metropolitan Park ranger asking a group gathered on the docks of Lake Austin to “disperse” because people were not standing six feet apart. The group was unlawfully drinking and smoking in the public park, as well. Just after someone tells the ranger “I got you,” a man runs up and pushes the ranger into the water. The man fell in as well, but he managed to climb out first and flee. Brandon...

A new Democratic-aligned political action committee advised by retired Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the former head of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, is planning to deploy technology originally developed to counter Islamic State propaganda in service of a domestic political goal - to combat online efforts to promote President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic. The group, Defeat Disinfo, will use artificial intelligence and network analysis to map discussion of the president's claims on social media. It will seek to intervene by identifying the most popular counter-narratives and boosting them through a network of more than 3.4 million influencers across...
