FULL TITLE: Exclusive — Devin Nunes Warns U.S. About ‘Tech Oligarchs’ Censorship, Bias Against Conservatives: ‘I Am Very Concerned’ Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), the ranking member of the House Select Committee on Intelligence, told Breitbart News he is “very concerned” about the rising threat of the “tech oligarchs” at Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other tech giants censoring conservatives in an effort to stymie free speech and push a leftist agenda. Nunes, who is suing Twitter right now in Virginia, said in an exclusive appearance on Breitbart News Sunday on SiriusXM Patriot Channel 125 this weekend that that company “has been...

Residents of Galena purchased a one-way airplane ticket for a woman believed to be dealing drugs as a way of fighting the spread of narcotics there, a report said. About 40 residents gathered at the airport last week and sent a representative to an arriving plane to tell a woman they believed to be a methamphetamine dealer that they would pay her $210 airfare to leave, The Anchorage Daily News reported Saturday. The woman chose to remain on the plane and take a departing flight after being told she would be closely watched if she remained. Drug dealers are known...

resident Donald Trump Monday launched a Labor Day Twitter attack against AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka after the powerful labor leader Sunday said the nation's unions won't have "any choice" but to block the "unenforceable" United States-Mexico-Canada trading deal. "Just watched AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka on @FoxNews and thought to myself how different he is on TV than he is when he is with me at the White House," the president tweeted. "Likes what we are doing until the cameras go on. We got robbed on Trade and everything else while his Dems just sat back and watched." "NAFTA is the...

Boris Johnson has said there are "no circumstances" in which he will ask for another Brexit delay, as he prepares for a parliamentary showdown with MPs. In a statement outside Downing Street, the prime minister claimed MPs' attempts to force him into an extension would "chop the legs out" from the UK's negotiating position with the EU. Mr Johnson called on MPs to reject a "pointless" bid to stop him taking Britain out of the bloc on 31 October without a deal. Speculation is rife in Westminster that he could call an election if the MPs are successful in their...

Bernie Sanders’ Perpetual Motion Green New Deal Magical electricity for free and cars for no one. September 2, 2019 Daniel Greenfield 26 Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism. One time, as I was riding in an Uber from the airport, the driver began explaining perpetual motion. Even though we were in a motor vehicle which needed regular infusions of gasoline to keep going, the driver, who was a devotee of ancient Egyptian technology, claimed that the pyramids were really generators, that modern...

A new law requires boat operators to wear an emergency engine cutoff switch or a kill switch lanyard starting Sept. 1, 2019. So what should you know and how can this affect you? State Game Warden Shane Lewis told ABC 7, kill switches are just as important as wearing a life jacket, and he's glad now they’re legally required. “I’m actually surprised the law hadn’t been into effect prior to this, it’s a very important law and its going to really improve the safety of boating on the water,” said Lewis. “Let’s say that you were ejected from a boat...

MIAMI (CBSMiami/CNN) – Power crews are rolling into Daytona International Speedway ahead of Hurricane Dorian. Those crews, made up of 18,000 people from 34 states and Canada, are staging getting ready to restore power after this storm. “This is one of the processing centers where they come in, they get their assignments they go through a safety training and then we preposition them in 20 staging sites that we’ve established in the east coast of Florida. What that does is that it puts us in the position so that they are able to hit the ground running and they are...

RB: You are a movement, you are a doer. If you could make America perfect, how would you do it? DT: Well, I think that America is a country that has tremendous, tremendous potential. I think that much like the mind, I think that America is using very, very little of its potential. I feel that this country with the proper leadership can go on to become what it once was and I hope, and certainly hope that it does go in to be what it, what it should be. RB: What should it be? DT: Well, it should...

How does one know what the voting public thinks? Once upon a time, long, long ago, public opinion polls may have reflected, however faintly, some generalization of public opinion. For a multitude of reasons, that is no longer true. To demonstrate that point, compare the August 29 Rasmussen poll showing President Trump’s approval rating of 47 percent with the Quinnipiac reported approval rating of 38 percent. Even more irrational are the Quinnipiac poll result that whatever is left of Joe Biden would beat Trump 54 percent to 38 percent in a general election and the Economist poll number that asserts...

In August 1939 Hitler was stirring up tension with Poland and he was prepared to fabricate whatever was needed as a pretext to invade. On August 11th he told the League of Nations High Commissioner If there’s the slightest provocation, I shall shatter Poland without warning into so many pieces that there will be nothing left to pick up.

A story that former Vice-President Joe Biden tried to tell during a New Hampshire campaign stop in which he got virtually every detail wrong—the time, the location, the act, the medal, the military branch, the rank of the hero, and his own role in the ceremony–”was not a gaffe,” he insisted. “Look, in every war heroic actions are taken by somebody, somewhere, at some time,” Biden pointed out. “Does it really matter whether it was a soldier or sailor? Does it really matter what his or her rank was? The point is that medals for bravery are given out and...

Several months ago I reviewed here Peter Zeihan's book, "The Accidental Superpower." It was an informed and at times shocking look at current trends. Zeihan is a group of "futurists" whose economic forecasting firm advises corporate clients. The analysis is so thorough & complex, I will develop it in three threads as he has divided his book into three parts. This is the first section. In his newest book, Zeihan reiterates and updates much of what he said earlier, beginning the the profound impact---indeed revolutionary impact---of shale. He analyzes the various forms of petroleum products, arguing that shale is entering...

Gov. Andrew Cuomo doubled down last week on his blame-the-messenger approach to New York’s growing shortage of natural-gas supplies by ordering the Department of Public Service to “broaden its investigation” of National Grid and threatening to “find another franchisee.” Anything, rather than admit that his own policies are at fault. The utility has stopped taking new gas customers in parts of Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens where it can’t handle the new demand — because Team Cuomo vetoed the proposed Williams pipeline to bring in supplies from New Jersey. (Jersey is also blocking the pipeline, since Gov. Phil Murphy is...

While Dave Ball today on these pages cautions us that polls no longer are reliable, in his article Trump in a Landslide: Here's Why, the New York Times’ own polling guru is picking up signs that the paper’s bête noire may be surging in public support. Nate Cohn writes in Don’t Assume Trump’s Approval Rating Can’t Climb Higher. It Already Has.: "Donald J. Trump doesn’t always seem like a candidate focused on expanding his base of support. He may have done so anyway. The share of Americans who say they have a favorable view of him has increased significantly since...

The seeds of dissent were visible almost immediately. Soccer officials had notified the Timbers Army, a fan organization for the team in Portland, Oregon, on the eve of this season that the anti-fascist symbol its members had been waving on a giant banner in the north end of the stadium would no longer be permitted at games.

If you go to www.wunderground.com you can find individual weather stations owned by private individuals and companies like you and me. They buy their own instruments and feed it live to the wunderground.com. They provide some ground truth independent of government and MSM. The last time there was a supposedly major hurricane the ground stations showed much less wind. Sure enough, the damage was way less than the MSM and government had been talking about. Now with Dorian they seem to be doing the same thing. The data from Weather Underground stations match Windy.com which match Ventusky.com. They all show...
