Gail Gordon Donegan, appointed this month to the Virginia Council on Women, once made fun of Catholic priests by suggesting that they oppose abortions because they want to rape children. “Abortion is morally indefensible to Catholic priests bcuz it results in fewer children to rape,” she wrote on Twitter, according to an investigation by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. On Monday, Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke hosted a town hall at the College of Charleston, during which he reiterated his support for late-term abortion in response to an audience question. During his response, O’Rourke said that, because of abortion-clinic regulations in Texas, one-fourth of family planning facilities have shut down and claimed that these policies have made the state “one of the epicenters of this maternal mortality crisis.” To make this claim, O’Rourke is relying on incorrect data. A 2016 study in the journal Obstetrics and Gynecology did report a large increase in the incidence of maternal mortality in...

The Justice Department inspector general's report shows ex-FBI Director James Comey is to blame for the country having to deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, according to Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio. Comey also proved there are two sets of rules -- one for bureaucrats and one for the American people, Jordan claimed Thursday on Fox News Radio's "The Todd Starnes Show." "Comey broke the rules, plain and simple," the lawmaker said. "It sort of gets to this thing we've talked about before -- Americans are so sick of the double standard -- one set of rules for you and...

Harris, a pro-abortion Democratic senator from California, is running for president of the United States. Just a few years ago, Daleiden said she abused her role as state attorney general to prosecute him for exposing the billion-dollar abortion “nonprofit.” “I think that Kamala Harris is the greatest threat to civil rights and the...

Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein took an apparent shot at former FBI Director James Comey on Twitter Thursday and derided commentators from CNN and MSNBC following the release of the Justice Department inspector general's report. While Rosenstein didn't explicitly mention Comey, his initial tweet quoted a letter in which he cautioned against violating Justice Department policy because of short-term circumstances. "It is important for the Department of Justice to follow established policies and procedures, especially when the stakes are high," Rosenstein wrote. In the preceding paragraph, he mentioned that Comey seemed to argue that circumstances justified both his disclosures...
