The U.S. Navy sailor who fatally shot two people at Pearl Harbor before killing himself was unhappy with his commanders and had been undergoing counseling, a military official said Friday. Gabriel Romero, 22, also faced non-judicial punishment, which is a lower-level administrative process for minor misconduct, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters not made public. He used his two service weapons in the attack, the official said. SNIP Romero, who was from Texas and enlisted in the Navy two years ago, was dead when authorities arrived, and he was armed for his job...

“He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life” (Proverbs 7:22-23 KJV).

Joe Biden declined Friday to rule out appointing political donors to ambassadorships or other posts if he wins the 2020 presidential election . But he pledged that his nominees, regardless of their contributor status, would be the "best people" for their posts. Biden's position diverges from fellow Democratic presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren , who has sworn off high-dollar fundraisers and repeatedly mocked the longstanding bipartisan practice of U.S. presidents distributing ambassadorships around the world to some of their top campaign donors. "I'm going to appoint the best people possible," Biden said Friday aboard his campaign bus in rural Iowa. "Nobody,...

According to The Times, Rocketman features a liaison between actor Taron Egerton, who plays Elton John, and Richard Madden, who appears as John Reid, his former manager, deemed “the most explicit gay love scene since Brokeback Mountain in 2005.” Along with the Rocketman film, the Vatican also invested some €3.3 million in the production of...

While you have been out playing church, and downloading all the tracks from satanist Kanye West’s ‘Jesus Is King‘ album, the leader of the world’s largest religion, Pope Francis, has been brazenly bold and open about furthering his plans for the One World Religion of Chrislam. On November 18, Pope Francis stated that the only thing standing in his way of seeing his “Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” covenant being realized are those nasty, scourge fundamentalist Bible believers who keep exposing him. I took it as a compliment. "In today’s precarious world, dialogue among religions is not...

The Iranian authorities have acknowledged that the recent wave of uprisings included 29 of Iran’s 31 provinces and has resulted in heavy tolls for the regime. In FOX News reporter’s opinion, the regime has used excessive force to suppress the uprising. This could be translated as the weakening of this regime, “regime is scared”. ...Trump said Friday that his administration is looking into relaxing water-saving regulations for toilets, sinks and showers, saying consumers end up using even more water by flushing multiple times and trying to get clean with low water streams. “People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times as opposed to once. They end up using more water,'' Trump said while talking with business owners about what he said are ‘’common sense'' steps to end overregulation. "The EPA is looking at that very strongly at my suggestion.''

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau mocked President Donald Trump on Tuesday at a NATO summit in London, saying that Trump’s team’s “jaws drop[ped] to the floor” after watching the president’s behavior. Trudeau’s mockery of Trump became international news, and the president immediately canceled a press conference that he was scheduled to participate in at the conclusion of a NATO summit in London. On Friday, however, Trump got the last laugh after jobs reports were released for both countries that showed very different performance numbers to put it mildly.

At the end of a heated exchange with a reporter Thursday morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) stared pointedly at the man who had asked her if she hates President Trump and uttered four words: “Don’t mess with me.” Within minutes, the contentious moment — initiated by a question from Sinclair Broadcast Group reporter James Rosen — blew up social media. --SNIP-- Since the law took effect in April, 574 accused domestic abusers in Philadelphia were ordered to hand over their weapons, but only 62 of them complied. “I’m really shocked at those figures,” said former State Rep. Marguerite C. Quinn, a Republican from Bucks County who sponsored the bill that ultimately became the domestic-violence law known as Act 79. “Is it a matter of manpower? Is it disrespect of the new law? Is it they are going out and people don’t have guns? I have a domino of questions.”

How much better can things get? That’s the kind of question that politicians hate and the public loves. The two dozen Democratic candidates heading into the Iowa caucuses in a few weeks would love to accuse the president of mismanaging the economy. But with a jobs report like the one that came out early Friday morning, Trumponomics are roaring. Consider the unemployment rate of 3.5 percent. Most living Americans have never seen an unemployment rate this low, because most Americans are under the age of 50 and the U.S. economy hasn’t had such low unemployment since 1969. As every college...

There's no place like home, Mayor Bill de Blasio says—and that's why he's shipping the city's indigent to Newark. In his weekly Ask the Mayor radio segment, de Blasio asserted that his controversial Special One-Time Assistance program, under which the administration pays the rent of a homeless household for one year if they exit the five boroughs, as the only way to get people into long-term accommodations. The comments came in response to a caller who reported being a homeless person relocated to a dilapidated apartment in New Jersey—and came days after Newark lodged a lawsuit against de Blasio and...
