ROME — Both China and Taiwan have donated masks and medical supplies to the Vatican in recent days but while the Vatican thanked China publicly it has kept silent over Taiwan’s generosity. As Breitbart News reported, on April 9 the Vatican issued a glowing public statement thanking the People’s Republic of China for donations of medical supplies to combat the spread of the coronavirus, calling the gesture a sign of China’s “solidarity” with the Holy See. (snip) On April 14, Taiwan’s Embassy to the Holy See released a statement announcing they had donated 280,000 medical masks to the Vatican, the...

Selina Meyer might not have faith in Americans, but the woman who plays her, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, absolutely does. “The American people are go-getters,” she says in the new issue of PEOPLE. “When there’s a problem, they roll up their sleeves.” The star, 59, who is isolating in California with husband Brad Hall, 62, and sons Henry, 28, and Charlie, 23, has been watching the coverage and witnessing the determination shown by people as they power through the coronavirus pandemic. It’s one of the reasons she believes climate change can also be overcome. For example, she cites, simple changes make a...

Merriam-Webster Definition of life-sustaining: helping someone or something to stay alive: supporting or extending life Michigan’s Governor Whitmer, explaining why abortions are deemed essential under her house arrest rules but hip/knee replacements are not: “You know, we stopped elective surgeries here in Michigan, and some people have tried to say that that type of a procedure is considered the same, and that’s ridiculous,” Whitmer responded. “You know, a woman’s health care, her whole future, her ability to decide if and when she starts a family is not an election, it is a fundamental to her life.” Whitmer continued, “It...

Yep. This pretty much sums it up. The “Secretary of Health” in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is a literal madman, a person who just a few short decades ago would have been locked up in a mental hospital for his own protection. This is no exaggeration. This madman, Dr. Richard Levine, is a notorious sex pervert, who has now mutilated his body and wears women’s clothing. In the press he is referred to as “Rachel Levine”. THIS MADMAN IS HOLDING THE CITIZENS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA UNDER HOUSE ARREST AND HAS SUSPENDED ALL RIGHTS UNDER THE CONSTITUTION BY HIS...

It is untenable to lock down much of the country until a proven-safe vaccine is available in a year or more. Thus, we need to adapt and prepare for life in the time of coronavirus. By the time we get back to normal, normal will be different. The Chinese coronavirus is a once in a generation plague, perhaps once in a century. Humanity is better equipped to respond to it than at any time in history, but there is still no easy way through this pestilence. A time of death and economic hardship was inevitable once the Chinese communists tried...

We have an effective therapy, have had it since before 2009. Fauci begged to use HCQ during the MERS outbreak in 2009. Now we have SARS-2, the Wuhan Boogaloo. We have a MOUNTAIN of empirical evidence that HCQ/Zinc is prophylactic and HCQ/Zinc/Antibiotic is a therapy for the infected. Remdesivir is tested on 125 people with good results (and two deaths), but NOW there's hope? Sorry, smells horrible.

The federal Bureau of Prisons has notified Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former personal attorney, that he will be released early from prison due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to people familiar with the matter and his lawyer. Cohen is serving a three-year sentence at the federal prison camp in Otisville, NY, where 14 inmates and seven staff members at the complex have tested positive for the virus. Cohen was scheduled for release in November 2021, but he will be allowed to serve the remainder of his sentence from home confinement, the people said. He will have to undergo a...

I asked in a column a few weeks ago, “Are you paranoid enough?” And the answer has come back. It’s “No.” That reply was official. We submitted it through proper channels to the relevant elites. They got back to us really promptly. It was absolute and definitive, as if on official letterhead. Question Censorship? Get Censored What do I mean? Well, in case you don’t recall, my column reviewed a powerful new media documentary by journalist Mike Cernovich. The film’s called Hoaxed. Here’s a snippet of what I said about it then: In Hoaxed, Cernovich offers a detailed, fine-grained picture...

The mayor of Jacksonville, Fla., said that the city's beaches and parks are will reopen at 5 p.m. Friday, but with restrictions as the coronavirus outbreak continues across the state and country. I had an account on Freezoxee. Suddenly it disappeared. Does anyone know what happened to it? Did it morph into a different platform, or just fade away (gone broke?)? Has anything replaced it?

After 92 years, the Native American woman on the packaging of Land O’Lakes products has finally been released from her tenure as an advertising icon. The farmer-owned dairy cooperative, which produces butter, cheese and other milk products, has dropped the Native American maiden image from its packaging, opting instead for just a landscape. The logo, which has been the company’s label for nearly 100 years since it was founded in Minnesota in 1921, has been called “racist” and criticized for its use of the “butter maiden.”

Colleges across the US have kicked residential students out of their dorms in an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. But for 19-year-old John, who is transgender and gay, losing student housing has left him with a difficult choice: Go back into the closet or be forced to live on the streets. John, who did not want his name used in fear for his safety, said he is now stuck in a rural Kansas town where he continuously gets death threats for his gender and sexual identity. His parents, who he said are aware of the threats, refuse...

He's on-the-air. One of America's very best Talk Radio Show Hosts, IMO: Chris Plante from WMAL in DC. His show is the "prep work" for many other shows. And, unlike the others, he pulls no punches, tells it like it is and doesn't take any guff from liberal, leftist or commie/socialist/fascist callers. He's the guy we'd all like to sit down with and have a cheeseburger and a cold one, while talking about the state of America, and the crazies who are pulling the strings, behind-the-scenes. Get a fresh refill of your favorite coffee, a warm croissant, the Hoppe's Cleaning...

It’s just the flu, bro. Trump has said it is up to the states. The states will likely defer somewhat to the counties and cities. The final domino after that will be the Fearbros and Fearbras. They aren’t just on freerepublic. These people are everywhere. Businesses need the Fearbros and Bras to shift their panic to something unrelated to commercial activity. Full disclosure - my spouse may be a Fearbra. I don’t see her fear going away quickly. There is now going to be a major social stigma around coughing, for example, that will trigger Fearbros and Fearbras to hold...

Our nation's leaders are demanding that American children pay for this crisis through debt-financed spending, while depriving them of the education they need to make that even remotely possible. One of the many significant but underappreciated effects of U.S. politicians’ response to coronavirus is their pre-emptive mass school shutdowns. It is likely these shutdowns will harm the next generation far beyond the trillions in government spending these children will someday be forced to pay off for previous generations. For one thing, the school shutdowns will cripple children’s economic future by depriving them of up to an entire year of learning. That’s...

Right now I’ve accounted for, and I’m very sorry to say this, $7.5 billion in lost revenue that we now know is going to hit this city,” de Blasio said. “We are one of the capitals of this country in terms of economic power and economic impact, and you know all that we do to help the American economy be strong, but we are not going to be able provide basic services in this city because we’ve got nowhere else to turn to get that kind of money.” The Mayor fell short of criticizing President Trump or Vice President Pence...
