The very thing Forests4Oregon has been preaching and praying about is here. The Trump administration has proposed opening 2.5 million acres of the O&C forests in the western portion of Oregon to logging. This will create millions of dollars in forestry revenue to the Counties as part of the proposal is for the counties to receive 75% of the forestry receipts.
We are pushing a phone and email campaign to the Bureau of Land Management who will be facilitating this proposal which the Sierra Club has already activated their troops. This is the biggest reversal of the mismanagement of Oregon forests in fifty years.
They are offering a billion board feet of timber in some of the most valuable forests in the world. This represents only 8% of the total fifty thousand square miles of federal land and the O&C has become the biggest boondoggle for its maintenance costs with no return due to Sierra Club declaration of off limits. The Trump administration is saying no to the Sierra Thugs.
The Oregon candidates just got handed a golden opportunity to win the elections in November.
While the Kotax Dims will be pushing the More Gas Tax bills, Repubs will be saying no to it and now can say Oregon can harvest the vast renewable resources to provide timber revenues to fund schools, repair roads and infrastructure with no money from their pockets.
The byproduct of these green jobs and dollars will be healthier forests, wildlife, cleaner air and water. There will be a reduction of forest fires with far less damage to the ground once the dead wood is removed. Oregon can finally take the first step of properly managing these massive resources to begin to make it one of the wealthiest and most diverse domestic economies in America.
Take five minutes to phone or write your support of the proper stewardship of our forests as was intended by God for his Creation. It is time for Oregonians to stop worshiping the trees which is killing the forests. Return these O&C Lands to the people now.

The current battle rages around freedom of the seas. 20% of the worlds crude oil goes through the straits of Hormuz controlled by Iran. Currently, the crazy Iranians have just enough weaponry,mines, go-fast boats armed with weapony and missiles to stop much of the transit by ships carrying Crude oil.
Our President has threatened those in charge,nut case islamos, with severe damage to the infrastructure of Iran if the straits are not opened in 48 hours.
The clock is running.
Some may wonder why crude oil is of such importance after years and years of re-enigneering space craft that travel unbelievable distances. furthermore they don't have the need to fill up with 93 octane every 500 miles.
