Lawsuit a first for BritainLONDON (ChurchMilitant.com) - An atheist politician who converted to Catholicism is suing Britain's most left-wing, pro-abortion party after it ousted him from candidacy for his opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage. "It is a tragedy for democracy that I am having to pursue a discrimination case against the Liberal Democrats because they don't like the views of a practicing Catholic," lamented Rob Flello, former Liberal Democrat candidate for Stoke-on-Trent South. Flello was deselected by the Liberal Democrat Party, a process in U.K. politics that involves rejecting the person who currently represents one's party as a candidate...

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus. (Matthew 1:22-25)All of this was done… all of what? All of the events...

The poll had a margin of error of...

Not only were they among the last Boeing 707 derivatives ever built, but they are also packed full of EMP hardened systems and highly skilled crews that would literally hold the world as we know it in their hands during a major crisis. Although advanced and highly secure satellite communications and line-of-sight data-links are critical parts of their capability set, a far more cumbersome system is used to talk to ballistic missile submarines hiding deep below the waves. The deployment of this fascinating capability was caught today by a plane tracker that was monitoring an E-6B operating off the coast...

Just as Democrats carve out certain parts of the 2nd Amendment while intentionally ignoring the rest that clearly says "shall not be infringed," this time they attempt to carve out the Impeachment Clause from the rest of the U.S Constitution that effectively: 1.) Causes a part of the Constitution to not be subject to checks and balances. 2.) Elevates the House above the co-equal branches of the Executive and Judiciary through their claims yesterday they don't need the courts to be the arbiter over whether or not witnesses must comply to summons, papers and information they deem to be pertinent...

Days after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced her support for the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) on trade, nine environmental groups wrote to lawmakers urging them to vote against its passage. "On behalf of our over 10 million members, we strongly urge you to VOTE NO on the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), also known as NAFTA 2.0, which fails to address the climate crisis and adequately protect our environment, when it comes to the House floor for a vote," the groups wrote in a letter to lawmakers Friday. The letter was signed by Earthjustice, Food and Water Action, Friends of the...

Sixteen-year-old Sadie Earegood has turned to local police with the claim that her teacher recently ripped a “Women for Trump” pin off her chest. The high school junior told a local NBC affiliate in Mason, Michigan, that teacher Paul Kato couldn’t agree to disagree upon seeing her political pin on Dec. 5. “I was just really shocked that a teacher would especially do that,” she told the station on Monday. “He’s talking about the ‘Women for Trump’ pin and I said, ‘That’s fine you don’t have to like it, we can have our opinions.’ “ Sadie said it wasn’t...

President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani said that he believes there is an internal effort in the State Department to have Trump removed from office. In a Thursday interview with Sinclair’s Eric Bolling, the 75-year-old former New York City mayor was asked if he believes in the existence of a “deep state” conspiracy. “Is there a deep state? Is there a concerted effort within the organization, within the [State] Department and or the FBI to take down President Trump?” Bolling asked. “Oh yes,” Giuliani responded. “State Department is filled with them.” “It isn’t that they disagree with his policies, and...

The spectacle of Aung San Suu Kyi, a once-persecuted Nobel peace laureate now defending her country against allegations of genocide over its treatment of the Rohingya minority, has been one of bewildering irony. In the years after she was released from house arrest in 2010, princes, presidents and prime ministers welcomed Aung San Suu Kyi with open arms into their own opulent homes. The feel-good factor of rubbing shoulders with someone who had dedicated much of her adult life to the pursuit of democracy was irresistible. Then, the grandeur of the Peace Palace in The Hague - a marble-floored monument...

Actress Sally Field was arrested Friday on the steps of the U.S. Capitol as she joined Jane Fonda and labor activists to protest the harmful effects of climate change on workers. The demonstration, led by Fonda for a 10th consecutive week, resulted in 26 arrests, according to Capitol Police. “I come with my heart and my voice,” Field said at the protest. “I am a mother. I am a grandmother. The time is now. We cannot sit back in our comfort zones, on our couches, and wonder, what can we do? We can get out, we can do something.”...

Judicial Watch sued the Department of Justice for records about former Democratic cybersecurity aide Imran Awan in order to square evidence of wrongdoing with prosecutors’ decision not to charge malpractices on Capitol Hill. The DOJ said it could not produce records under FOIA because of “technical difficulties,” then said it was actually because of a secret case it had not wanted to mention, according to a court filing. The Department of Justice is withholding documents about the Imran Awan cybersecurity scandal by saying there is an ongoing, secret case related to matter, according to court papers. Judicial Watch filed a...
