The head of U.S. military forces in Central and South America has tested negative for coronavirus after meeting with Brazilian officials who later tested positive for the virus, U.S. Southern Command (Southcom) said Tuesday.
Southcom commander Adm. Craig Faller and others in his command met with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaros delegation at the command headquarters in Florida on March 8. Members of the Brazilian delegation, including Bolsonaros communications secretary, later tested positive for COVID-19.
To date, U.S. Southern Command has had no confirmed cases of COVID-19, and results for all personnel tested are negative, to include Adm. Craig Faller, Southcom commander, Southcom said a news release Tuesday.
Southcom is not releasing the identities of the others who were tested because of privacy concerns, it added.

No one in the Trump administration who met with the infected Brazilian communications secretary has tested positive.
Democrats and the media are crestfallen.

WELL put!
Brazilian? That’s a lot of people.
I asked the guy who cleans my house every two weeks about coronavirus in Brazil. He IS Brazilian. He said that the virus was not the problem. Children having no food to eat was the problem. That took me back a bit.
personally, I see the public open their eyes, see this for what it is, and propagated by whom, and rebound on multiple levels.
Losers will lose, and the country as a whole will be cleansed (at least temporarily) of those who wish it harm.
Wow! That’s a lot of people.
Why limit crowd sizes, if someone can meet brazillions of people and be OK?
I’d say,
Do not lick Brazilian Officials.
or, rub eyeballs with them.
and if you touch their body fluids wash your hands..just to be on the safe side.
Now get back to self isolation!
CNN News talking head: “Oh my, US Adm. Craig Faller met with Brazillions. That’s reckless. People weren’t supposed to gather in numbers greater than 50. By the way, how many millions are in a brazillion?”
No argument from me.
