In my last post, I featured little-discussed (and natural) weapons to fight Coronavirus—namely sleep, rest, meditation/prayer and food choices. Today, I want to speak briefly about three more natural weapons—fresh air, sunlight, and exercise. One thing we have to remember about natural weapons is that they can be easily overlooked, because they are simple and free or low cost. Fresh air, sunlight, and exercise are exactly that. Fresh Air and Sun Power! A recent Medium article, Coronavirus and the Sun: A Lesson from the 1918 Influenza Pandemic, well-explained the value of these natural powerhouses. Here’s the money quote: Put simply,...

Emily Annette made the video after going to the grocery store and encountering a hysterical woman who was yelling at a grocery store clerk who just happened to touch his own face while he was ringing up groceries. Americans are being bombarded with orders to wash their hands frequently and to avoid touching their faces. People have lost their minds and this woman’s rant was just the perfect comic relief we needed during this stressful time. “Ya’ll, there are so many stupid people in this world,” she said referring to low IQ people freaking out over the Coronavirus. Low-level offenses that don’t jeopardize public safety will not be prosecuted in Brooklyn amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said Tuesday. The measure is part of an effort for his office to implement social distancing practices in order to limit potential exposure to the virus for employees and visitors, Gonzales said. “During this public health emergency, it is imperative that we also protect those who might be exposed to the coronavirus during the procedures of arrest, processing and detention in Central Booking,” he said in a statement posted to Twitter. “The FDA, in conjunction with our federal and international partners, will continue to help advance response efforts to combat the COVID-19 outbreak, and that includes warning consumers against becoming victims of health fraud and taking action to stop health scams.â€Be wary of anyone claiming they can cure COVID-19. Talk to your doctor. By Dr. Stephen Hahn USA Today March 17, 2020…Part of the FDA’s mission is to protect Americans from health fraud. This includes warning about the dangers of purchasing and using medical products or devices that have not been proven safe and/or effective for the uses they claim....

Former Republican congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul claimed that Coronavirus may be a “big hoax” and wondered why Democrats are so suddenly quick to give President Donald Trump new powers. “It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the Administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans,” Paul wrote in a column for his site.

The head of U.S. military forces in Central and South America has tested negative for coronavirus after meeting with Brazilian officials who later tested positive for the virus, U.S. Southern Command (Southcom) said Tuesday. Southcom commander Adm. Craig Faller and others in his command met with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro’s delegation at the command headquarters in Florida on March 8. Members of the Brazilian delegation, including Bolsonaro’s communications secretary, later tested positive for COVID-19. “To date, U.S. Southern Command has had no confirmed cases of COVID-19, and results for all personnel tested are negative, to include Adm. Craig Faller, Southcom...

With much of the country now under quarantine, the nation desperately needs reliable information about the coronavirus. Unfortunately, politics has infected much of the mainstream media’s coverage of the threat. Rather than taking their obligation to inform the public seriously, prestige outlets use each new development as a cudgel with which to beat President Trump. On the heels of the president’s announcement of a sweeping travel ban from other countries and declaration of emergency, a Sunday CNN chyron read: “Trump on Coronavirus: From ‘Hoax’ to National Emergency.” The trouble is that Trump never called the coronavirus a “hoax” — this...

The White House on Monday urged all Americans to follow a new set of guidelines for the next 15 days aimed at stopping the spread of the coronavirus that has now killed more than 70 people in the U.S. President Donald Trump, joined by members of his coronavirus task force, said the guidelines urge people across the country to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people, to avoid eating at or visiting bars, restaurants, and food courts, and to avoid discretionary travel. In places "with evidence of community transmission," bars and restaurants should close, the guidelines say. Trump also, however,...

We are only just beginning to see what the economic fallout from coronavirus will be. And Wall Street economists are now throwing out some brutal forecasts for what economic data in the quarters ahead might hold. “We now guesstimate that second quarter GDP will drop at a 10% annualized rate, after a 2% fall in Q1,” said Ian Shepherdson, chief economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics, in a note to clients on Monday night. The gnarliest figures in Shepherdson’s forecast come from where he sees consumer spending heading during the next few months.

The head of Israel’s shadowy Shin Bet internal security service said Tuesday that his agency received Cabinet approval overnight to start deploying its counter-terrorism tech measures to help curb the spread of the new coronavirus in Israel. While Nadav Argaman acknowledged that using the agency’s capabilities to track sick Israeli citizens deviates from Shin Bet’s typical operations against Palestinian militants, he said the goal was still in line with its overall mission of “saving lives.” He vowed there would be stringent oversight to maintain individual privacy and that operatives would only use their geolocation findings from cellphones and credit card...

Posts Posted on March 16, 2020March 16, 2020 Five Hard Truths That Will Set You Free Given our current profound troubles, it occurs to me to republish an article from some years back. Like most, I have been through difficulties in my life: violent storms, an earthquake, and the loss of several loved ones. But I have never seen something quite like what we are experiencing now. It is unclear how long things will last, and the restrictions get more severe by the day. With all that in mind, I think it is important to recall the five hard...

Biden's code name will be "Celtic," according to CNN. The former vice president has Irish Catholic heritage. Congressional leaders and other observers called for Biden to receive Secret Service protection after two protesters shouting, “Let dairy die!” rushed up to him on his stage during an event the night of Super Tuesday. Biden's wife, Jill, and top aide Symone Sanders escorted the protesters off the stage.

Summary COVID-19 is rapidly spreading across the globe and the U.S.The first of six Remdesivir trials could finish as soon as April.Gilead's Remdesivir is very promising according to experts and scuttlebut. This article lists the primary 12 reasons I think Remdesivir remains frontrunner to combat COVID-19. One subscriber to The Special Situation Report asked about how much upside I think there is for Gilead (GILD) if Remdesivir is successful. In good news, Wells Fargo now thinks Remdesivir can add $20 to the stock over time.My approach so far has been that this is not the question I want to try...

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said Tuesday that the blame for the slow pace of testing for coronavirus in the U.S. does not lie with either President Trump or the CDC. Fauci told Hugh Hewitt on "The Hugh Hewitt" show that a "technical glitch" resulted in the delay in production of usable tests in the U.S., something Fauci prescribed to random error. "[I]t was a complicated series of multiple things that conflated that just, you know, went the wrong way. One of them was a...

...A recent poll from the Wall Street Journal found that almost 25 percent of black men approve of President Trump, while only 6 percent of black women say the same. Those numbers should be higher, but it shows us that black men are slowly but surely breaking free from the flawed notion that they must reflexively align themselves with the Democratic Party. The gambit of placating black voters has grown stale during a time when a Republican president is delivering real results that positively impact their lives. With Sanders on the ropes and Biden poised to prevail as the Democratic...

"The coronavirus will be here for “many, many months” and the country must decide on a path forward, infectious disease specialist Michael Osterholm told CNBC on Tuesday. The world is still far from rolling out a vaccine, Osterholm noted, and until then, COVID-19 will present a threat to everyone, especially those most at risk. “We have to continue to consider what it means to die from this virus. It’s a very, very difficult and tragic situation. We also have to have a conversation about how we’re going to live with it. We have to figure that out,” the director of...
