Authorities say a drunk woman survived being hit by a slow-moving train after she partially fell asleep on the tracks Tuesday morning. Authorities say they found the woman near the tracks at 4:45 a.m. near Washington Avenue on Dixie Highway. Fire officials say the woman was hit by a slow-moving train in Lake Worth Beach. Authorities say she does not have life-threatening injuries. It is not immediately clear which rail line was involved. Officials did not immediately release additional details.

On Friday, New York City's health department sent out a health alert to thousands of physicians instructing them to only test for COVID-19 in patients that require hospitalization.
