The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has come under fire for their handling of the coronavirus pandemic and examining what they devote their limited resources toward shows that the anger that has developed toward the bureaucracy is well-deserved. Journalist Daniel Greenfield noted in Front Page Mag that the CDC has focused on liberal causes du jour rather than their mandate of actually keeping Americans safe from legitimate public health crises. Greenfield noted that one of the social justice causes that have been pushed by the CDC are unconstitutional gun control schemes.

The media are piling on President Trump for not instilling confidence during the COVID-19 crisis: "There is no new Trump." "Don't be fooled." "The new Trump is the same as the old Trump." "He's incapable of leading us out of it." "Trump shrugs off responsibility." "He's putting the blame on the Chinese." "Trump is fundamentally unfit — intellectually, morally, temperamentally and psychologically." The media could not be more wrong. As explained in my book, Psychologically Sound: The Mind of Donald J. Trump, his personality — replete with intelligence, imagination, consistency, charisma, organization, and optimism — is well designed for modern...

President Trump ripped The New York Times on Monday for repeatedly changing a headline on an article regarding a trillion-dollar coronavirus relief package "to satisfy the radical left," calling the modifications "corrupt" and "dangerous" for the U.S. "The New York Times changed headlines 3 times in order to satisfy the Radical Left. What should have been a good story got 'worse & worse', until the headline alone made it very unfair," the president tweeted. "Fake & Corrupt News that is very dangerous for our Country!" Trump's ire came after the Times changed the original headline on an article, "Democrats Block...

One year, I decided to buy my mother-in-law a cemetery plot as a Christmas gift… The next year, I didn’t buy her a gift. When she asked me why I replied, “Well, you still haven’t used the gift I bought you last year!” And that’s how the fight started… THE MARINE PILOT The teacher gave her 5th-grade class an assignment: Get their parents to tell them a story w/a moral at the end of it. The next day, the kids came back &, one by one began to tell their stories. There were all the regular types of stuff: Spilled...

We are constantly bombarded with the "fact" that the mortality rate from the Wuhan flu is 3%. It's surprising that we aren't being told a higher number, because in Hubei Province, China, there have been 59,114 cases with 3,111 deaths, for a rate of 5.3%. But this only tells us about how many who died had been confirmed to have Wuhan flu. Were there other deaths that weren’t confirmed or other cases that never got sick enough to get tested? Science magazine reports that 86% of infections are never documented. This would mean that the Hubei mortality rate is actually...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) worked to scupper the phase-three coronavirus relief package on Sunday after Majority Whip James Clyburn (D., S.C.) told caucus members last week that the bill was “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” Clyburn’s comments came on a Thursday call featuring more than 200 House Democrats, during which caucus members laid out a list of provisions they wanted to be included in the Senate’s trillion-dollar package. Republicans have said that Democrats have reportedly demanded increased bargaining powers for unions, as well as environmental regulations for airlines and more wind and solar...

INDIANAPOLIS — Governor Eric Holcomb has ordered Hoosiers to stay home as the state and country continue to try and fight the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. “The next two weeks are critical if we are to slow the spread of COVID-19, and we must slow the spread. You must be part of the solution, not the problem,” said Gov. Holcomb.

A federal judge in Los Angeles has rejected a plea from prominent convicted lawyer Michael Avenatti to be released from jail because of the risk he could contract the coronavirus. U.S. District Court Judge James Selna turned aside Avenatti’s claims that a bout he had with pneumonia last September puts him in grave danger if COVID-19 begins to rampage through federal prisons like the Manhattan detention center where he’s currently locked up. Avenatti, who was convicted by a New York federal court jury last month on charges of trying to extort shoemaking giant Nike and is facing other federal charges...

Oh my! Here is Joe Biden, trying to upstage President Trump by doing his own “Coronavirus Briefing,” and it goes horribly wrong! Biden is clearly reading canned remarks off a teleprompter. But then the teleprompter appears to fail. Biden starts mumbling and stumbling. He has no idea what to say. You can see him gesturing with his hand. Good grief. President Trump walks out literally every day now, speaks clearly and takes dozens of questions, answering without any help from a teleprompter. . . .

Regarding chloroquine, the science is on his side, not the New York Times'.At Thursday’s White House press briefing, President Trump and FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn announced that the FDA has approved the “compassionate use” of the antimalarial drug chloroquine to treat patients infected with Coronavirus 2019 (“COVID-19”). Under extreme or exigent circumstances, the FDA may permit physicians to medicate patients with experimental drugs. The term “compassionate use” ordinarily refers to dosing a patient with a drug that has not been approved by the FDA for any purpose.

We call Clay Jenkins, Howdy Doody, around here, and Buffalo Nancy is controlling his strings, while Dr. Phillip Huang is acting like Clarribelle the clown. Howdy and Claribelle show bad sanitary conditions around 3:00 minutes in, with a unsanitary microphone exchange while Howdy lectures us.

Gov. Tony Evers on Monday said he is preparing to order Wisconsinites to stay in their homes starting this week to fend off the coronavirus outbreak that is ravaging populations worldwide. The governor's order will require nearly all workers in the state to work remotely or lose their jobs by closing all workplaces that aren't deemed essential. Restaurants and bars may stay open but only for delivery and curbside pick-up orders. The Democratic governor made the announcement on Twitter just three days after saying he did not think he would have to issue such an order but that he would...

...The highlights so far: ONE-TIME CHECKS TO AMERICANS The measure would provide a quick, one-time stipend of about $1,200 per individual, $2,400 for couples, and $3,000 for family of four. The money would cut off at higher income levels. PAYCHECK SUPPORT An estimated $350 billion would be provided for small businesses to keep making payroll. Companies with 500 or fewer employees could tap up to $10 million each in forgivable small business loans to keep paychecks flowing. UNEMPLOYMENT EXPANSION Establishes a new, much more generous unemployment benefit by adding $600 per week to normal state benefits for up to four...

President Trump recently stated that illegal immigrants will not be deported if they get tested for coronavirus. While speaking at the White House Sunday, the president said U.S. hospitals will test everyone with symptoms regardless of their immigration status. He added that deportations of infected immigrants will be delayed to prevent further spread of the virus. White House officials have said immigration enforcement agents will not be looking for illegal immigrants in hospitals during the ongoing outbreak. President Trump went on to say his goal is to identify all cases of coronavirus and defeat the illness. Central American migrants seeking...

Since the advent of coronavirus, America has had little time or energy for, or interest in anything else. We try to keep up with the latest mortality rates, the number of infected, the spread, and all the other moving parts associated with the virus, and I do mean moving parts because the situation changes so rapidly, sometimes on an hourly basis. Well now, we at least have a plan of action and as painful as it may be, it seems the only meaningful path we have open to us. I have decided to shelter in place for the next three...

I've always thought myself a bit of a cynic. So when I heard Peter Shiff comment that the Fed will elect to buy stocks, ushering in back door Communism, I mentally backed off the idea a half-step. Now, with the Fed offering just that reveals the game that the Fed, along with the Democrats in Congress are playing. They wish to execute a Communist takeover. Why else would Democrats hold up aid to Americans when we are most vulnerable? Pelosi has been screaming about nationalizing the healthcare industry. Schumer, on the other hand, wants to nationalize the power grid. This...
