Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins Orders Residents To Shelter-In-Place Starting Monday(and does unsanitary practice)
CBSDFW 11 ^ | 03/22/20 | CBSDFW

We call Clay Jenkins, Howdy Doody, around here, and Buffalo Nancy is controlling his strings, while Dr. Phillip Huang is acting like Clarribelle the clown.

Howdy and Claribelle show bad sanitary conditions around 3:00 minutes in, with a unsanitary microphone exchange while Howdy lectures us.

It's the anti-Howdy Doody show.

Worst case scenario:

Well-disciplined militias need to get together with OUR sons, OUR daughters, OUR nieces and OUR nephews...in other words OUR armed forces in case SHTF by POLITICOS & PROPAGANDISTS foreign and domestic. CONGRE$$ won’t declare foreign war, but they are running asymmetric war on us. R.I.P. Jim, John, Rick. Great young men. Friends. Just in case.

Not sure I understand how a judge exercises such authority.

I know Phillip Huang. I went to high school with him. We were in band together. Saw him back in October at a band reunion. He’s smart and a good guy.

Clay Jenkins is a Dallas County judge, star at the top of the pyramid in local politics. He thinks he can rule by decree and in Dallas County I guess he can. Truth be told, that scum butt democRAT doesn’t even live in Dallas County. He lives in Waxahachie, in an adjacent county. Shouldn’t there be a law about that?

You would think the normal limits of a judges authority would be interpretation or forcing compliance to established law.

In some states judges and justices of the peace are empowered and even required to make decisions like closing down facilities (communities) for public health reasons. I don't know if Texas is one of those states.

In Texas, County judges have the final say when it comes to health matters, if I remember correctly. That way local issues can be dealt with without having to go to the state. This is also why he was front and center a couple of years back when the Dallas nurse caught Ebola.

https://www.county.org/About-Texas-Counties/%E2%80%8BAbout-Texas-County-Officials/%E2%80%8BTexas-County-Judge

What Does a County Judge Do in Texas?

Presiding officer of the commissioners court
Represents the county in many administrative functions
Serves as budget officer in counties with fewer than 225,000 residents
Most have broad judicial duties, such as presiding over misdemeanor criminal and small civil cases, probate matters and appeals from the Justice of the Peace Court
Serves as head of emergency management

See posts #12 and 13 on the previous thread. He is the top elected official in Dallas County, above all others. He has the legal authority to give this order. This is not saying that he should, only that he can.

How is a judge able to order a lockdown? That is pure executive power.

In Texas, the county judge is more of an executive position.

An organized militia is the fastest way possible to get rolled up and wiped out. The days of the 31st Illinois or 55th Massachusetts are long gone.

The World Health Organization put the death rate at a seriously false inflated rate, tanking the world economy, and yet we have some people still hyping the fear saying this will get worse (the death rate will go back up) when they don’t know this as it dropped from 4.06% to 1.25% in less than a month.

It may go up and it may not, we don’t know, but they know all. But all we actually have with knowable certainty and not the rampant seculation on their part are the stats we have right now as the WHO seems incompetent, yet they seem to trust them.
