A rare Victorian gold coin considered to be one of the most beautiful ever produced has fetched a record £532,000. The 1839 'Victoria Una and the Lion' five pound coin shows the 20-year-old queen leading a lion representing the British Empire. It depicts Victoria as Una, from the Elizabethan poem The Faerie Queene by Edmund Spenser.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is gloating because President Donald Trump is "impeached for life," and "there's nothing the Senate can do that can ever erase that." Like a prosecutor telling a defendant, even if acquitted, you're "indicted for life" and you'll never shake the disgrace. So much for the noble principle of innocent until proven guilty. Could this be the same never-hate Pelosi who wore black on Dec. 18 as she "solemnly and sadly" called for a vote to impeach the president? What a charade. The Dems' goal all along has been to impeach Trump and damage his re-electability in...

Email marketing service Mailchimp has terminated the account of Stefan Molyneux, host of the philosophy show Freedomain, after a complaint from Nandini Jammi, co-founder of activist group Sleeping Giants. Mailchimp appears to have made the decision largely based on this complaint from Jammi which alleges that Molyneux is a white nationalist who promotes eugenics and race science. Molyneux denied these allegations but Mailchimp decided to terminate his account anyway and thanked Jammi for “bringing this to our attention.” Some existing customers of Mailchimp are shocked that the company appears to terminate its customers’ accounts based on as little as a...

Topline: James Murdoch, a son of press baron Rupert, has publicly criticized the family’s news outlets for their “ongoing denial” of the links between climate change and raging bushfires in Australia, where the Murdoch empire originated. Former media executive James and his wife, Kathryn, who works for the Clinton Foundation’s climate initiative, have previously been outspoken about climate change. A spokesperson for the couple told the IAC-owned Daily Beast: “Kathryn and James’ views on climate are well established and their frustration with some of the News Corp and Fox coverage of the topic is also well known.” “They are particularly...

Since December 2017, deeply aggrieved Iranian citizens have publicly denounced two blatantly linked injustices perpetrated by the corrupt ayatollah regime: the clerical dictatorship's hideous corruption and Iran's acute economic deterioration. Iran's Islamic revolutionary dictatorship is a case study in repeated failure, incompetence, corruption and mass murder. I estimate that since 1990, I've written over two dozen essays examining the failed Iranian regime's murderous Islamic global revolution, the mass domestic Iranian disappointment with the regime's governance and the Iranian public's evident disgust with governmental corruption. The internet documents my claim. If your mainstream media sources didn't notice Iran's domestic discord, henceforth...

Iran has announced the arrest of a person who recorded a video last week showing missiles striking the Ukrainian passenger plane that crashed outside of Tehran – but it may be a case of mistaken identity. The person, who was detained by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, is expected to face charges related to national security following the military mishap that downed the plane, according to Iranian media reports. Yet the London-based journalist who first posted that person’s footage on Twitter, the BBC says, is claiming that authorities have arrested the wrong individual. “The person who is a source of the video...

Democrats only do two things. They harm political opposition at any cost to the citizens, and they advance the Democratic Party at any cost to the citizens. The Democratic Party serves the elite of western civilization, not the citizens of the USA. They now support the regime in Iran, the same regime that killed thousands of Iranians. Today a representative of the Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader today called for the UK’s Ambassador to Iran Rob Macaire to be “chopped into pieces”.

Father Bill McGuire was sitting in the upper level of the press box at Kezar Stadium watching his hometown team play the Chicago Bears. Things were not going well. The 49ers fumbled the opening kickoff, and the Bears swiftly scored. Less than two minutes into the game, the Niners were down 7-0. Chicago then forced a punt and scored again. Now, it was 14-0. In the lower level of the press box, Tony Morabito, founder and principal owner of the 49ers, sat with his wife, Josephine, and his brother and partner, Vic. He could not have been happy. Morabito --...

Sydney Powell is not messing around with these corrupt DOJ lawyers. – Former National Security Advisor Lt. General Mike Flynn filed a motion to withdraw his plea of guilty in his entrapment case on Tuesday. The move comes a week after the government lawyers had reneged on their previous sentencing agreement with Flynn, and recommended Gen. Flynn serve jail time for allegedly misleading FBI Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka in the January 2017 entrapment meeting that helped to create the pretense for the Mueller Witch Hunt. Flynn’s attorney, Sydney Powell, filed a motion that scorches the earth on which the...

What’s it like barreling through mountain passes in whiteout conditions – translation for the uninitiated: the combination of snow and wind that results in zero visibility? It sucks. Nobody enjoys it: not thrill seeking adrenaline junkies, ordinary junkies, type A or B personalities, liberals, conservatives, not global warmists or deniers…NOBODY. You are unsafe at any speed and you know it.Allow me to share a little of the “thrill” for those of you south of the Mason-Dixon line who’ve never seen the necessity of learning how to steer into a skid:Yes, that about captures it. I know you can’t see anything...

The most abused adjective in political reporting is the label "centrist." It should tell you everything about the politician. Unfortunately, it tells us far more about those applying the label. The American Conservative Union ratings system has been widely accepted as the voting compass from the perspective of the right. According to the ACU, a centrist would look like Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, who has a lifetime ACU score of 44.8%. Reporters could call her a "liberal Republican," and they should, except that term simply doesn't exist. (Don't believe us? Check it out.) Or take Sen. Joe Manchin of...

On June 22, 1941, the Third Reich launched its ill-fated invasion of Russia. It was pestilential in scale; more than three million Axis soldiers swarmed Russia’s borders in a matter of hours, overwhelming Soviet defenses. Hitler regarded the peoples of the Soviet Union to be a subhuman rabble against whom victory was inevitable. But the supposed Untermensch turned out to be ferocious opponents, hardened by decades of deprivation and fueled by an unbending love of country. Among those supercharged patriots were eight hundred thousand women who volunteered for frontline action, in roles such as snipers, machine gunners, and tank drivers....

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem (Music in The Bible) Psalm 87 Psalm 87 Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song. 1 He has founded his city on the holy mountain. 2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob. 3 Glorious things are said of you, city of God:[a] 4 “I will record Rahab[b] and Babylon among those who acknowledge me— Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush[c]— and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”[d] 5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her,...

Many in the media are asserting that a new study proves women don’t regret abortion ever – but “ever†only means the following five years. A study published in Social Science & Medicine on January 12 found that by five years after an abortion, “the large majority of women (84%) had either primarily positive emotions or no emotions whatsoever†and just “6% expressed primarily negative emotions.†The media widely covered the study while, at the same time, overlooked the women who say it took them decades to acknowledge their regret after abortion.CNN’s headline about the study, which was performed by researchers...
