State lawmakers in California are considering a bill that would prohibit state agencies from spending taxpayer money at any of the hotels owned by President Trump or his family. Brighton police have made an arrest in the crash the day before Thanksgiving on Edgewood Avenue that killed two pedestrians. Twenty-year-old Ninoshka Vazquez-Ruiz is charged with two counts of criminally negligent homicide for the deaths of nine-year-old Mila Ruangsuwana and her baby-sitter, Elmira Kamilevna Hall. The woman also is charged with one count of assault for injuring the girl's 2-year-old brother, Evan. Police say the woman was driving 63 mph in a 30 mph zone, failed to keep right and did not have a license. She is due in Town Court on Wednesday.
